SPEARFISH — The Spearfish girls claimed Saturday’s Black Hills Conference wrestling championship.

The Spartans ran away with the team title with 202.5 points, ahead of Hot Springs (101), Lead-Deadwood (71), Custer (59.5) and Belle Fourche (51) rounding out the top-5.

Spearfish’s Morgan Little (105 pounds), Candice Matsuda (130 pounds), Mathilde Matsuda (140 pounds, Sydney Badwound (170 pounds) and Marlee Heltzel (190 pounds) each won a title for the Spartans.

The other individual champions were Belle Fourche’s Kyra Vandenberg (100 pounds), Belle Fourche’s AnaaBella Dighton (110 pounds), St. Thomas More’s Gabrielle Nelson (115 pounds), Custer’s Savannah Bell (120 pounds), Hot Springs’ Kadlin Humbracht (125 pounds), Mahpiya Luta’s Tylyn Eagle Bull (135 pounds), Hot Springs’ Sarah Rickenbach (145 pounds), Hot Springs Katie Snyder (155 pounds) and Hot Springs’ Caydan Halls (235 pounds).
