Spearfish 3, Rapid City Christian 2

RAPID CITY — Spearfish outlasted Class A No. 4 Rapid City Christian in a five-set marathon volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-15, 19-25, 22-25, 25-17 and 15-8. 


Miller 3, Warner 2

MILLER — Miller defeated Class B No. 2 Warner in a five-set thriller during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-22, 18-25, 16-25, 25-23 and 15-8.

Miller’s Paige Werdel had 11 kills, 16 digs, an ace and four blocks, Emma Pugh recorded 10 kills and 13 digs, Gracen Werdel had nine kills and 28 assists, Kaihlyn Anderberg had seven kills, 12 digs and three blocks, while Jolie Palmer recorded 28 digs in the win.

Warner’s Jaycee Jung had 16 kills and 25 digs, Courtney Leidholt had nine kills, Reagan Wood tallied 19 assists and three aces while Tatum Hanson recorded 21 assists. Keira Steger netted 20 digs while Miah Leiidholt had six blocks in the loss.


Corsica-Stickney 3, Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 1

ARTESIAN — Cali VandenHoek recorded her 1,000th career dig as Corsica-Stickney defeated Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Tuesday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-22, 25-27 and 27-25.

Braylee Bordewyk had 19 kills, 22 assists, 20 digs and three aces, Vanden Hoek had 21 digs and two aces, Sophie DeLange recorded 18 kills, Hadynn Johnson had five kills and four aces, while Remi Nelson dished out 15 assists in the win.

For SCW, Liz Boschee had 12 kills and two blocks, Addison Bartholow had five kills, three aces and six assists, Kali Hofer dished out 11 assists while Hudson Fouberg had 22 digs in the loss.


Mobridge-Pollock 3, North Central 1

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock topped North Central in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-23, 18-25 and 25-23.

MP’s Blake Thompson and Jayda Thompson totaled 12 kills apiece. Pacey Konold and Jersey Frederick had six kills apiece. Ellie Kemnitz recorded 16 assists and Avery Schlomer totaled 15 assists. Tegan Konold recorded 22 digs, while Frederick had 19 digs. Blake Thompson added 14 digs. Jayda Thompson had 12 digs and Kemnitz totaled nine digs. Pacey Konold had two solo blocks. 

For North Central, Ambree VanderVorst finished with 22 digs, 10 kills, two aces and one block. Lindsey Geier recorded nine kills and two aces. Sydnee Malsam had three aces. Ella Batie posted seven kills and one block. Camryn Witlock and Ashton Heyne had 15 and 10 assists, respectively. Alaina Dosch totaled 20 digs. 


Dakota Valley 3, Beresford 0

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Class A No. 3 Dakota Valley swept Beresford during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-6, 25-6, and 25-7.

DV’s Claire Munch had 11 kills, nine digs, nine aces and two blocks, Sammy Kimball tallied seven kills and six digs, Corine Kimball added 14 digs and three aces, Maddie Munch added 27 assists while Aubrey Worden and Jaidyn Jund each had five kills in the win.

Beresford’s stats were not reported.


Northwestern 3, Herreid-Selby Area 0

MELLETTE — Class B No. 3 Northwestern swept Herreid-Selby Area in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-6, 25-22 and 25-14.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven had 16 kills, 13 digs, three blocks and four aces, Breelyn Sattwe tallied nine kills, Lila Johnson recorded seven kills, five aces, seven assists and 10 digs, while Ella Boekelheide dished out 24 assists, 11 digs and two aces in the win.

For HSA, Breanna Jochim totaled five kills, eight digs and an ace, Jordyn Rossow had three kills, 14 digs, four aces and three blocks, Alyssa Kaup added 12 digs while Katie Allbee led the Wolverines with 12 assists in the loss.


De Smet 3, Deuel 0

CLEAR LAKE — De Smet swept Deuel during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-16 and 25-15.

Hazel Luethmers tallied 16 kills and four blocks for the Bulldogs, Ivey Schoenfelder added eight kills, Brooke Jennings recorded six kills, Megan Dylla dished out 31 assists and eight digs, Harper Anderson tallied 14 digs while Aubree Blue had 12 digs and three aces in the win.

For Deuel, Camdyn Peterreins and Alayna Carlson each had three kills, Lauryn Pettereins tallied two kills, Braylin Kreger dished out six assists, Gracyn Gohring totaled four assists while Ella Kerkvliet led the team with seven digs.


Lyman 3, Colome 0

PRESHO — Lyman swept Colome in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-22 and 25-11.

Lyman’s Jordyn Scott finished with nine kills and five aces. Claire Griffith and Brooke Montgomery added four kills and two aces apiece. Bree Smart posted 18 assists and four aces. Mak Scott and Kenzie Wagner had two kills apiece. Josie Jessop added four aces.

Colome stats were not reported. 


Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Faulkton Area 0

TULARE — Hitchcock-Tulare swept Faulkton Area in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-19 and 25-6.

Rebecca Huizenga and Emmerie Arthurs each had nine kills, Gracyn Bixler tallied 29 assists and 13 digs, while Cambree Hoekman had 14 digs in the win.

For FA, Anika Mueller had five kills and Claire Cotton added 13 assists, while Presleigh Martinmaas had nine digs in the loss.


