Platte-Geddes 3, Burke 1

PLATTE — Trailing 24-21 in the fourth set, Class A No. 3 Platte-Geddes rallied past Class B No. 4 Burke to secure a Tuesday high school victory. The set scores were 25-22, 16-25, 25-9 and 26-24. 

Platte-Geddes’ Karly VanDerWerff finished with 14 kills, 11 digs, six blocks and two aces. Regan Hoffman added 13 kills, 11 digs, three aces and two blocks. Cadence VanZee recorded 11 kills, 18 digs, two aces and three blocks. Hadley Hanson added 12 digs, while Baleigh Nachtigal finished with three digs. 

Burke’s Adisyn Indahl posted 15 kills, seven digs, three assists and one block. Kailee Frank finished with 10 kills, 12 digs and two aces. Ava Sargent finished with 11 assists and 11 digs. Emmie Hausmann posted five kills and eight digs. Paige Bull recorded four kills, while Elly Witt recorded 13 assists, six digs and two aces. Elle Johnson finished with six assists and 17 digs. Olivia Bull added three digs.

Hanson 3, Bridgewater-Emery 2

ALEXANDRIA — Hanson edged Bridgewater-Emery in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 23-25, 25-21, 18-25 and 15-2.

Hanson’s Annalyse Weber finished with 11 kills and 15 digs. Kate Haiar added three kills and three blocks. Jersey Kampshoff recorded 33 digs and four aces. Jalyn Kampshoff finished with 29 assists and two aces. Erin Dewald and Kylie Haiar posted four kills apiece. Claire Bridge had nine digs, while Jazzlyn Campbell added two kills. 

BE’s Lexie Golder finished with nine kills and four blocks. Madison Fisk and Sierra Weber recorded six kills apiece. Hayden Hofer added 10 assists, 21 digs, two aces and two kills. Oakley Weber finished with 16 assists, 20 digs and four aces. Kennedie Roskens posted 24 digs. 

Northwestern 3, Leola/Frederick Area 0

MELLETTE — On a night with a pair of milestones, Class B No. 2 Northwestern swept Leola/Frederick Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-5, 25-5 and 25-10. 

Northwestern’s Ella Haven and Brooklinn Halvorson hit a pair of milestones in the sweep. Haven recorded her 1,000th career kill, while Halvorson notched her 2,000th career assist.

Haven finished with 18 kills, eight digs, three aces and one block. Halvorson dished out 22 assists, to go along with 10 digs and five aces. Payton Grandpre posted three aces and four assists. Ashley Haven added eight kills. 

Leola/Frederick Area’s Laura Sumption posted six digs, five kills and one ace. Sofia Losure added two kills and one ace. Jocelynn Ellwein finished with seven assists and Chloe Arneson added three digs. 


Chester Area 3, Parker 0

CHESTER — Class B No. 3 Chester Area swept Parker in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-4 and 25-12.

Chester Area’s Jacy Wolf finished with nine kills, six aces and seven assists. Lily VanHal added eight kills, six aces and 23 assists. Emmerson Eppard and Ashlynn Blecker each had blocks. Kaylor Geraets and Emery Larson posted nine and eight digs, respectively. 

Parker’s Terryn Fuller recorded three kills and six assists. Halle Berens added three kills and 29 digs. Clara Montero had two kills. Aspen Rand had 24 digs and one ace. Meah Wright added three assists. 


Miller 3, Redfield 0

MILLER — Miller swept Redfield in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-21 and 25-17.

Miller’s Ally Mullaney finished with 14 kills, while Tricia Lammers and Jaden Werdel had eight kills apiece. Werdel added 11 digs. Jolie Palmer recorded 18 digs and two aces. Tyra Gates dished out 29 assists. Ruby Carder and Aleah Schlechter had two aces apiece. Shaylee Anderberg had eight digs, while Abbi Blake had two solo blocks. 

Redfield’s Gracie Fast posted 10 kills and two aces. Chloe Zens and Ashlynn Clausen had 13 and 10 digs, respectively. Camryn Rohlfs had an ace. 


Mobridge-Pollock 3, Lemmon 1

LEMMON — Mobridge-Pollock picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Lemmon on Tuesday. The set scores were 24-26, 25-10, 25-9 and 25-7.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Emily Hatzenbuehler finished with 10 kills and four digs. Ryli Thompson added eight kills and five digs. Charley Henderson added eight kills and four aces. Grace Overland recorded seven kills. Emma Keller added six aces and 20 assists. Raelyn Aberle and Katy Kemnitz added two aces apiece. Kemnitz dished out 18 assists. Reagan Weisbeck recorded 25 digs. Gretchen Olson had 14 digs, while Aberle had 10 digs. Henderson and Thompson had six and five digs, respectively. 

