Langford Area 3, Britton-Hecla 2

BRITTON — Langford Area outlasted Britton-Hecla in a five-set marathon volleyball match on Monday. The set scores were 25-18, 30-28, 22-25, 19-25 and 15-13.

Britton-Hecla’s Kaegan Frederickson finished with 18 kills, 65 assists and 15 digs. Emma Kraft logged seven kills and Tiyanna Schott added six kills. Annika Tank posted 23 digs and Heather Storbakken added 16 digs. Schott logged six blocks and Abby Lee posted seven assists.

Langford Area stats were not reported. 

Mount Vernon 3, Winner 0 

PLANKINTON — Mount Vernon/Plankinton swept Winner in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-18 and 25-17.

Mount Vernon/Plankinton’s Reagan Rus finished with 10 kills and three aces. Berkeley Engelland logged 26 digs, while Vanessa Hoffman added three aces and nine assists. Maryssa VanGorp and Taryn Hegg had four kills apiece. Hegg added two blocks. 

For Winner, Keelie Kuil finished with nine kills. Adysen Pravecek logged 12 digs and Lexi Klein added seven assists. Lilly Barfuss had two blocks and Gracie Root recorded two aces. 

Kimball/White Lake 3, Gregory 1

WHITE LAKE — Kimball/White Lake picked up a four-set win over Gregory in high school volleyball action Monday. Set scores were 26-24, 14-25, 25-11 and 25-22. 

Kimball/White Lake’s Ryann Nielsen had a big night with 17 kills, 14 set assists, 31 digs and three aces. Harley Namanny finished with eight kills, 23 assists, ten digs and three aces. Madison Meier and Rylee McCord both had 14 digs while Lindy Keihn led with four aces. 

Raesha Beck powered Gregory with nine kills while Asia VanDerWerff had 15 assists and 15 digs. Regan Graesser finished with eight kills and a team leading three aces.
