COLOME — Lyman edged Colome in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 19-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-19 and 15-6.

Platte-Geddes 3, Wagner 1

WAGNER — Platte-Geddes earned a four-set high school volleyball win over Class A No. 3 Wagner. The set scores were 19-25, 25-19, 25-23 and 25-20.

Platte-Geddes’ Karly VanDerWerff finished with 18 kills, 23 digs and two blocks. Regan Hoffman added 16 digs and five aces. Cadence VanZee logged 11 kills, 17 digs and four aces. Avery DeVries finished with 41 assists and five aces. Baleigh Nachtigal added 17 digs and four assists. 

Wagner’s Emma Yost and Avari Bruguier had nine kills apiece. Yost added 20 digs, while Bruguier finished with 13 digs. Kya Kjeldgaard logged seven kills and three blocks. Madi Knebel had five blocks, while Shona Kocer added seven blocks. Macy Koupal dished out 30 assists. Shalayne Nagel added three aces. 

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Corsica-Stickney 2

CORSICA — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket outlasted Corsica-Stickney in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-23, 19-25, 24-26 and 15-9.

SCW’s Kam Ochsner finished with 13 kills, 11 digs and five aces. Kailynn Eggleston logged 11 kills and 12 digs, while Ellie Evans had 11 kills and 10 digs. Kenlie Fridley added 19 assists, 12 digs and two aces. Bailey Feistner posted 17 assists and 17 digs, while she added two kills and two aces. 

Corsica-Stickney’s Payton DeLange recorded 17 kills, eight digs and four aces. Ashlyn Lefers added eight kills and 11 digs. Jacey Kemp recorded seven kills, eight digs and two aces. Brooklyn Bosma had five kills and seven digs. Sutten Eide logged 36 assists, eight digs and three aces. Cali Vanden Hoek recorded 16 digs and six aces. 

Chester Area 3, Baltic 0

CHESTER — Class B No. 3 Chester Area swept Baltic in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-17 and 25-19.

Chester Area’s Serena Larson logged 11 kills, while Addison Bates posted nine kills and three blocks. Lily VanHal added 25 assists and four aces. Jacy Wolf finished with nine assists, two aces and 17 digs. Emery Larson logged 13 digs and two aces. 

Baltic’s Baily Teveldal finished with three blocks, 10 kills and 11 assists. Peylen Krull logged five kills. Jacie Wendland finished with nine assists and two aces. Alyx Dobbins added four blocks. Daynica Witzel and Madison Kennedy had 10 and nine digs, respectively. 

Freeman 3, Centerville 0

CENTERVILLE — Freeman picked up a three-set high school volleyball win over Centerville on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-10, 25-11 and 25-13.

Freeman’s Kate Miller finished with 15 kills and nine digs. Ashlin Jacobsen added 10 kills, 10 digs and two aces. Erin Uecker logged nine digs, seven kills and two blocks. Cami Fransen posted 19 assists, 11 digs and three aces. Ella Waltner posted seven kills and six digs. Ava Andersen logged 17 assists and two aces. Zenovia Butler finished with four digs and five aces. 

Centerville’s Thea Gust logged six kills and three digs. Macey Hostetler added 12 assists and five digs. Bailey Hansen finished with six digs and two kills. Ruby Kirk added five digs, while Keira Austin had three digs and one kill. 

Bridgewater-Emery 3, Menno 2

MENNO — Bridgewater-Emery edged Menno in a high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 19-25, 25-20, 25-20, 18-25, and 15-13.

Bridgewater-Emery’s Lexi Golder recorded 11 kills, four digs, and two aces, while Madison Fisk tallied 13 digs and eight kills. Hayden Hofer finished with 10 assists, eight digs, five aces, adn five kills, while Oakley Weber had 19 digs, 14 assists, and three kills. Kennedie Roskens added 24 digs.

Menno’s Josephine Stokes tallied 10 kills, while Ashton Massey had eight kills and three blocks. Julia Buechler recorded 15 digs and five kills, while Madelyn Kludt also had 15 digs. Alana Fergen finished with 12 assists, while Maggie Miller and Halle VanHove added 12 and eight digs, respectively. 

Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Avon 0

AVON — Tripp/Delmont/Armour swept Avon in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 26-24, 25-16, and 25-20.

