On the strength of three individual champions the Sturgis girls won the Belle Fourche wrestling invitational.

Sturgis racked up 128.5 points, ahead of Rapid City Stevens (116.5) and Spearfish (112). Hot Springs (86) and Belle Fourche (81.5) rounded out the top-five teams. 

Annalee Pierson (107), Brooklyn Baird (132) and Eleanor Jacobs (138) each won individual titles for the Scoopers. 

Other championships were claimed by Belle Fourche’s Kyra Vandenberg (100), Lakota Tech’s Lakota Rogers (114), Harding County’s Kanyn Padden (120), Lead-Deadwood’s Harlow McCauley (126), Lakota Tech’s Sandra Moves Camp (145), Hot Springs’ Katie Snyder (152), Rapid City Stevens’ Marieda Kalahar (165), Custer’s Jessica Hite (185) and Hot Springs’ Madison Nicolaisen (235).
