Deubrook Area 3, Deuel 0 

WHITE — Deubrook Area swept Deuel in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-5, 25-16 and 25-22.

Deubrook Area’s Peyton Trooien finished with 11 kills, while Chloe Haines added seven kills. Brynlee Hanson and Carly Engelstad had three kills apiece. Kylee Johnson had two aces, 14 assists and nine digs. MaKenna Ekern posted 11 assists and eight digs. Neely Gustad had 13 digs. Maddie Schulte had three aces. Hanson added four blocks.

For Deuel, Lauryn Peterreins had eight kills and one ace. Alayna Carlson finished with five kills. Kamryn Kreger and Camdyn Peterreins posted three kills apiece. Gracyn Gohring had 10 assists and Braylin Kreger posted eight assists. Ella Kerkvliet had 25 digs. Kreger added nine digs. Camdyn Peterreins added seven digs. 


Wagner 3, Bon Homme 0

WAGNER — Wagner swept Bon Homme in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-19, 25-6 and 25-16.

Wagner’s Hannah Holzbauer finished with 11 kills, nine aces and six digs. Ravyn Medricky totaled nine kills, two aces and one block. Ashlyn Koupal added eight kills and four aces. Libby Kotab posted eight digs and four aces. Braxton Nedved totaled 29 assists. 

For Bon Homme, Taycee Ranek finished with 10 kills and two aces. Catherine Uecker finished with two kills and eight digs. Olivia Kaul had two aces. Jersie Schonebaum had 10 assists.


Burke 3, Platte-Geddes 1

BURKE — Class B No. 4 Burke outlasted Platte-Geddes in four sets during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-20, 23-25 and 25-23.

Emmie Hausmann had 20 kills for Burke, Brianna Davis tallied 11 kills and five aces, Emmy Spencer recorded four kills, 16 digs and 13 assists and two blocks, Kyrie Matucha and Breckynn Pistulka each had 15 digs, including 12 assists from Pistulka, while Daytona Paris added two blocks in the win as well.

For PG, Kori VanDerWerff had 15 kills and 18 digs, Ava Olson totaled six kills and one block, Kolbi Hoffman added 17 digs, one block and one ace, while Taylor Shrank had 15 digs in the loss.


Miller 3, Redfield 0

MILLER — Miller swept Redfield in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-13 and 25-14.

Miller’s Kate Lichty finished with eight kills, while Paige Werdel added five digs, six kills and one ace. Kaihlyn Anderberg totaled five kills and one ace. Gracen Werdel finished with three kills. Jolie Palmer had eight digs. Emma Pugh totaled six digs and one ace. 

Redfield’s Ceci Suchor and Hayden Gall finished with three kills apiece. Kinley Smith finished with two kills. Gall had one ace. Smith had four blocks. Gall posted one block. Layla Hardie and Gall had two assists. Hardie added seven digs. Katryn Evans finished eight digs and Charli Jungwirth posted six digs.


Sioux Valley 3, Milbank 1

MILBANK — Sioux Valley defeated Milbank in four sets during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-14, 22-25 and 25-11.

SV’s Maci Licht had 16 kills and three blocks, Lacey Langland had 10 kills, Aby Degen recorded seven kills, McKinley Schwab had 19 assists, Machaela Gerasch dished out 18 assists, Talya Vincent totaled 24 digs while Liberty Trygstad added 13 digs and two aces in the win.

For Milbank, Zora Henrich had nine kills, Belle Pauli, Avery Schuneman and Addison Paulli each had four kills, Schuneman tallied 14 digs while Jacy Dexter totaled 13 digs. Schuneman also dished out nine assists in the loss for the Bulldogs.


Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Iroquois/Lake Preston 0

IROQUOIS — Hitchcock-Tulare swept Iroquois/Lake Preston in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-13 and 25-21.

HT’s Rebecca Huizenga finished with 21 kills and three aces. Cora Hofer added one block and 12 kills, while Tess Bixler added four kills. Gracyn Bixler finished with 35 assists and 13 digs. Emmerie Arthurs totaled two blocks, three aces and 17 digs. Cambree Hoekman had 19 digs. 

ILP’s Bentlee Holt finished with seven kills, while Hadlee Holt added four kills, one ace and six blocks. Sydney Bonomi had 14 assists and 12 digs. 


Faulkton Area 3, Highmore-Harrold 1

HIGHMORE — Faulkton Area defeated Highmore-Harrold in a four-set high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-20, 21-25, 25-18 and 25-15.

Faulkton Area’s Presleigh Martinmaas finished with 13 kills and two blocks. Anika Mueller totaled 16 kills and 18 digs. Austina Sorensen had 16 digs. Claire Cotton posted 35 assists, one ace and three blocks. Raegan Geditz posted two aces.

HH’s Jada Baloun finished with 10 kills. Addie McDonnell posted seven kills and one block. Tenley McDonnell tallied 18 digs. Lainee Ping posted 16 digs. Callie Chavez added one ace. Carly Stephenson had 14 assists and Tenley McDonnell posted 12 assists. 


Corsica-Stickney 3, Kimball/White Lake 1

CORSICA — Corsica-Stickney defeated Kimball/White Lake in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-16, 21-25 and 25-13.

Corsica-Stickney’s Braylee Bordewyk finished with 16 kills and 16 assists. Sophie DeLange had five aces, 11 kills and 14 digs. Remi Nelson recorded 11 assists. Hadynn Johnson totaled 18 digs. Cali Vanden Hoek posted 14 digs. Johnson added two blocks. Remi Nelson had four aces.

For KWL, Kyza Johnson finished with 11 kills and two blocks. Rylee McCord had seven kills and two aces. Mariah Gosmire totaled 15 assists. Sienna Gillen added 24 digs.


