Rapid City Central’s Karl the Cobbler advances to final four in national mascot tournament

RAPID CITY — Rapid City Central High School’s Karl the Cobbler is onto the final four. 

Rapid City Central’s mascot has advanced to the final four in The64’s “America’s Best High School Mascot Tournament”.

Karl the Cobbler is joined in the final four by Hutto High School Hippos (Texas), Hampton High School Crabbers (Virginia), and the Sleepy Hollow High School Headless Horseman (New York). 

Earlier this season, Rapid City Central celebrated 100 years of Karl the Cobbler being the school’s official mascot.
