Colman-Egan boys earn top spot in Class B track and field team championships

SIOUX FALLS — The Colman-Egan boys held on to win the Class B boys team championship at the state track and field meet at Howard Wood Field Saturday.

Colman-Egan led the competition with 78 points, followed by Philip (74.5) and Gregory (52).

Christopher Lee totaled 10 points for the Hawks with a first-place finish in the 100-meter dash (10.94).

Jackson Zwart took home fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (15.61) and second in the 300-meter hurdles (40.56) to add 14 points.

Jack Mousel took third in the 200-meter dash (22.06), adding six points, while Jase Mousel netted six points in the 400-meter dash (50.59).

Jace Mousel (43-00.75) took third in the triple jump while Jackson Zwart (40-07.25) added a fifth place finish as well.

The quartet of Hayden Pearson, Mikano Lee, Christopher Lee and Jack Mousel won the 400-meter relay (43.47) while Jase Mousel, Mikano Lee, Jack Mousel and Christopher Lee won the 800-meter relay (1:29.95) adding a combined 20 points as well.
