Chamberlain 3, Todd County 0

CHAMBERLAIN — Chamberlain swept Todd County in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-10 and 25-12.

Chamberlain’s Alexis Cronk finished with seven kills and five aces, while Megan Marone and Sara Peterson added four kills apiece. Chesney Mutziger logged 17 assists, six aces and five digs. Jayna Handel added eight aces. Leigha Long recorded 11 digs. 

Todd County’s Athena Dwarf finished with five assists, while Madison Metcalf logged eight digs. Veronica Brave added three digs. Brooke Bad Hand had one kill. 


Wessington Springs 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 1

WOONSOCKET — Wessington Springs dropped the first set, but rattled off three straight wins to pick up a Tuesday high school volleyball win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. The set scores were 21-25, 25-11, 25-15 and 25-13.

Wessington Springs’ Avery Orth finished with 18 kills, 14 digs and four blocks. Raylee Fagerhaug recorded 10 digs, seven kills and three aces. Riley Roduner added four aces. Carissa Scheel finished with four blocks. Alyssa Grohs dished out 31 assists. 

SCW’s Kamryn Ochnser finished with six kills, three blocks and one ace. Kennadie Ochnser had four kills, two blocks and one ace. Bailey Feistner and Kenlie Fridley had six assists apiece. Feistner had 10 digs, while Bella Fry finished with 21 digs. Ellie Evans had an ace.

Warner 3, Ipswich 0

IPSWICH — Class B No. 1 Warner swept Ipswich for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-14, 25-15, and 25-13.

Warner’s Lauren Marcuson recorded 13 kills and seven digs, while Kendyl Anderson tallied 11 kills. Kyleigh Schopp had 10 kills and two blocks, while Courtney Bjorgaard added seven digs. Ava Nilsson logged 35 assists and two aces, while Kami Anderson and Jordyn Jensen each added two aces.

Ipswich’s Gracie Lange tallied 11 kills, while Baylee Kulesa had seven kills. Quincy Olivier recorded 13 assists, while Madison Geditz had 10 digs and two aces. Vanesa Diaz added eight digs.


Miller 3, Northwestern 1

MILLER — Miller defeated Class B No. 2 Chester Area in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-12, 26-24, 15-25 and 25-16.

Miller’s Jaden Werdel finished with 18 kills, 11 digs and one ace. Ally Mullaney added 15 kills, while Jolie Palmer posted 17 digs. Mullaney had two block assists. Tyra Gates and Journey Palmer had 11 and eight digs, respectively. Gates dished out 47 assists and Gates had five kills. Jolie Palmer and Gates had aces. Tricia Lammers and Gates each had solo blocks. 

Northwestern’s Ella Haven racked up 30 kills and 19 digs. Ashley Haven finished with 10 kills and 10 digs. Ana Ratigan added four kills and two block assists. Brooklinn Halvorson finished with 33 assists, while Payton Grandpre posted 10 digs, six assists and two aces. 


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Bon Homme 1

TYNDALL — Tripp-Delmont/Armour defeated Bon Homme for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 15-25, 26-24, 25-14, and 25-15.

TDA’s Megan Reiner recorded 13 kills, 13 digs, and six blocks, while Gracey Schatz had 10 kills, eight digs, and eight blocks. Hannah Stremick stuffed the stat sheet with 22 assists, 11 digs, seven aces, seven blocks, and five kills. Faith Goehring added 15 digs.

Bon Homme stats were not reported.


Scotland 3, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 1

SCOTLAND — Scotland picked up a high school volleyball win over Andes Central/Dakota Christian on Tuesday. The set scores were 30-28, 25-10, 22-25, and 25-19. 

AC/DC’s Halle Olson had six kills, while Syrianna Never Miss A Shot led with 33 digs. Mahpiyah Irving tallied 10 assists and 12 digs, while Josie Brouwer recorded 18 digs, five assists, and four aces. Nevaeh Morgan and Claire Johnson added 11 and 10 digs, respectively.

Scotland’s Trinity Bietz led with 17 kills, 14 digs, and four aces, while Martina DeBoer had 10 kills, 15 digs, and seven aces. Grace Robb had seven kills and 10 digs, while Bailey Vitek recorded 17 digs. Kalley Vitek and Claire Janish added 17 and 10 assists, respectively.


Wagner 3, Avon 0 

WAGNER — Wagner picked up a high school volleyball win over Avon on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-11, and 25-15.

Wagner’s Emma Yost tallied 12 kills and seven digs, while Avari Bruguier had eight kills. Macy Koupal recorded 28 assists and six aces. Madi Knebel added four aces.

Avon’s Courtney Sees led with 10 kills, and 11 digs, while McKenna Kocmich had 13 assists and eight digs.


Elkton-Lake Benton 3, Chester Area 1

ELKTON — Elkton-Lake Benton topped Class B No. 3 Chester Area in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-23, 17-25, 25-22 and 25-22.

