MITCHELL — The Platte-Geddes girls and Bon Homme boys claimed Region 4B golf titles on Monday. 

Platte-Geddes (276) and Scotland/Menno (294) qualified for the state girls golf tournament as teams. Bon Homme (242) and Platte-Geddes (245) qualified for the state boys golf tournament as teams. 

Individually, Platte-Geddes’ Mallory Gant and Burke’s Brody Indahl were individual medalists. Gant shot a 85, shooting a 40 on the front nine and a 45 on the back nine. Corsica-Stickney’s Claire Gerlach (86) and Ethan’s Bella Guthrie (92) finished second and third, respectively. 

Indahl fired a 77, shooting a 39 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine. Indahl’s round was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5, 468-yard hole at Lakeview Golf Course. 

Platte-Geddes’ Bohde Kuiper (79) and Corsica-Stickney’s Jett Kemp (79) finished second and third, respectively. 

The Class B boys and girls golf tournaments are June 1-2 in Brookings.
