The 281 Conference boys and girls basketball tournament pairings have been announced, with both tournaments set to begin on Saturday, Jan. 13 in Wolsey. The second round of the tournaments will be on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at Wolsey and James Valley Christian in Huron, followed by the final round on Friday, Jan. 19 at the Huron Arena. The tournaments will be on a rolling schedule.

The girls tournament will begin with a first round matchup of top-seeded Wolsey-Wessington against No. 8 Sunshine Bible Academy at 3:30 p.m., followed by No. 4 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket against No. 5 Hitchcock-Tulare at 5 p.m. No. 2 James Valley Christian takes on No. 7 Highmore-Harrold at 6:30 p.m., followed by No. 3 Wessington Springs against No. 6 Iroquois/Lake Preston at 8 p.m.

The boys tournament begins with top-seeded Wolsey-Wessington colliding with No. 8 Sunshine Bible Academy at 1 p.m., followed by No. 4 Hitchcock-Tulare tangling with No. 5 Wessington Springs at 2:30 p.m. At 4 p.m., No. 2 James Valley Christian takes on No. 7 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, followed by No. 3 Highmore-Harrold against No. 6 Iroquois/Lake Preston at 5:30 p.m.