Elkton-Lake Benton’s Rachael Krog finished with 13 kills and 27 digs. Kailyn Drietz posted 11 kills and 10 digs. Andrea Renkly recorded seven kills, five block assists and 11 digs. Aubree Bales posted four kills, six block assists and two digs. Kylie Ramlo posted nine digs and five block assists. Tevan Erickson posted 34 assists, 12 digs and four block assists. Kayla Goertz had 10 digs, while Kinsley Krog added five digs. 

Chester Area’s Lily VanHal posted 12 kills and 30 assists. Jacy Wolf logged 12 kills, 21 assists and 17 digs. Emery Larson had 31 digs, while Emmerson Eppard had two aces and three blocks. Katelynn Huntimer had 17 digs. 


Hamlin 3, Aberdeen Roncalli 2

HAYTI — Hamlin outlasted Aberdeen Roncalli in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-14, 25-19, 21-25, 21-25 and 15-5.

Kamryn Wadsworth logged 46 assists and recorded her 1,000th career assist. She added three blocks. Ally Abraham finished with 26 kills, while Addie Neuendorf posted eight kills and two aces. Gracelyn Leiseth finished with four blocks. Ava Prouty logged 28 digs and Grace Opdahl added 21 digs. 

Aberdeen Roncalli’s Ella Hanson finished with nine kills, while Maddie Huber posted three aces and 12 assists. Camryn Bain added 43 digs. Jaidyn Feickert finished with one solo block and one block assist. 


Dell Rapids St. Mary 3, Flandreau Indian 0

DELL RAPIDS — Dell Rapids St. Mary swept Flandreau Indian in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-11, 25-12 and 25-7.

DRSM’s Maya Heinitz finished with 14 kills, three digs and two aces. Ella Griffin finished with five kills, eight aces and three digs. Brianna Griffin added five kills and one assist. Jaycee Tebay added four kills and two assists. Megan Geraets logged four kills. Brianna Lindeman recorded 22 assists, nine digs and two aces. Madala Hanson and Josie Baumberger had three digs apiece. 

Flandreau Indian stats were not reported. 


Alcester-Hudson 3, Centerville 1

CENTERVILLE — Alcester-Hudson picked up a high school volleyball win over Centerville on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-10, 21-25, and 25-17.

Alcester-Hudson’s Elly Doering recorded 10 kills, nine digs, and six blocks, while Alexis Gray had nine kills and 11 digs. Carly Patrick had eight kills, while Ella Serck logged 32 assists and 21 digs. Hannah Ahart had 20 digs and eight aces, while Emma Moller added 12 digs, five kills, and four aces.

Centerville’s Thea Gust led with 12 kills and six digs, while Lillie Eide recorded seven kills and eight digs. Macey Hostetler tallied 26 assists and 10 digs, while Mackenzie Meyer had 10 digs. Keria Austin and Kalie Barckley added nine and eight digs, respectively.


Mobridge-Pollock 3, Timber Lake 0

TIMBER LAKE — Mobridge-Pollock swept Timber Lake in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-14, 25-15, and 25-18.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Charley Henderson had nine kills and five aces, while Emma Keller tallied six kills and 13 assists. Katy Kemnitz logged 14 assists, while Reagan Weisbeck had 15 digs. Raelyn Aberle and Ryli Thompson had eight and six digs, respectively. 

Timber Lake’s stats were not reported. 


Florence/Henry 3, Clark/Willow Lake 0

FLORENCE — Florence/Henry swept Clark/Willow Lake for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-10, 25-17, 25-14.

Florence/Henry’s Caylin Kelly led with 18 kills, 13 digs, and three blocks, while Trinity Watson had 10 kills. Macey Lane recorded 13 digs, eight kills, and three aces. Jozie Hyatt tallied 13 digs and three aces, while Reese Schmidt added 40 assists.

Clark/Willow Lake stats were not reported. 


Mount Vernon/Plankinton 3, Redfield 0

REDFIELD — Mount Vernon/Plankinton swept Redfield in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores 25-19, 25-17, and 25-21.

MVP’s Reagan Rus tallied 25 digs, 13 kills, and two blocks, while Damani Casillas had seven kills. Berkeley Engelland recorded 21 digs, while Vanessa Hoffman added 15 assists.

Redfield’s Katie Rozell tallied eight kills, while Gracie Fast added six kills. Camryn Rohlfs had 24 assists.


Baltic 3, West Central 0

HARTFORD — Baltic swept West Central for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-14, 25-17, and 25-9.

West Central’s Josephine Dinges recorded three kills and one ace, while Jocelyn Nilson tallied nine digs. Caitlyn Hoff had eight digs, while Elli Lienhard added three assists.

Baltic’s stats were not reported.


Estelline/Hendricks 3, Great Plains Lutheran 0

ESTELLINE — Estelline/Hendricks picked up a three-set high school volleyball win over Great Plains Lutheran on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-13, 25-21 and 25-14.

