17U Kusler Klinics Volleyball Club places second at AAU nationals
The 17U Kusler Klinics Volleyball Club placed second at the AAU National Championships in Orlando, Florida.

ORLANDO — Two Kusler Klinics Volleyball Clubs shined at the recent AAU National Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. 

The 17U team finished second Aspire Division, while the 16U team placed fifth in the Aspire Division. The volleyball teams were coached by Brianna Kusler, Brevin Kaiser and Chloe Kaiser. 

The 17U team finished with a 12-1 record and its lone defeat was against Capital City Juniors (Alabama) in the title match. The 17U team defeated teams from North Carolina, Illinois, Iowa, Delaware, California, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Louisiana on its way to the title match.

The KKVC 17U team members include: Adisyn Indahl (Burke), Avery DeVries (Platte-Geddes), Ayvrie Kaiser (Pierre), Dani Deffenbaugh (Kimball/White Lake), Grace Kuch (Aberdeen Central), Lily Sanchez (Pierre), Makenna Schlekeway (Pierre), Regan Hoffman (Platte-Geddes), Remington Price (Pierre) and Sydney Evans (Aberdeen Central). Kaiser, Sanchez and Evans were 17U All-American selections.

The KKVC 16U team went 10-2 at the tournament, playing teams from Minnesota, Puerto Rico, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, North Carolina, Arizona and Wisconsin. The KKVC 16U team members include: Aleise Christopherson (Pierre), Cadence VanZee (Platte-Geddes), Kailee Frank (Burke), Karly VanDerWerff (Platte-Geddes), Lainey Reinke (Pierre), Reese Terwilliger (Pierre), Reghan Westcott (Highmore-Harrold) and Shona Kocer (Wagner). Christopherson was a 16U All-American selection.
