Burke 3, Platte-Geddes 0

PLATTE — Class B No. 2 Burke swept Platte-Geddes in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-23, 25-15 and 25-17.


Corsica-Stickney 3, Kimball/White Lake 2

CORSICA — Corsica-Stickney outlasted Kimball/White Lake in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 26-24, 22-25, 25-21, 18-25 and 15-10.

Corsica-Stickney’s Sophie DeLange recorded 21 kills, 18 assists, 17 digs and four blocks. Braylee Bordewyk posted 17 digs and three aces. Hadynn Johnson posted six kills and three blocks. Cali VandenHoek had 22 digs, while Remi Nelson had 13 digs. 

For KWL, Kyza Johnson finished with eight kills, while Lindy Kiehn had seven kills. Mariah Gosmire posted 40 assists and four aces. Sienna Gillen posted two aces and 22 digs. Riley McCord had 23 digs. Elena Brennan posted four blocks.


Chester Area 3, Parker 0

CHESTER — Class B No. 1 Chester Area earned a straight set sweep over Parker during Tuesday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-9, and 25-8.

Chester Area’s Jacy Wolf tallied 11 kills, Emmerson Eppard added 10 more kills. Lily Van Hal racked up 24 assists and nine aces, while Gracie Huntimer had 10 digs in the victory as well.

Parker’s Halle Berens had five kills, Hannah Schaeffer dished out seven assists, Braelyn Berens collected 10 digs, while Alyeska Petersen tallied two aces in the loss.


Winner 3, Parkston 1

WINNER — Winner defeated Parkston in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 20-25, 25-14 and 25-22.

Winner’s Livvy Audiss and Keelie Kuil recorded 11 kills apiece. Kuil had four blocks. Cora Moss added two aces. Gracie Root posted 36 assists. Tessa Sieh added four blocks. Kuil and Moss had 24 digs apiece. 

For Parkston, Lauren Ziebart had 12 kills and 20 digs. Berkley Ziebart had 10 kills and 14 digs. Keeara Oakley posted nine kills and three blocks. Carlie Hobbick finished with 23 assists. Allie Hobbick posted 27 digs.


Dakota Valley 3, West Central 0

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Class A No. 3 Dakota Valley earned a straight set sweep over West Central during Tuesday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-12, and 25-6.

DV’s Claire Munch racked up 21 kills and eight digs, Maddie Munch dished 33 assists, Sammy Kimball tallied eight kills and 11 digs along with seven aces, while Reagan Granstrom tallied 15 digs in the win as well.

WC’s Ella Harden had four kills, Sophia Gross tallied three kills and 10 digs, Maddyx Ingalls and Dawson Garry each had three kills, while Cambree Ideker tallied 11 assists and nine digs in the loss.


Hamlin 3, Estelline-Hendricks 0

HAYTI — Hamlin swept Estelline-Hendricks during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-22, 25-19, and 25-11.

Addison Neuendorf led the Charger offense with 18 kills along with 13 digs and two blocks, Issie Steffensen dished out 35 assists, Addie Steffensen had 10 kills and 11 digs, while Jo Steffensen tallied 12 digs in the victory as well.

Estelline-Hendricks’ Brooke Johnson had four kills, Presly Bury tallied 22 digs, four kills and six aces, Lita Fryer had four kills and two blocks, while Cambry Bury added six assists in the loss.


Northwestern 3, Leola-Frederick Area 0

MELLETTE — Northwestern swept Leola-Frederick Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-3, 25-4 and 25-14. 

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven finished with 11 kills, eight aces and two blocks. Nikki Nickeson and Anna Brumfield added six kills apiece. Ella Boekelheide posted 22 assists, 10 digs and one solo block. Brooklyn Satter recorded three aces and two blocks. Logan Ortmeier had six assists. Tara Blachford recorded nine digs and Sophia Troske had eight digs. Payton Grandpre had two aces. 

For Leola-Frederick Area, Jill Ellwein and Kaitlyn Mueller had three kills apiece. Taylor Vetter had four assists and 16 digs. Mueller added 16 digs.


