Timber Lake boys win three relays at Northern Hills Invitational

BELLE FOURCHE — The Timber Lake boys won three relays at Tuesday’s Northern Hills Invitational track and field meet. 

The Panther boys won the 400-meter relay (:48.06), 1,600-meter relay (3:42.46) and 3,200-meter relay (8:45.39). Timber Lake’s Eddie Keller won the long jump (19-10.5). 

Belle Fourche’s Kash Le LaCheur won the 100-meter dash (:11.47) and 200-meter dash (:23.44). Le LaCheur also led off the winning 800-meter relay (1:34.67). 

Hot Springs’ Hunter Kunz won the 400-meter dash (:52.90).  

Belle Fourche’s Lennon Clarkson ran a 2:08.03 to win the 800-meter run, edging Timber Lake’s Holden Gill (2:08.78) and Newell’s Clint Winkler (2:08.82). Winkler won the 1,600-meter run (4:56.90) and 3,200-meter run (10:36.40). 

Belle Fourche’s Joseph McLennan won the shot put (44-2). Dupree’s Cameron Dekle won the discus (133-10). Belle Fourche’s Aidan Keil won the high jump (5-11). 

In girls action, Belle Fourche’s Jazlyn Olson won the 100-meter dash (:13.60) and teammate Mya Nowowiejseki placed first in the 200-meter dash (:27.69). The duo also ran on the winning 400-meter relay (:50.77). 

Harding County’s Jozi Schuchard won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.96) and 300-meter hurdles (:50.69). She also ran on the winning 1,600-meter relay (4:35.92). The Ranchers also won the 3,200-meter relay (11:09.43). 

Newell’s Eirelyn Bender won the discus with a toss of 109-2 and teammate Sara Erk won the high jump (4-9). Erk also placed third in the triple jump (30-10). 

Belle Fourche’s Misty Drieling won the 1,600-meter run (6:11.39). 

Bison’s Landree LaMont earned a first-place finish in the 3,200-meter run (13:57.13). 

Hot Springs won the 800-meter relay (1:51.23) 

Timber Lake’s Jasmine Nash won the shot put (35-2.5) 

Faith’s Kambelle Schauer and Tandee Nelson both cleared 7-9 in the pole vault, with Schauer finishing in first place. New Underwood’s Emmalee Scott won the long jump (14-9) 

Faith’s Journey King won the triple jump at 31-9.75.
