EUREKA — Ipswich’s Ty Kadlec was responsible for four first-place finishes at Tuesday’s Eureka Lions Invitational. 

Kadlec claimed the 100-meter dash (:11.19), the 200-meter dash (:22.88) and ran the anchor leg on two winning relay teams — the 400-meter relay (:44.49) and the 800-meter relay (1:34.25). 

Ipswich’s Carter Geditz won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.79) and 300-meter hurdles (:43.24). The Tigers quartet of Colby Sylte, Turner Thorson, Carson Gohl and Maxwell Kulesa also won the boys sprint medley relay in 3:55.10. 

As a team, the Ipswich boys won the team title with 232 points. Timber Lake (198) and Miller (186) finished second and third, respectively. 

The Potter County girls won the team title with 197 points, finishing ahead of Miller (180) and Ipswich (177). Potter County’s Peyton Stevens was a double winner in the 1,600-meter run (5:58.62) and the 3,200-meter run (13:02.19). 

Sully Buttes’ Stevie Wittler captured the 100-meter hurdles (:17.86) and 300-meter hurdles (:50.10).
