Thursday Jan. 4 Girls Basketball Roundup - Lyman girls remain undefeated with win over Gregory

GREGORY  — Mak Scott and Skyler Volmer both had big games to propel Lyman past Gregory, 49-27,  in high school girls basketball action Thursday. 

Scott had a team high 19 points while Volmer finished with 14 points. McKenzie Lavercure hit a pair of three pointers and finished with six points.

Reagan Graeser and Ashlyn Vosicka each had eight points to lead Gregory.


Harding County 82, McIntosh 12

BUFFALO — Three players reached double-figures as Harding County rolled to an easy win over McIntosh in girls basketball action Thursday. 

Macey Wendt put up big numbers with 26 points and 18 rebounds. Claire Verhulst added 13 points and four rebounds. Bailey Verhulst and McKenzie Laverdure each scored 13 points for the Ranchers. 

Josie Campbell led Mcintosh with four points. 


Winner 62, Todd County 28

WINNER — A balanced scoring attack helped the Winner girls pick up a win over visiting rival Todd County in girls basketball action Thursday.

Keely Kuil paved the way for Winner with 13 points and eight rebounds. Karlee Brozik had a breakout game with 10 points and four rebounds. Olivia Swedlund added nine points for Winner. 

Payton Leroy paced Todd County with nine points while Skye Horse Looking added eight for the Falcons. 

 

Hitchcock-Tulare 47, Northwestern 42

TULARE — Katelyn Schroeder and Cambree Hoekman combined for 30 points as Hitchcock-Tulare slipped past Northwestern in girls basketball action Thursday.

Schroeder led the way with 18 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and two steals. 

Hoekman added 12 points and four rebounds. 

Ana Ratigan led Northwestern with 15 points and 11 rebounds, Ella Boekelheide added eight points and eight rebounds for Northwestern.
