NORTH SIOUX CITY — The Sioux Falls Christian girls claimed the team title at Monday’s Dakota Valley Invitational. 

The Chargers placed four golfers in the top-15 to spark the team title and shot a +68 over par, edging out Vermillion (+75). Sioux Falls Christian’s Claire Lamfers tied for third with an 84, while Aubrie Van Beek (85) tied for fifth place. Tori Peterson (89) and Cecelia VanDenTop (90) also placed in the top-15 individually at the Two Rivers Golf Club.

Individually, Dakota Valley’s Katie Betsworth was the individual medalist with an 80. Vermillion’s Ronnie Wilharm placed second with an 83. Vermillion’s Taylor Reuvers tied for third place with Lamfers. 

Vermillion’s Stefanie Carr tied for fifth place with Van Beek.