Lemmon stats were not reported. 


Wolsey-Wessington 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 0

WOLSEY — Class B No. 3 Wolsey-Wessington swept Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-10 and 25-8.

WW’s Mya Boomsma finished with 10 kills and 10 digs. Leah Williams added 10 kills, while Mallory Miller posted six kills, five aces and three blocks. Taylor Horn added 24 assists and six digs. Kailynn Dorris finished with three blocks, while Lainey Uttecht posted seven digs and one ace. Emree White added an ace. 

SCW’s Kenna Ochsner and Kam Ochsner had five and three kills, respectively. Kam Ochnser posted one block. Kenlie Fridley finished with four assists. Bella Fry recorded 12 digs, while Bailey Feistner added nine digs. Kailynn Eggleston had an ace. 


Lower Brule 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 1 

MILLER — Lower Brule earned a four set win over Sunshine Bible Academy in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-17, 24-26, and 25-21.

SBA was led by Annaliese Van Zee with nine kills and two blocks, while Sadie Konechne had five kills and two aces. Lydia Lo tallied 10 assists, five digs, and four aces, while Betra Amare logged seven assists, five digs, and three aces.  

Lower Brule stats were not reported.


Kimball/White Lake 3, Corsica-Stickney 1

CORSICA — Kimball/White Lake topped Corsica-Stickney in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 16-25, 25-17, 25-21 and 25-21.

KWL’s Dani Deffenbaugh finished with 27 kills, 10 digs and three blocks. Ryann Nielsen logged 13 kills, 14 assists and two blocks. Harley Namanny added four kills, 11 assists, 12 digs and two blocks. 

Corsica-Stickney’s Payton DeLange finished with 11 kills, 14 digs and five aces. Jacey Kemp recorded 14 digs, four kills and three aces. Sophie DeLange added seven kills, three assists, two digs and two aces. Sutten Eide posted 21 assists, 11 digs, two aces and two kills. Brooklyn Bosma finished with two kills and two digs. Ashlyn Lefers added five digs and two assists. 


Colman-Egan 3, Canistota 0

COLMAN — Colman-Egan earned a three set win over Canistota in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-14, and 25-7.

Colman-Egan’s Brynlee Landis tallied eight kills and nine digs, while Kadance Landis also had eight kills. Abby Rhode and Daniela Lee each had six kills, while Lee also had 14 digs. Lanie Mousel recorded 16 assists and eight digs, while Ava Mousel added 14 assists.

Canistota’s Sierra McGregor led with five kills, while Bailey Spicer led with seven assists. Natalie Becker tallied 17 digs and two aces, while Kayla Papendick had seven digs and one ace. Natalee Hofer added five digs, four assists, and one ace.


Howard 3, Dell Rapids St. Mary 1 

HOWARD — Howard picked up a high school volleyball win over Dell Rapids St. Mary on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-23, 22-25, and 27-25.

Howard’s Kate Connor led with 17 kills and one block, while Abby Aslesen tallied seven kills, and two blocks. Piper Thompson logged 27 digs and six aces, while Canyon Kidd had 26 digs and five aces. Tana Hoyer added 26 assists.

Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Maya Heinitz tallied 18 kills, 14 digs, and three aces, while Ella Griffin had 13 kills. Josie Baumberger had nine digs, while Jaycee Tebay had five blocks. Brianna Lindeman added 33 assists.


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 0

ARMOUR — Tripp-Delmont/Armour swept Andes Central/Dakota Christian for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 25-15, and 25-16.

TDA’s Gracey Schatz led with 12 kills and 12 digs, while Megan Reiner tallied 12 kills and eight digs. Hannah Stremick logged 30 assists, five aces, and three kills, while Faith Goehring added 10 digs and one block.

AC/DC was led by Josei Brouwer with four kills, five assists, and seven digs, while Halle Olson had three kills. Mahpiyah Irving tallied 13 digs and three assists, while Ona’ka Doren had seven digs and two aces. Abigail Svatos, Nadia Van Zuidam, and Claire Johnson each had two kills, while Johnson also had six digs. Nevaeh Morgan added four digs.


Sioux Falls Lutheran 3, Centerville 1 

CENTERVILLE — Sioux Falls Lutheran picked up a high school volleyball win over Centerville on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-12, 23-25, 25-16, and 25-21.

SFL’s Emma Stubkjaer logged 11 kills and nine digs, while Kiersten Bjordahl tallied nine kills and six digs. Isabella Stubkjaer had five kills, 13 digs, and three aces, while Rylee Steuerwald had five kills and three digs. Sophie Stubkjaer recorded 24 assists and three aces, while Anika Bjordahl added four kills, three aces, two digs, and two blocks.

