The South Dakota High School Coaches Association announces the Coach of the Year, Athletic Director of the Year, and Official of the Year Awards for the winter 2023.

These coaches, athletic director, and official will be recognized at the annual awards banquet to be held on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at 1 p.m. CDT at the Holiday Inn Express in Dakota Dunes.

The winners: 

Gymnastics – Sherri Johnson, Estelline/Hendricks

Wrestling – Matt Thorson, Pierre

Girls’ Basketball – Tim Koisti, Hamlin

Boys’ Basketball – Jason Kleis, Dakota Valley

Athletic Director – Joey Struwe, Sioux Falls Lincoln

Official – Larry Stevens, Rapid City