Ipswich 3, Sully Buttes 1

ONIDA — Ipswich defeated Sully Buttes in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-10, 27-25, 18-25 and 25-15.

Ipswich’s Marley Guthmiller finished with 22 kills and four aces. Natalie Crissman totaled eight kills. Jalyssa Hutson posted five kills and 33 assists. Brianna Geditz totaled four aces and 25 digs. Josie Knutson posted six digs. 

Sully Buttes stats were not reported. 


Colman-Egan 3, Estelline-Hendricks 2

COLMAN — Colman-Egan clipped Estelline-Hendricks in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 20-25 and 15-6.

Colman-Egan’s Brynlee Landis finished with 21 kills, seven digs, three aces and two blocks. Caelee LeBrun posted 14 kills, two aces and one block. Hannah Grann added 15 assists. Finley Luze totaled 18 assists, eight digs, blocks and three aces. Michoen Williamson finished with nine kills and two blocks. Mya Reiff posted seven digs. 

For Estelline-Hendricks, Cambry Bury finished with 18 assists, nine kills, 11 digs, two blocks and three aces. Lita Fryer posted 10 kills and five digs. Presly Bury added 14 assists, three kills, 14 digs and three blocks. Elyse Wegner finished with 11 kills and four digs. Hilary Ramirez finished with three kills and 12 digs. Kimmy Schaefer totaled eight digs. Allie Duenwald posted 24 digs, one ace, one assist and one kill. Kori Saathoff finished with three digs, three blocks and three kills.


Wagner 3, Platte-Geddes 0

PLATTE — Wagner swept Platte-Geddes during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-11 and 25-17.

Wagner’s Hannah Holzbauer had eight kills, Ashlyn Koupal collected seven kills, Ravyn Medricky added six kills, 11 digs and five blocks, Braxton Nedved dished out 24 assists and 15 digs, adding two blocks in the win as well.

PG’s stats were not reported.


Deubrook Area 3, Flandreau 1

WHITE — Deubrook Area defeated Flandreau in four sets during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 23-25, 25-17 and 25-22.

DA’s Chloe Haines had 17 kills, three blocks and two aces, Kylee Johnson added seven kills, 13 digs and two aces, Peyton Trooien recorded six kills, Brynlee Hanson and Carly Engelstad each had five kills, Makenna Ekeen dished out 23 assists, Neely Gustad had 26 digs, while Maddie Schulte recorded 14 digs in the win.

For Flandreau, Ella Hoffman had eight kills and three blocks, Hannah Krull totaled seven kills and four blocks, Nora Hoffman collected 14 assists while Aly Schepel tallied five assists in the loss.


Highmore-Harrold 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

MILLER — Highmore-Harrold swept Sunshine Bible Academy in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-13 and 25-12.

HH’s Jada Baloun finished with five kills, five blocks and six digs. Carly Stephenson added four kills and five assists. Addison McDonnell posted three kills, eight aces and two blocks. Lainee Ping totaled five digs. Shaelee Parrish and Carly Stephenson had four aces apiece. Ciera Mickelson totaled five blocks. 

Sunshine Bible Academy stats were not reported. 


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Madison 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 2 Sioux Falls Christian swept Madison in three sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-16 and 25-15.

Sioux Falls Christian’s Tavyn Sichmeller finished with nine kills, eight digs and one ace. Jayla Overman, Kinzie Poppema and Camdyn Mulder finished with eight kills apiece. Ella Fluth and Allyra Dorhout had seven kills apiece. Meredith Nelson finished with four kills, five digs and one ace. Dorhout had four blocks, while Nelson added three blocks and 35 assists. 

For Madison, Jaya Engels recorded 14 kills and one ace. Lydia Nelson recorded seven kills, three blocks, seven digs and one ace. Karley Theede posted six digs and 25 assists. 


West Central 3, Elk Point-Jefferson 0

HARTFORD — West Central swept Elk Point-Jefferson during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-20 and 25-17.

Ella Harden led the Trojans with 17 kills and three aces, Cambree Ideker dished out 42 assists with four aces, Madi Ingalls recorded 16 kills and six digs, while Sophia Gross collected five kills in the win.

For EPJ, Cera Schmitz had nine kills and six digs, Paige Jacobs recorded four kills, Laney Trometer added 13 assists and eight digs, Tenley Trometer collected eight digs, while Molly Geary recorded 12 digs in the loss.


Harrisburg 3, Mitchell 0

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 1 Harrisburg swept Mitchell in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-9 and 25-18.

Harrisburg’s Gabi Zachariasen finished with 19 kills, 11 digs and four aces. Josalyn Samuels totaled 31 assists. Kya Keegan posted three blocks. Emma Masselink had 15 digs.

For Mitchell, Addie Siemsen recorded 12 assists and two aces. Nia Talley totaled six kills. Audrey Miller and Charleigh Collins had three blocks apiece. Kenna Soulek added eight digs.


Brandon Valley 3, Sioux Falls Lincoln 1

BRANDON — Class AA No. 2 Brandon Valley defeated Sioux Falls Lincoln in four sets during high school volleyball action Tuesday. The set scores were 22-25, 25-22, 25-22 and 25-13.

Jayaunna Stroh tallied 16 kills, Mya VanWesten added 18 digs, Kennedi Boomsma recorded six blocks while Logan McGuire had 36 assists and two aces in the win.

Lincoln’s stats were not reported.
