Rapid City Stevens 3, Rapid City Central 0

RAPID CITY — Rapid City Stevens swept rival Rapid City Central in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-14 and 25-13. 


Lyman 3, White River 2

WHITE RIVER — Lyman outlasted White River in a five-set marathon match on Tuesday. The set scores were 22-25, 25-18, 17-25, 25-22 and 15-12. 

Lyman’s Mak Scott finished with 16 kills, 10 digs and two blocks. Jordyn Scott totaled 11 kills, 14 digs and five aces. Brooke Montgomery added 11 kills, while Claire Griffith finished with eight kills. Kenzie Wagner totaled six kills. Bree Smart finished with 37 assists, nine digs and three aces.

White River stats were not reported. 


Dell Rapids 3, Elk Point-Jefferson 0

ELK POINT — Class A No. 1 Dell Rapids swept Elk Point-Jefferson during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-10, and 25-15.

DR’s Sylea Sykes had 13 kills and nine digs, Madelynn Henry added 12 kills and seven digs, Tenley Anderson recorded 30 assists and two kills, Alaina Wolff recorded 10 digs and four assists while Elin Schoenhard netted four kills in the win.

For EPJ, Paige Jacobs had four kills, Molly Geary had 12 digs, Cera Schmitz totaled 12 kills while Laney Trometer had 16 assists and six digs in the loss.


Burke 3, Winner 1

BURKE — Burke topped Winner in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 21-25, 25-17, 25-19 and 25-20.

Burke’s Emmie Hausmann finished with 18 kills and 18 digs. Emmy Spencer totaled nine kills and 11 assists. Brianna Davis finished with seven kills and 21 digs. Breckynn Pistulka finished with 23 digs and five aces. Daytona Paris had two blocks. Kyrie Matucha posted 29 digs. 

For Winner, Payton Sargent finished with 11 kills, while Livvy Audiss had 16 digs, nine kills and four aces. Gracie Root finished with 22 digs and 23 assists. Alice Wilson finished with 14 digs. Josie Corkle had two aces. 


Wagner 3, Mount Vernon/Plankinton 0

WAGNER — Wagner swept Mount Vernon/Plankinton in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-12 and 25-13.

Wagner’s Ravyn Medricky finished with 12 kills and two blocks, while Hannah Holzbauer posted three aces, seven kills and nine digs. Ashlyn Koupal finished with five kills. Braxton Nedved added three aces, 19 digs and 28 assists. Libby Kotab posted 12 digs. 

For MVP, Madalynn Lorang had 12 digs and six kills. Abigail Engelland totaled 12 assists. Layce Bruns finished with two aces and one block. Brooklyn Bosma totaled one block. 


Groton Area 3, Ipswich 0

IPSWICH — Groton Area swept Ipswich during Tuesday's high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-16, and 26-24.

Tevan Hanson had 11 kills, Chesney Weber added seven kills and 23 assists, Keella Tracy recorded five kills and two blocks, Jaedyn Penning had 14 digs while Jerica Locke added 13 digs in the win.

For Ipswich, Marley Gutmiller recorded 14 kills, Brianna Geditz added 120 digs, Josie Knutson tallied 12 assists while Charli Rawden had seven digs in the loss.


Herreid-Selby Area 3, Mobridge-Pollock 0

SELBY — Herreid-Selby Area swept Mobridge-Pollock in high school volleyball Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-14 and 25-16.

HSA’s stats were not reported.

For MP, Blake Thompson had six kills and 23 digs, Jersey Frederick added four kills and 14 digs, Ellie Kemnitz had 14 assists while Tegan Konold recorded 20 digs in the loss.


Hamlin 3, Great Plains Lutheran 0

HAYTI — Class A No. 5 Hamlin swept Great Plains Lutheran during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-22, 25-15, and 25-12.

Hamlin’s Addie Neuendorf led with 15 kills and nine digs, Addie Jensen recorded seven kills and a block, Jade Thue recorded five kills. Issie Steffensen had 31 assists and two aces while Paxton Neuendorf and Jayci Trowbridge each had seven digs in the win.

For GPL, Kate Holmen had eight kills and two blocks, Lauren Hansen added six kills, Jolie Lien tallied 20 digs, Emily Moritz had 14 assists and two aces while Nylah Vanneli and Addison Walkins each had 10 digs in the loss.


Hills-Beaver Creek (Minn.) 3, Viborg-Hurley 1

VIBORG — Viborg-Hurley lost to Hills-Beaver Creek, Minnesota, during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-5, 14-25 and 25-12.

Olivia Hanson had six kills and three blocks for the Cougars, Lexi Wetering had 12 assists while Isabella Voog tallied 18 digs in the loss.


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Menno 0

MENNO — Tripp-Delmont/Armour swept Menno in high school volleyball action Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 25-12, and 25-16.

TDA’s Mia Reiner had seven kills and 11 digs, Ryenn Loneman had six kills and two digs, Kinley Spaans recorded 19 assists and 12 digs, Sara Bertram tallied nine digs and two kills, while Lily Blaine totaled three kills and four digs in the win.