Estelline/Hendricks’ Kenzy Beare finished with 14 kills, three blocks and two aces. Heidi Nicola added five kills, 23 digs, two aces and one block. Brooke Johnson logged five kills. Sadie Johnson posted 23 digs and 22 assists. Julie Williams finished with 22 digs. 

Great Plains Lutheran’s Kim Goens recorded four kills, while Madeline Prahl posted three kills. Kyrie Roberts added nine assists, while Kaitlyn Rawerts had five assists. Olivia Holmen had three kills. Grace Powers and Abby Kjenstad had 15 and seven digs, respectively. 


Deubrook Area 3, Iroquois/Lake Preston 0

WHITE — Deubrook Area swept Iroquois/Lake Preston in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-15, 25-9 and 25-13.

Deubrook Area’s Allison Andrews finished with 10 kills, while Miranda Moravetz added eight kills and 10 digs. Brooke Koppatschek finished with seven kills and 13 assists. Zoey Molengraaf recorded six kills and two blocks. Ellie Koenig added eight assists, while Delaney Pedersen recorded 29 digs. Taylor Ekern posted 11 digs. Moravetz and Madalyn Bauman had two aces apiece. 

Iroquois/Lake Preston’s Ava Malone and Becca Bich finished with four kills apiece. Bich added nine digs, six assists and one ace. Malone had 11 digs, while Kaylee Morehead had eight digs. Hadlee Holt logged seven digs and three blocks. 


Tea Area 3, Parker 0

PARKER — Tea Area swept Parker in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 25-15, and 25-9.

Tea Area’s Lizzy Spah recorded 16 kills and 12 digs, while Kalli Boom had 15 digs. Mara Grant tallied 10 kills and two blocks, while Jillian Huenink had 27 assists. Emily Froendt logged 13 digs and three aces. Gwynn Campbell added eight digs.

Parker’s Halle Berens tallied 39 digs and six kills, while Samantha Gavette led with 40 digs. Terryn Fuller had eight assists, eight digs, and four aces, while Hailey Phillips and Jenna VanVelzen each had eight digs.


Howard 3, Menno 1

MENNO — Howard defeated Menno in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-17, 15-25, 25-15 and 25-23.

Howard’s Kate Connor finished with 18 kills, six digs, three aces and two blocks. Piper Thompson added five kills, 27 digs and four aces. Abby Aslesen recorded five kills, six digs and three blocks. Landree Callies logged 16 digs and four kills. Rylee Rudebusch finished with 22 assists and five digs. Canyon Kidd posted 13 digs. Tana Hoyer finished with three digs and two aces. 

Menno’s Josephine Stokes finished with 10 kills and two blocks. Julia Buechler added seven kills and 11 digs. Ashton Massey recorded five kills, while Morgan Freier added six assists, five digs, two kills and one ace. Alana Fergen finished with 11 assists and seven digs. Maggie Miller posted 18 digs, while Madelyn Kludt added eight digs. Abby Bender had six digs and two assists. Joslynn Fischer finished with 10 digs, seven assists and two aces. 


Garretson 3, Flandreau 0

FLANDREAU — Garretson defeated Flandreau in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-15, 25-18, and 25-18.

Garretson’s Kaylin Koch led with 13 kills, nine digs, and two aces, while Aleah Wagner had seven kills and four aces. Logan Bly tallied 11 digs and two aces.

Flandreau’s Claire Sheppard had eight kills and two aces, while Sadie Iott tallied seven kills and two aces. Abby Schoberl recorded 34 assists and Ella Hoffman had four assists. Lily Klein added two aces. 


Milbank 3, Waubay/Summit 0

MILBANK — Milbank swept Waubay/Summit for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-11, and 25-11.

Milbank’s Rachel Schulte recorded 10 kills, while Rylie Overby added eight kills. Addisyn Krause tallied 15 assists and eight digs, while Averie Engebretson added 14 assists, seven digs, and three aces. Emily Jo Wollschlager added eight digs.

Waubay/Summit stats were not reported.


Harrisburg 3, Dakota Valley 1

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 2 Harrisburg topped Class A No. 2 Dakota Valley in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 20-25, 25-23, 25-21 and 25-23.

Harrisburg’s Gabrielle Zachariasen finished with 14 kills, while Morissen Samuels added eight kills and three blocks. Maggie Meister finished with 25 digs, while Kaelyn Snoozy had 19 digs and five aces. Kayleigh Hybertson dished out 29 assists. 

Dakota Valley stats were not available. 


Brookings 3, Brandon Valley 0

BRANDON — Brookings swept Brandon Valley in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-23 and 25-15.

Brookings’ Gracie Adamson finished with seven kills, 12 digs, 16 assists and three blocks. Tayla Dobrenski and Kymber Buys had six and five kills, respectively. Morgan Linstad had 13 digs.
