Over the past several months, the SDHSAA has worked collaboratively with the Nebraska School Activities Association to secure a number of SDHSAA Class  11AAA non-conference football games against opponents from the Omaha metro area. While it was not possible to fulfill every requested matchup during this cycle, meaningful progress was made through this cooperative effort, and the SDHSAA remains hopeful that additional crossover contests can be explored in the next two-year scheduling cycle.

This release reflects the SDHSAA Class 11AAA football matchups that have been secured to date with those schools from the Omaha area; these contests are finalized and will remain as published. While the remainder of the SDHSAA football schedules, including the balance of the SDHSAA Class 11AAA schedule and all other classifications, are still being finalized and will be released at a later date, we are releasing these contests now to match up with the schedule release date from the Nebraska School Activities Association.

SDHSAA Class 11AAA vs. Nebraska Football Matchups

The following SDHSAA Class 11AAA matchups have been secured for the upcoming two-year cycle (the second year matchup is on the concurrent date with home and away flipped):

• Brandon Valley at Bellevue West — Friday, August 28

• Sioux Falls Washington at Millard North — Friday, September 18

• Omaha Central at Sioux Falls Lincoln — Friday, September 25

• Omaha Westview at Sioux Falls Jefferson — Friday, October 2

• Omaha North at Harrisburg — Friday, October 9

Additional football scheduling information, including remaining matchups across all classifications, will be released as it is  finalized at a later date.