TDA’s Megan Reiner had 14 kills, six digs, and two aces, while Gracey Schatz tallied 10 kills, seven digs, four aces, and two blocks. Hannah Stremick added 23 assists and two aces.

Avon’s Coutrney Sees led with 14 kills and 12 digs, while Lila Vanderlei finished with 11 digs. Grace Vanderlei tallied 10 digs, while McKenna Kochmich added 16 assists.

McCook Central/Montrose 3, Sioux Valley 2

VOLGA — McCook Central/Montrose outlasted Sioux Valley in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 21-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-19 and 15-11.

MCM’s Tayah McGregor posted 18 kills and six digs. Brandy Pulse logged 14 kills and 17 digs. Michaela McCormick finished with 11 kills and 10 digs. Aubree Kranz finished with 36 digs. Kayla Vander Woude had two blocks. 

Sioux Valley’s Renkly Adison finished with 14 kills, five aces and nine digs. Kaedyn Sapp logged seven kills and 20 digs. Talya Vincent finished with 21 digs, while Sunny Hesby added 17 digs. Ashley Bjerke finished with seven digs and six kills. 

Elk Point-Jefferson 3, West Central 0

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson swept West Central in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-19, and 25-17.

EPJ’s Bentlee Kollbaum had 10 kills, 16 digs, and two aces, while Danica Torrez tallied eight kills and 18 digs. Alyssa Chytka finished with 16 digs and five assists. Josie Curry and Natalie Heuertz each had six kills, while Heuertz also had three blocks. Sophia Giorgio added 23 assists and seven digs.

West Central’s Jocelyn Nilson recorded 17 digs, while Aubree Miller tallied four kills and Elli Lienhard added four assists.

Howard 3, Hanson 1 

HOWARD — Howard topped Hanson in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 14-25, 25-18, 25-23 and 25-17.

Howard’s Kate Connor finished with 18 kills and one block. Landree Callies logged seven kills, while Abby Aslesen finished with six kills, two aces and two blocks. Rylee Rudebusch posted 31 assists and Piper Thompson added 29 digs. Canyon Kidd logged 13 digs. Tana Hoyer finished with two aces and three assists.

Hanson’s Annalyse Weber finished with 17 kills and 19 digs, while Kylie Haiar added 10 kills. Kate Haiar finished with seven digs. Claire Bridge finished with 19 digs and four aces, while Cadence Jarding added 14 digs. Jersey Kampshoff added 10 digs and Jalyn Kampshoff posted 29 assists. 

Deubrook Area 3, Flandreau 1

FLANDREAU — Deubrook Area picked up a high school volleyball win over Flandreau on Tuesday. The set scores were 29-27, 18-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Deubrook Area’s Zoey Molengraaf had seven kills and four blocks, while Miranda Moravetz had 28 digs and six kills. Delaney Pedersen collected 21 digs, while Brooke Koppatschek tallied 13 assists, five kills, and two blocks.

Flandreau’s Claire Sheppard led with 18 kills and four blocks, while Lizzlie Pavlis had eight kills and four blocks. Lily Klein also had eight kills, while Abby Schoeberl finished with 39 assists. Addy Hammer and Sadie Iott recorded 28 and 26 digs, respectively.

Tiospa Zina 3, Waubay/Summit 1

WAUBAY — Tiospa Zina earned a high school volleyball win over Waubay/Summit on Tuesday.

The set scores were 23-25, 25-18, 25-12, and 26-24.

Waubay/Summit’s Kylee Marx led with eight kills and three aces, while Katie Karst finished with four kills. Hollie O’Riley tallied five aces and Ava Breske had two kills. Liza Purdy and Aubrey Strang each had two aces.

Tiospa Zina stats were not reported.

Highmore-Harrold 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

HIGHMORE — Highmore-Harrold swept Sunshine Bible Academy in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-13, 25-15, and 25-15.

Highmore-Harrold’s Addison McDonnell tallied nine kills, while Brooke Palmer and Reghan Westcott finished with seven and six kills, respectively. Brooklyn Baloun recorded 22 assists and six aces, while Kenidey Effling added three aces.

SBA’s Anna Van Zee recorded five blocks and Lydia Lo had two blocks. Abby Hinman added two aces.