Viborg-Hurley 3, Menno 0

VIBORG — Viborg-Hurley earned a straight set victory over Menno during Tuesday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-23, and 25-20.

VH’s Addison Huth tallied eight kills and six digs, Charley Nelson had 34 digs, Olivia Hanson racked up seven kills and 13 digs, Aubree Schwartz collected four kills, 15 digs, and four aces, while Jenna Graves had 12 assists and 10 digs in the win.

Menno’s Taylor Freier had six kills and 17 digs, Ellyana Ulmer had 16 digs and four assists, Joslynn Fischer racked up 16 digs and seven assists, while Nora Robb and Haylee Hall each tallied 12 digs in the loss.


North Central 3, Sully Buttes 0

BOWDLE — North Central topped Sully Buttes in a straight set sweep during Tuesday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 26-24, 25-9, and 25-10.

Amree Vander Vorst had 18 kills and 14 digs, Alaina Dosch tallied 10 digs, Camryn Witlock tallied 25 assists and five digs, while Ella Batie had six kills and nine digs in the win.

Sully Buttes’ stats were not reported.


Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Iroquois/Lake Preston 0

HITCHCOCK — Class B No. 3 Hitchcock-Tulare swept Iroquois/Lake Preston in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-11 and 25-6.

HT’s Katelyn Schroeder finished with 13 kills, while Cora Hofer had six kills. Lila Johnson posted 21 assists and two aces, while Gracyn Bixler posted eight assists. Isabel Gilbert logged five aces and two blocks. Cambree Hoekman had 12 digs and Avarie Estey had 11 digs. 

For Iroquois/Lake Preston, Kera Dubro had three kills and eight digs, while Chenoa Harris had two kills. Brityn Davies had three assists and Trinity Pirlet had two assists. Hadlee Holt added nine digs. Kara Camin had one block. 


Colman-Egan 3, Canistota 0

COLMAN — Colman-Egan swept Canistota in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-7 and 25-13.

Colman-Egan’s Brynlee Landis recorded 15 kills, 13 digs and one block. Kaylee Voelker finished with 13 assists and two aces. Elaina Rhode recorded six kills and two aces. Presley Luce logged four aces and two assists. Anna Zwart had eight kills and nine digs. Michoen Williamson had two blocks. Addison Geigle logged five assists.

For Canistota, Bailey Spicer finished with 12 assists, seven digs and two kills. Ember Schenkel logged five kills and 10 digs. Emma Sandman had six kills, four digs and one block. Abby Keller posted six digs and one ace. Clara Remacle had six digs.


Sioux Valley 3, Milbank 1

VOLGA — Sioux Valley earned a four-set victory over Milbank during Tuesday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-18, 22-25, and 25-14.

SV’s Kaedyn Sapp tallied 20 kills and nine digs, Adison Renkly had 13 kills and 15 digs, Lacey Langland racked up eight kills, while Sunny Hesby added 29 assists. Machaela Gerasch had 19 assists and eight digs in the victory, while Caitlin Russell tallied 32 digs as well.

Milbank’s Isabella Anderson had 10 kills, Claire Snaza recorded nine kills, Ella Sandvig had 22 digs, while Rylee Scoular dished out 21 assists in the loss.


Dell Rapids St. Mary 3, Howard 0

HOWARD — Dell Rapids St. Mary swept Howard in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 27-25 and 25-15.

DRSM’s Brianna Griffin logged six kills and 21 digs. Megan Geraets had five kills and five blocks. Madala Hanson added 25 assists and three aces. Harper Werdel added three blocks. Jodie Klein logged 22 digs. Emersyn Herber had two aces 

For Howard, Tana Hoyer recorded seven kills and four blocks. Kayleigh Schwader and Dakota Spader posted four kills apiece. Schwader had a block. Hannah Brown added 12 digs, while Anna Becker logged 11 digs and two aces. Reese Rudebusch posted 17 assists. Kenya Kizer had one block. 


Miller 3, Redfield 0

REDFIELD — Class A No. 4 Miller swept Redfield in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-22 and 25-13.