Centerville’s Bailey Hansen led with eight kills, 19 digs, and eight aces, while Thea Gust recorded seven kills and 11 digs. Rylie Tieman had six kills, while Lillie Eide had 14 digs. Mackenzie Meyer added eight digs, while Macey Hostetler added 23 assists, five digs, and four aces. 


Potter County 3, Ipswich 1

IPSWICH — Potter County defeated Ipswich in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 16-25, 25-18 and 25-19.

Potter County’s Tyler Simon finished with 12 kills and 15 assists. Zoe Meinke and Kayden Cronin recorded 11 kills apiece. Ashlee Kaup added 22 digs and five aces. Taylor Zweber posted 20 digs and three aces. 

Ipswich’s Gracie Lange recorded 14 kills and three aces. Baylee Kulesa added two aces, seven kills and 13 digs. Quincy Olivier posted 25 assists, while Vanesa Diaz added four kills. Madison Geditz had 18 digs. 


Faulkton Area 3, Highmore-Harrold 0

FAULKTON — Faulkton Area swept Highmore-Harrold for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-16, and 25-14.

Faulkton Area’s Addison Melius logged 12 kills and 14 digs, while Kelli Stoecker had seven kills. Gabby Kast tallied 23 assists, while Carley Cotton added 19 digs.

Highmore-Harrold’s Kendall Cermak and Addison McDonald each had three kills, while Reghan Westcott had one ace. Brooklyn Baloun added 11 assists. 


Aberdeen Christian 3, Waubay/Summit 1

WAUBAY —  Aberdeen Christian won a four set high school volleyball match over Waubay/Summit on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 14-25, 25-20, and 25-23.

Waubay/Summit’s Kylee Marx and Katie Karst each tallied seven kills, while Ava Breske and Liza Purdy added four and three kills, respectively. Katie Minder had three aces.

Aberdeen Christian's Chloe Bosma finished with 13 kills, while Emma Sand had four kills. Sophia Fogarty added four aces and Alexis Isakson had 36 digs for the Knights.


Arlington 3, Madison 0

MADISON — Arlington swept Madison in straight sets in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-16, 25-18 and 25-20.

Arlington’s Harley Johnson finished with 10 kills and 13 digs. Natalie Burns added eight kills and 20 digs. Morgan Larson logged three aces, while Tanaya Wiess added 29 assists. 

Madison’s Audrey Nelson posted 15 kills and three blocks. Megan Schouwenburg recorded six kills. Karley Theede added one ace, 10 assists and 13 digs. Maycee Theede posted 18 digs. Amanda Vacanti added 10 assists, while Ellie Osthus had one block. 


Deubrook Area 3, Deuel 0

CLEAR LAKE — Deubrook Area recorded 15 aces and swept Deuel in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-10, 25-9 and 25-11. 

Deubrook Area’s Zoey Molengraaf finished with seven kills. Brooke Koppatschek added six kills and nine assists. Ellie Koenig finished with six assists and four aces. Miranda Moravetz added six aces. Delaney Pedersen and Taylor Ekern finished with 10 and six digs, respectively. 

Deuel’s Harley Hennings finished with six kills and McKenna Olson added three kills. Josie Andersen posted nine assists and five digs. Annika Kriz finished with 17 digs. Gracie Fieber posted four assists, while Isabel Schake added five digs. Emma Sattler had one ace and one block. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 3, Beresford 0 

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson swept Beresford in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-23, and 25-12.

EPJ was led by Danica Torrez with six kills and nine digs, while Alyssa Chytka led with 18 digs. Ashley Brewer, Josie Curry, and Natalie Heuertz each had four kills. Heuertz added four blocks, while Curry and Brewer added three blocks. Bentlee Kollbaum logged five kills and nine digs, while Sophia Giorgio added 19 assists, five digs, three kills, and two aces.

Beresford’s Megan DeLay and Savannah Beeson each had four kills, while Maddie Erickson and Irelyn Fickbohm had three kills apiece. Rachel Zanter logged 10 digs, while Larissa Tiedeman added 10 assists.  


McCook Central/Montrose 3, Flandreau 1

FLANDREAU — McCook Central/Montrose recorded a four-set high school volleyball win over Flandreau on Tuesday. The set scores were 20-25, 25-13, 25-10 and 25-20.

MCM’s Tayah McGregor finished with 13 kills and four aces. Brandy Pulse added 10 kills and 13 digs. Brianna Even and Maddy Lauck finished with 17 and 15 assists, respectively. Lauck added three aces. Aubree Kranz finished with 17 digs, while Michaela McCormick posted 13 digs. 

Flandreau’s Claire Sheppard finished with nine kills and one block. Lizzie Pavlis recorded seven kills and one block. Abby Schoberl finished with 25 assists and 15 digs. Ella Hoffman had nine assists and Lily Klein added 14 digs. 


