Timber Lake boys, Lemmon girls claim Little Moreau Conference titles

TIMBER LAKE — The Timber Lake boys and Lemmon girls captured titles at Thursday’s Little Moreau Conference track and field meet. 

The Timber Lake boys recorded 218 points, finishing ahead of Lemmon (152) and Dupree (103). 

The Lemmon girls amassed 232.5 points, ahead of Timber Lake (130) and Newell (85.5). 

In boys action, Timber Lake’s Gavin Farlee won the 100-meter dash (:11.48) and 200-meter dash (:23.26). Farlee also anchored the winning 800-meter relay (1:39.11), teaming up with Eddie Keller, Cole Ducheneaux and Gracen Hansen. 

Timber Lake’s Holden Gill won the 400-meter dash (:53.85) and placed second in the 800-meter run (2:09.16). 

Timber Lake’s Aidan Rough Surface won the shot put (44-6.5), followed by teammates Dan Peterson (43-0) and Mason Bickel (41-5). 

Timber Lake’s Kyler Bollinger won the high jump (5-8) and placed third in the triple jump (37-9). 

Harding County’s Jarett Schuchard earned a first-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles (:40.64), edging out Timber Lake’s Gracen Hansen (:41.10). Schuchard also won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.79) and finished second in the 200-meter dash (:23.77). 

Hansen won the triple jump with a mark of 40-4.5. 

The Timber Lake foursome of Gill, Ducheneaux, Farlee and Hansen won the 1,600-meter relay (3:34.89). 

Dupree’s Jessup Pederson captured first-place finishes in the 800-meter run (2:06.78) and 1,600-meter run (4:44.43). 

Dupree’s Tayshaun Cudmore won the 3,200-meter run (10:57.76) and placed second in the 1,600-meter run (4:55.72). 

Lemmon’s Blair Ham won the discus (130-3.5) and placed second in the javelin (123-1), behind teammate Blake Drayton (138-1). 

Lemmon’s Gage Anderson placed first in the pole vault (12-3), followed by teammates Blaze Beer (9-3) and Trigg Odenbach (9-3). 

The Lemmon boys won the 3,200-meter relay (9:18.57) and sprint medley relay (4:03.34). 

In girls action, Lemmon’s Brynn Odebach won the 400-meter dash (1:02.81) and placed second in the 200-meter dash (:28.07). 

Lemmon’s Karly Riley won the 1,600-meter run (5:49.60), followed by teammates Briley Gebhart (6:11.78) and Natalie Dreiske (6:19.72). Riley also won the 3,200-meter run (13:03.00), followed by Gebhart (13:30.55) and Dreiske (13:55.09). 

Lemmon’s Payton Olson won the pole vault (8-6) and placed third in the long jump (14-9.25). 

The Lemmon girls won the 1,600-meter relay (4:24.61), 3,200-meter relay (11:31.23) and sprint medley relay (5:00.20). 

Newell’s Rachel Erk earned first-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (:13.00), 200-meter dash (:27.90) and long jump (16-0). 

Harding County’s Jozi Schuchard won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.85) and 300-meter hurdles (:53.60). 

The Timber Lake girls won the 400-meter relay (:54.09) and 800-meter relay (1:56.40).

Timber Lake’s Jasmine Nash won the shot put (36-5) and placed second in the discus (98-10). 

Faith’s TyAnn Mortenson won the discus (98-10) and javelin (103-0).
