VERMILLION — Vermillion’s Trey Hansen (38) and Jack Johnson’s (39) helped fuel the Tanagers win over Elk Point-Jefferson at the Bluffs Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Tanagers shot 163 finishing ten strokes in front of Elk Point-Jefferson's (173).

Vermillion Scores: Trey Hansen, 38; Jack Johnson, 39; Rylan Moran, 43; Karson Preister, 43; Cooper Girard, 44; Carter Hansen, 45.          

Elk Point-Jefferson Scores: Carter Langle, 39; Ben Akin, 42; Austin Hanson, 44; Gavin Frank, 48; Jasper Trudeau, 57; Aidan Clercx, 70. 

The Tanagers are hosting the Vermillion Invitational Thursday. Teams participating are Vermillion, Madison, Tri-Valley, Tea Area, Dakota Valley, Dell Rapids, Lennox, Canton, Elk Point-Jefferson, Beresford, West Central and Sioux Falls Christian.