Viborg-Hurley 3, Menno 1

VIBORG — Viborg-Hurley downed Menno in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-19, 25-13, 23-25 and 25-21.

Viborg-Hurley’s Denae Mach finished with 18 kills and 20 digs. Coral Mason posted 16 kills and seven digs. Mataya Vannorsdel had four aces and Jenna Graves added three aces. Graves recorded 13 digs, while Vannorsedel added 11 digs and 35 assists. Charley Nelson finished with 27 digs, while Estelle Lee recorded 10 digs. Addison Huth had a solo block. 

Menno’s Ashton Massey finished with 12 kills, while Josephine Stokes had eight kills. Alana Fergen dished out 13 assists and had six digs. Abby Bender logged eight digs and seven assists. Maggie Miller finished with 16 digs, while Madelyn Kludt had nine digs. Joslynn Fischer finished with nine digs, two assists and two aces. Julia Buechler recorded 13 digs, two kills and two aces. Taylor Freier had five digs. 


Sioux Valley 3, Milbank 0

VOLGA — Sioux Valley racked up 33 kills in a three-set sweep over Milbank in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20.

Sioux Valley’s Landree Wilson finished with 12 kills and three digs. Adison Renkly added eight kills, six digs and six block assists. Ashley Bjerke and Kaedyn Sapp had six kills apiece, while Sapp added 23 digs. Berke logged eight digs and two aces. Talya Vincent finished with 18 digs. Bjerke and Sunny Hesby finished with 14 and 13 assists, respectively. 

Milbank’s Rachel Schulte posted eight kills and nine digs. Hallie Schulte recorded 15 digs and Averie Engebretson posted 11 digs. Engebretson chipped in with 13 assists and Rachel Schulte added nine digs. Addisyn Krause posted seven digs, while Emily Jo Wollschlager finished with six digs. 


Webster Area 3, Wilmot 0

WILMOT — Webster Area swept Wilmot in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-18 and 25-20.

Wilmot’s Ashlyn Ebben finished with four kills and five aces. Kayla Hamman recorded three kills, while Jada Cameron and Stacia Redday had two aces apiece. 

Webster Area stats were not reported. 


Dakota Valley 3, West Central 0

NORTH SIOUX CITY —  Class A No. 2 Dakota Valley swept West Central for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-8, 25-6, and 25-10.

DV’s Sophie Tuttle led with 12 kills, while Addie Kleis tallied seven kills. Claire Munch recorded six kills and seven digs, while Jorja VanDenHul had five kills, four aces, and two blocks. Logan Miller had 29 assists, while Kate VanRoyan and Reagan VanRoyan had 20 and eight digs, respectively.

West Central’s Marissa Dobbs had four kills, while Aubree Miller had five digs and two kills. Jocelyn Nilson tallied six digs, while Ellie Lienhard added five assists.


Florence/Henry 3, Sisseton 0 

FLORENCE — Florence/Henry swept Sisseton for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 25-7, and 25-11.

Florence/Henry was led by Caylin Kelly with 15 kills, while Taylor Watson tallied nine kills. Reese Schmidt recorded 31 assists and two aces, while Trinity Watson had eight kills. Macey Lane and Karli Sharp added 26 and 13 digs, respectively.

Sisseton stats were not reported.


Sioux Falls Washington 3, Harrisburg 2 

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 3 Sioux Falls Washington outlasted Class AA No. 2 Harrisburg in five sets in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were  25-15, 22-25, 25-15, 23-25, and 15-12.

Harrisburg’s Morissen Samuels led with 16 kills and two blocks, while Kaelyn Snoozy logged 15 kills, 22 digs, and six aces. Gabrielle Zachariasen had 14 kills, while Maggie Meister led with 30 digs. Kayleigh Hybertson tallied 36 assists, while Karalynn Leach added two blocks.

Sioux Falls Washington stats were not reported.


Brookings 3, Mitchell 2

BROOKINGS — Brookings outlasted Mitchell for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 22-25, 15-25, 25-15, 25-21, and 15-11.

Brookings was led by Tayla Dobrenski with 15 kills and three aces, while Gracie Adamson stuffed the stat sheet with 13 kills, 27 assists, 15 digs, five aces, and three blocks. Gracey Sheridan tallied nine kills, three aces, and three blocks, while Kymber Buys logged 24 assists and 12 digs. Morgan Linstad had 21 digs, while Tess Burns had four blocks. Sydney Bebensee added three aces.

Sioux Falls Lincoln 3, Yankton 0

YANKTON — Sioux Falls Lincoln swept Yankton in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-11, and 25-16.

Yankton’s Ava Koller tallied nine kills and 14 digs, while Peyton Moser had 13 digs. Camille McDermott added 17 assists and 10 digs.