Sunshine Bible Academy 3, Lower Brule 0

MILLER — Sunshine Bible Academy swept Lower Brule during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-10 and 29-27.

Ciera Mickelson and Dakota Boersma each had eight kills for the Crusaders, while Soleil Mickelson added seven. Kalyn Sarchet dished out 15 assists. Boersma had 14 digs and three aces as well, Ciera Mickelson totaled 17 digs and seven aces, while Soleil Mickelson recorded 11 digs and three aces in the win.

LB’s stats were not reported.


Avon 3, Irene-Wakonda 0 

AVON — Avon swept Irene-Wakonda in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-10 and 25-10.

Avon’s Rilyn Thury posted 18 kills and nine digs, while Kaydence Metzger had five kills, three aces and 10 digs. Jordyn Voigt totaled nine digs and Brielle Voigt had three aces and 25 assists. 

IW’s Paige O’Daniel finished with five kills, two aces and one block. Addison Brockmueller had five kills. Reagan Rudd posted 15 assists, eight digs and two aces. Maryn Lyngstad had nine digs. 


Lyman 3, Wall 0 

PRESHO — Lyman swept Wall in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 25-21 and 25-22.

Lyman’s Mak Scott finished with 10 kills, 13 digs, two blocks and two aces. Jordyn Scott added nine kills and 15 digs. Claire Griffith had five kills and 11 digs. Kenzie Wagner added four kills and 26 digs. Bree Smart added 23 assists, five aces and three kills. Brooke Montgomery added three aces, nine digs and two kills. 

Wall stats were not reported. 


Wolsey-Wessington 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 1 

FORESTBURG — Wolsey-Wessington defeated Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 22-25, 25-15 and 25-13.

WW’s Timber Haeder finished with 21 kills and 11 digs. Maria Nelson recorded 10 kills, eight digs and two aces. Preslie Jensen totaled five kills, four blocks, one assist, one ace and one dig. Marley Boomsma had four kills and three blocks. Lily Hoverson had three kills and three blocks. Kendal Uttecht totaled 46 assists, two kills, two aces and one block. Shae Uttecht finished with 27 digs and two assists, while Taylor Eichstadt had 11 digs. 

For SCW, Hudson Fauberg posted 23 digs. Addison Bartholow totaled 11 digs and nine kills. Kali Hofer had two kills, eight digs, 15 assists and two aces. Liz Boschee had 11 kills, seven digs and three blocks. Kenzie Baruth had 11 digs, one ace and seven kills. 


Northwestern 3, Leola/Frederick Area 0

FREDERICK — Class B No. 2 Northwestern swept Leola/Frederick Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-11 and 25-8.

Northwestern’s Ella Boekelheide finished with 22 assists and recorded her 1,000th career dig. She added four aces and two blocks. Ashley Haven had eight kills. Kylee Henjum and Breelyn Satter had six kills apiece. Sophia Troske and Lila Johnson had seven aces apiece. Johnson added four assists. Satter had 10 digs and Tara Blachford posted six digs. 

Leola/Frederick Area stats were not reported. 


Colman-Egan 3, Canistota 0 

CANISTOTA — Colman-Egan swept Canistota in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-19 and 25-15. 

CE’s Brynlee Landis finished with 15 kills and five digs, while Caelee LeBrun posted 10 kills and five aces. Finley Luze added two blocks and 18 assists. Kinley Geigle posted six aces. Michoen Williamson finished with five blocks.

For Canistota, Ember Schenkel finished with nine kills, two aces and 12 digs. Adrian DeHaan had two kills and one block. Ellie Becker had nine assists and six digs. Abby Keller finished with eight digs. Haley McGregor totaled two blocks. Sophie Kostboth posted two blocks. 


North Central 3, Sully Buttes 0

ONIDA — North Central swept Sully Buttes in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-14 and 25-14.

NC’s Amree VanderVorst finished with 12 kills and 10 digs. Ella Batie finished with two blocks, seven kills and seven digs. Camryn Witlock posted 15 assists and seven digs. Sydnee Malsam posted 11 digs. Alaina Dosch added 13 digs. 

Sully Buttes stats were not reported. 


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Elk Point-Jefferson 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 2 Sioux Falls Christian swept Elk Point-Jefferson in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-12 and 25-14.

Christian’s Tavyn Sichmeller finished with 11 kills, seven digs and two aces. Jayla Overman posted seven kills, two digs and one ace. Camdyn Mulder tallied nine kills and two digs. Allyra Dorhout added eight kills. Jasmine Vander Haar had 12 digs and Aubrie Van Beek posted eight digs. Meredith Nelson tallied 34 assists and five digs. Kinzie Poppema had four kills. 

For EPJ, Kate Hayes finished with six kills and two blocks. Paige Jacobs totaled three kills and one block. Molly Geary tallied 19 digs. Laney Trometer and Cera Schmitz had 10 digs apiece. Trometer added 14 assists. 


Harrisburg 3, Sioux Falls Washington 0

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 1 Harrisburg swept Sioux Falls Washington in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-9 and 25-19.

Harrisburg’s Gabi Zachariasen finished with 16 kills, eight digs and three aces. Bergen Stiff tallied nine kills. Lindsay Langner and Emma Masselink had two aces apiece. Langner added 13 digs. Josalyn Samuels totaled 34 assists and one block. Kya Keegan had one block.

Washington’s Aubrielle Perry had five kills. Jade Jere and Jersey Peterson had four kills apiece. Emily Akkerman had eight assists and Meagan McCloskey added seven assists. Peterson posted two blocks. Dana Harpe had seven digs and Jere had six digs. Hannah Nesdahl tallied two aces.
