After a strong showing at the Rumble on the Red wrestling tournament in Fargo, ND the Rapid City Stevens wrestling team vaulted to No. 2 in this week’s Dakota Grappler wrestling rankings. 

Sturgis remains the No. 1 ranked team with 192 points, ahead of Stevens (165) and Pierre (134). Watertown (119) and Brandon Valley (118) round out the top-five ranked teams this week. 

Two new No. 1’s this week as Watertown’s Gage Lohr jumped into the No. 1 slot at 120 and Pierre’s Lucas Chamberlain is the new No. 1 at 165. 

After winning the Floyd Farrand Invitational over the weekend Watertown continues to climb in the rankings. The Arrows jump from No. 6 to No. 4 this week. Brock Eitrem (190) jumped from No. 8 to No. 2 this week. 

Biggest tournament of the week is the Dan Pansch Invitational in Brandon Valley on Saturday.