Aberdeen Roncalli 3, Florence/Henry 1

ABERDEEN — Aberdeen Roncalli earned a high school volleyball win over Florence/Henry on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-23, 21-25, 25-21, and 28-26.

Florence/Henry’s Macey Lane led with 14 kills, while Caylin Kelly, Taylor Watson, and Trinity Watson each had 10 kills. Kelly added 24 digs, eight blocks, and 1 ace, while Trinity Watson added five blocks. Reese Schmidt tallied 36 assists and Karli Sharp added 23 digs.

Aberdeen Roncalli stats were not reported.

Warner 3, Miller 1

WARNER — Class B No. 1 Warner outlasted Miller for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-13, 25-23, 23-25, and 25-22.

Miller’s Ally Mullaney tallied 14 kills and two aces, while Tyra Gates led with 17 digs and 29 assists. Jolie Palmer and Journey Palmer recorded 13 digs apiece, while Jaden Werdel had seven digs and four kills. Abbi Blake finished with six kills, while Ruby Carder had three aces.

Faulkton Area 3, Hitchcock-Tulare 0

FAULKTON — Faulkton Area defeated Hitchcock-Tulare in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-8, 25-12, and 25-21.

Faulkton Area’s Addison Melius tallied 12 kills, while Kelli Stoecker added seven kills. Gabby Kast recorded 27 assists, nine digs, and three aces, while Carley Cotton added eight digs and four aces. 

Hitchcock-Tulare’s Presley Binger recorded nine assists, while Rebecca Huizenga and Ella Johnson tallied five and three kills, respectively.

Mobridge-Pollock 3, North Central 0

EUREKA — Mobridge-Pollock swept North Central in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-19, 25-11 and 25-10.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Ryli Thompson finished with seven kills, while Emma Keller logged six kills and four aces. Keller added 12 assists, while Katy Kemnitz had seven assists. Mariah Goehring added five kills and two aces. Charley Henderson recorded six kills. Reagan Weisbeck finished with 18 digs. 

North Central stats were not reported. 

Ipswich 3, Sully Buttes 1

IPSWICH — Ipswich picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Sully Buttes on Tuesday. The set scores were 24-26, 25-15, 25-16 and 25-20.

Sully Buttes’ Gracie Lange finished with 16 kills and three block assists. Baylee Kulesa and Quincy Olivier finished with seven and six kills, respectively. Olivier dished out 27 assists and had four aces. Kulesa had four aces and 11 digs. Vanesa Diaz had 18 digs. 

Sully Buttes stats were not reported. 

Sioux Falls Christian 3, Madison 0 

MADISON — Class A No. 3 Sioux Falls Christian swept Madison in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-14 and 25-12.

Sioux Falls Christian’s Ellie Lemslogged 12 kills, three aces and three blocks. Peyton Poppema added nine kills and 12 digs. Sidney Oostra had 10 digs, while Addison Barber dished out 32 assists. 

Madison’s Audrey Nelson finished with 11 kills and four blocks. Megan Schouwenburg recorded nine digs and two kills. Maycee Theede had 14 digs, while Amanda Vacanti added 10 assists. 

Pierre 3, Mitchell 0 

PIERRE — Class AA No. 4 Pierre swept Mitchell in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-22, 25-19 and 25-15.

Pierre’s Ayvrie Kaiser had 19 kills, while Campbell Boddicker finished with six kills. Reese Terwilliger added five kills. 

Mitchell’s Lizzie Tyler and Sawyer Stoebner logged seven kills apiece. 

Sioux Falls Washington 3, Sioux Falls Jefferson 2

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 5 Sioux Falls Washington edged Class AA No. 3 Sioux Falls Jefferson in a five-set marathon high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 17-25, 25-19, 25-22, 20-25 and 16-14.

Sioux Falls Jefferson’s Ella Kvernmo finished with 12 kills and three aces. Taylor Evenson finished with 10 kills and two blocks, while Emory Brosnahan added nine kills. Cora Hokenstad logged 30 digs, while Presly Pastian posted three aces, 15 digs and 16 assists. Kendall Kniffen finished with 13 digs. Averi Schmitt added 24 assists. Nancy Peter had four blocks.
