Wall 3, Dupree 0

WALL — Wall swept Dupree in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-17 and 25-13. 

 

De Smet 3, Sioux Valley 2

VOLGA — De Smet outlasted Sioux Valley in a five-set match during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 25-27, 19-25, 25-21 and 15-10.

DS’s Hazel Luethmers had 30 kills, 10 digs and four blocks, Brooke Jennings had 14 kills and 27 digs, Ivy Schoenfelder had 10 kills and four digs, Aubree Blue totaled 35 digs, Megan Dylla dished out 52 assists and nine digs, while Harper Anderson tallied 15 digs in the win.

For SV, Emma Gorvin tallied 15 kills, 11 digs and a block, Lacey Langland added 10 kills and six digs, Maci Licht recorded 11 kills and six digs, Talya Vincent totaled 31 digs, Macheala Gerasch had 26 assists and 14 digs, Caitlin Russell had 22 digs while McKinley Schwab had 23 assists and six digs in the loss.


Burke 3, Corsica-Stickney 0

BURKE — Class B No. 4 Burke swept Corsica-Stickney during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action  The set scores were 25-12, 25-19 and 25-16.

Emmie Hausmann recorded 20 kills, eight digs and two aces, Brianna Davis had eight kills and three aces, Daytona Paris tallied four kills, Kyrie Matucha had 14 digs, Emmy Spencer totaled six digs, Katelyn Hagberg netted four blocks while Breckynn Pistulka had 14 assists in the win.

For CS, Braylee Bordewyk had nine kills, six digs, three blocks, seven assists and three aces, Sophie Delange added five kills, Cali Vanden Hoek recorded 10 digs, while Remi Nelson had six assists in the loss.


Winner 3, Lyman 0

WINNER — Winner swept Lyman during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-21 and 25-18.

Livvy Audiss had 13 kills, Payton Sargent recorded 11 kills, Lilly Barfuss totaled eight kills, Gracie Root dished out 29 assists and had 14 digs, Kylie Sachtjen added 16 digs and one block while Alice Wilson had 14 digs and five assists in the win.

For Lyman, Jordyn Scott had six kills, four blocks, 12 digs and four aces, Mak Scott tallied four kills, three blocks, 16 digs and two aces, Bree Smart had three kills and 11 assists while Kenzie Wagner netted three blocks and 19 digs in the loss.


Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 3, Wessington Springs 0

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Sanborn Central-Woonsocket swept Wessington Springs during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-14 and 25-17.

SCW’s Liz Boschee had 12 kills, five digs, four blocks and an ace, Addison Bartholow tallied 11 kills, 12 digs and six aces, Hudson Fouberg recorded 15 digs while Kali Hofer had 20 digs, 14 assists and one kill in the win.

WS’s stats were not reported.


Wagner 3, Avon 0

AVON — Wagner swept Avon in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-16 and 25-22.

Wagner’s Ravyn Medricky finished with eight kills, while Ashlyn Koupal totaled seven kills, eight digs and two blocks. Brianna Fuchs and Hannah Holzbauer posted six kills apiece. Holzbauer added 12 digs. Libby Kotab had eight digs. Braxton Nedved totaled 26 assists. Brylie Link finished with five aces. Holzbauer and Nedved had blocks. 

For Avon, Rilyn Thury finished with 10 kills and 12 digs. Jordyn Voigt finished with 13 digs. Kaydence Metzger had 11 digs. Brielle Voigt finished with 15 assists and two aces. 


Colman-Egan 3, McCook Central Montrose 0

COLMAN — Colman-Egan swept McCook Central-Montrose during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-10, 25-22 and 26-24.

CE’s Brynlee Landis had 14 kills, six digs and two blocks, Finley Luze recorded 12 assists and three aces, Caelee LeBrun tallied eight kills and six digs, Michoen Williamson had five blocks, while Hannah Grabb tallied seven assists in the win.

For MCM, Avery Alley had 11 assists, Khloie Klinkhammer had eight assists, Jaida Skyberg and Addison Gordon each had seven kills while Ashtyn Denikker recorded 18 digs in the loss.


Chester 3, Elkton-Lake Benton 0

CHESTER — Class B No. 1 Chester swept Elkton-Lake Benton in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-16 and 25-9.

Chester’s Lily VanHal finished with 10 kills, 20 assists and seven aces. Jacy Wolf totaled nine kills and 14 digs. Katelyn Schut and Emilie Bleeker finished with one block apiece. Gracie Huntimer had 14 digs.

For Elkton-Lake Benton, Malyha Slegers had 10 assists and seven digs. Charlie Thooft finished with six kills and Jalyn Frerichs totaled three kills. Quinn Slegers had 11 digs. 


Castlewood 3, Deuel 0

CLEAR LAKE — Castlewood swept Deuel in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-17 and 25-22. 

Castlewood’s Claire Horn finished with 10 kills, four aces and nine digs. Ava Ruml added eight kills and two blocks. Lilly Jacobsen finished with four kills and one block. Emery Larson totaled 17 assists and Cyndi Kudrna added five assists. Nora Solberg finished with one block, four aces and seven digs, while Cassidy Kirwan added three aces and seven digs. Sophie Kudrna had a block. 

For Deuel, Alayna Carlson finished with six kills and two blocks. Lauryn Peterreins totaled four kills and two aces. Ella Kerkvliet had 10 digs. Sophie Trupe totaled five digs and Gracyn Gohring had three digs. 


Mobridge-Pollock 3, Timber Lake 0 

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock swept Timber Lake in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 25-15 and 26-24.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Jersey Frederick finished with nine kills and eight digs. Brooke Bain, Jayda Thompson and Blake Thompson posted six kills apiece. Blake Thompson added eight digs and one block. Tegan Konold finished with 18 digs. Avery Schlomer recorded 10 assists and six digs. Ellie Kemnitz tallied 13 assists and five digs. Pacey Konold had two blocks. 

Timber Lake stats were not reported. 


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Vermillion 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 2 Sioux Falls Christian swept Vermillion in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-10, 25-11 and 25-4.

Sioux Falls Christian’s Tavyn Sichmeller finished nine kills and two digs. Jayla Overman recorded nine kills and three digs. Allyra Dorhout and Kinzie Poppema tallied six kills apiece. Ella Fluth totaled 10 digs. Meredith Nelson recorded 28 assists. Camdyn Mulder had three kills. 

For Vermillion, Tessa Peterson finished with six kills. Emma Rettig had two kills and one ace. Flynn Peterson posted 32 digs and Brooke Vandroglen totaled 19 digs. Ally Peterson posted four assists and Kara Chapman had three assists. 


Brandon Valley 3, Brookings 0 

BROOKINGS — Class AA No. 2 Brandon Valley swept Brookings in a Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-20 and 25-23.

Brandon Valley’s Jayaunna Stroh totaled 13 kills, while Mya VanWesten had 31 digs. Kennedi Boomsma finished with three blocks. Logan McGuire added 39 assists and four aces.

Brookings stats were not reported.