For Menno, Lexie McNinch recorded six kills, five blocks and eight digs, Kylie Guthmiller added 13 digs and three kills while Madison Schaeffer collected 11 assists in the loss.


Gayville-Volin 3, Canistota 0

CANISTOTA — Gayville-Volin swept Canistota in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-17 and 25-11. 

GV’s Paisley Dimmer finished with 10 kills and four aces. Maia Achen totaled nine kills and 13 digs. Kayden Bye finished with six kills, while Aliza Westrum posted five kills and two aces. Jolie Westrum finished with 12 digs. Taylor Hoxeng posted nine digs. 

For Canistota, Ember Schenkel recorded 12 kills and one ace. Emma Sandman totaled five kills, 14 digs and three blocks. Ellie Becker finished with nine assists. Clara Remacle finished with 12 digs. 


Britton-Hecla 3, Tri-State (N.D.) 0

BRITTON — Britton-Hecla swept Tri-State in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-15, 25-8 and 25-9.

BH’s Maddi Micko and Abigail Lee finished with 11 kills apiece. Karlie Zuehlke recorded seven kills and five aces. Airiana Buer totaled four aces. Daynika Zuehlke had three aces, seven digs and one block. Ava Teveldal recorded nine digs. Jaelee Grupe posted 22 assists.


Milbank 3, Deuel 0

MILBANK — Milbank swept Deuel during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-22 and 25-17.

 Belle Pauli had 11 kills and 15 assists, Bailey Koepke tallied five kills, Kenzie Kooima had five kills and a block, Jacy Dexter tallied 19 digs, Avery Schuneman had 13 assists and two aces while Adison Paulie totaled 14 digs in the win.

For Deuel, Camdyn Peterreins had seven kills and eight digs, Lauryn Peterreins added five kills, Tory Egebretson netted three kills, Gracyn Gohring tallied 12 assists while Braylin Kreger had nine digs. Ella Kerkvliet also recorded 18 digs and three aces in the loss.


Highmore-Harrold 3, James Valley Christian 0

HIGHMORE — Highmore-Harrold swept James Valley Christian during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-14, and 25-17.

Emma Ferens and Addison McDonnell each had four kills, Tenley McDonnell recorded eight assists and three aces while Lainee Ping added 15 digs.

For JVC, Nave Gross had four kills, Kaitlyn Stahl had three kills, while Dara Olowu-Davies netted four assists in the loss.


Sioux Valley 3, Parker/Marion 0

VOLGA — Sioux Valley swept Parker/Marion in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-15 and 25-19. 

Sioux Valley’s Lacey Langland recorded 10 kills and two blocks. Sienna Weiss recorded five kills and two blocks. Maci Licht added eight kills. McKinley Schwab had 37 assists and two aces. Cameron Uecker totaled 28 assists. Talya Vincent and Emma Gorvin had 15 and 12 digs, respectively. 

Parker/Marion’s Paige Haase and Sarah Gullikson finished with six kills apiece. Lanae Waldner added five kills. Hannah Schaeffer recorded four aces and 10 assists, while Mara Mohr and Kallie Johnson posted three aces apiece. Braelyn Berens added 12 digs. 


Dakota Valley 3, Tri-Valley 0

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Class A No. 3 Dakota Valley swept Tri-Valley in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-11 and 25-10.

DV’s Claire Munch finished with 15 kills and two blocks. Sammy Kimball totaled eight kills, 10 digs and three aces. Corine Kimball recorded 18 digs. Aubree Worden finished with five kills and nine digs. Skylar Anderson added five kills. Maddie Munch totaled five blocks, 31 assists, 10 digs and four aces. 

For TV, Kadence Davey finished with nine digs. Brooke Steinecke had four kills, four digs, three assists and one block. Rowyn Gacke finished with six digs and one ace. Emry Jones and Brooklyn Ruth finished with five digs apiece. 


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Sioux Falls Lutheran 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 2 Sioux Falls Christian swept Sioux Falls Lutheran in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-6, 25-12 and 25-13. 

Sioux Falls Christian’s Allyra Dorhout recorded 10 kills and one block. Tavyn Sichmeller added nine kills, two aces and eight digs. Camdyn Mulder and Jayla Overman recorded six kills apiece. Overman had five aces. Meredith Nelson posted 31 assists. Aubrie Van Beek totaled three aces and eight digs. Ella Fluth finished with four kills and eight digs.

For SF Lutheran, Tessa VanGerpen and Madilyn Dinges had two kills apiece. Dinges added two blocks. Elyse Prouty finished with seven digs. Sophia Stubkjaer had six assists.


Brandon Valley 3, Sioux Falls O’Gorman 1

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 5 Brandon Valley defeated No. 3 O’Gorman during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 16-25, 25-20, 25-12 and 26-24.

For BV, Abby Gruber had 10 kills, Jayaunna Stroh had nine kills, Mya VanWesten totaled 15 digs, Riya Sheley had four blocks while Logan McGuire totaled 29 assists and three aces in the loss.
