BOX ELDER — The White River boys golf team pulled away to win the Lakota Nation Invitational title Thursday at Prairie Ridge Golf Course in Box Elder.

White River posted a score of 266, ahead of Todd County (279) for second and Lakota Tech (298) for third place. Pine Ridge rounded out the team scores with a 323.

Individually, Flandreau Indian’s Kaden Bursheim took the individual title shooting an even 72 with five birdies and an eagle. White River’s Bryson One Star shot a 73 to take second, Todd County’s Robert Whipple took third place with a 74, Aberdeen Central’s Daniel Brave Jr. sat fourth with a 76, while Cheyenne-Eagle Butte’s Ben Ganje rounded out the top-5 shooting an 84.