Miller’s Paige Werdel logged 13 kills and four aces. Kate Lichty posted six kills and seven digs. Jolie Palmer finished with 10 aces and 10 digs. Olivia Resel recorded 26 assists. 

For Redfield, Hayden Gall posted one ace, nine assists and six digs. Ceci Suchor recorded six kills. Gracie Boothe had two blocks. 


Wagner 3, Bon Homme 1

TYNDALL — Wagner topped Bon Homme in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 27-25, 25-16, 19-25 and 25-13.

Wagner’s Ravyn Medricky posted 12 kills, five blocks and nine digs. Hannah Holzbauer finished with 10 kills, 15 digs and one ace. Braxton Nedved recorded 12 kills, 27 assists, nine digs and three aces. Brianna Fuchs had four kills and Libby Kotab posted 23 digs. Brylie Link logged four kills.

Bon Homme stats were not reported. 


Flandreau 3, McCook Central/Montrose 0

FLANDREAU — Flandreau swept McCook Central/Montrose in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-19, 25-19 and 25-19.

Flandreau’s Sadie Iott recorded eight kills and 17 digs. Olivia Peters posted six kills. Ella Hoffman added two blocks. Aly Schepel logged 13 assists, while Morgan Kontz had 13 digs. Addy Hammer posted two aces.

For MCM, Mya Morrison finished with five kills and Nora Gordon had four kills. Ashtyn DeKnikker had 18 digs. Avery Alley and Kaylee Klinkhammer posted six assists apiece. 


Madison 3, Arlington 0

MADISON — Madison swept Arlington in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-13 and 30-28.

Madison’s Jaya Engles recorded 13 kills and 12 digs. Lydia Nelson posted 13 kills, 11 digs, four blocks and three aces. Ella Malone had three aces. Karley Theede posted 23 assists and one block. 

For Arlington, Jaelyn Huntimer recorded 11 kills, while Rachel Steffensen had five kills and two aces. Sony Johnson had 15 digs and 14 assists. Madi Bacon posted 14 digs. Marla Steffensen had eight assists. Johnson and Halley Miller had two blocks apiece. 


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Elk Point-Jefferson 0 

ELK POINT — Class A No. 2 Sioux Falls Christian swept Elk Point-Jefferson in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-15 and 25-16.

Sioux Falls Christian’s Brietta Tims logged 17 kills and three aces. Rachel Dieleman logged 12 kills. Chloe Bosma posted 20 digs. Meredith Nelson added 34 assists and three blocks. Aubrie VanBeek had three aces. 

For EPJ, Bentlee Kollbaum logged 12 kills and 15 digs. Ashley Brewer had seven kills and four digs. Paige Jacobs added three kills. Courtney Brewer recorded 27 assists, two kills and nine digs. Kaitlyn VanRoekel logged 13 digs. Skyler Stein added 10 digs. Cera Schmitz had seven digs, two kills and one ace. Jillyan VandeVegte had three kills and one block.


Deubrook Area 3, Deuel 0

CLEAR LAKE — Deubrook Area swept Deuel in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-14 and 25-7.

Deubrook Area’s Zoey Molengraaf posted eight kills, four blocks and one ace. Kylee Johnson recorded seven kills and one ace. Chloe Haines had six kills and two blocks. Matte Bauman added 24 assists and five digs. Matti Ramlo logged seven digs. 

For Deuel, Ella Kerkvliet had two blocks, four kills and 11 digs. Camdyn Peterreins had four kills and one block. Gracyn Gohring added one ace and three assists. Tory Engebretson logged three kills. Addison Timmons posted 13 digs. Emma Sattler posted four digs. Alayna Carlson logged one block. 


Sioux Falls Roosevelt 3, Brandon Valley 0

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Roosevelt swept Brandon Valley in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-22, 25-22 and 25-20.

Brandon Valley’s Abby Gruber and Jayaunna Stroh logged seven kills apiece. Mya VanWesten had nine digs, while Stroh added seven digs. Kennedi Boomsma and Ashley Ertelt had five and four blocks, respectively. Riya Sheley had 13 assists and two aces. Logan McGuire recorded six assists and two aces.
