ST. FRANCIS — Todd County improved to 4-0 with a 38-0 win over St. Francis Indian in All-Nations Football Conference action on Sept. 18. 

Urijah One Star led the Falcons with 60 rushing yards on seven carries and scored one touchdown. Bane Yellow Eagle rushed for 82 yards. Todd County finished with 223 rushing yards. 

The win sets up a key All-Nations Football Conference Class 9A football clash on Sept. 25 in Mission against Winnebago, Nebraska, which is also undefeated at 4-0.


Winnebago tops Mahpiya Luta, improves to 4-0

WINNEBAGO, Neb. — Winnebago, Nebraska, pulled away from Maphiya Luta, 55-22, for an All-Nations Football Conference win on Sept. 19. Winnebago racked up 347 yards, including 207 yards on the ground in the win. 

Mahpiya Luta’s Julian Tonche rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown, while hauling in 29 yards receiving. Tonche also scored on a kickoff return. 

Kendall LeBeaux added 24 yards rushing. Christian Jack scored on a fumble return. 

The Winnebago victory sets up a key All-Nations Football Conference Class 9A football game on Sept. 25 in Mission against Todd County, which is also 4-0. 


Omaha Nation defeats Crazy Horse, sets up key game vs. McLaughlin 

WANBLEE — Omaha Nation, Nebraska, topped Crazy Horse, 68-26, in All-Nations Football Conference action on Sept. 18. 

Omaha Nation’s Dason Romo rushed for 91 yards and two TDs on only nine carries, while Cebastian Cline-Brownrigg gained 90 total yards and two touchdowns. 

Red Grinnell added two touchdowns on offense and returned an interception for a touchdown on defense. Destin Parker intercepted two passes on defense. 

Omaha Nation (4-0) will host McLaughlin (4-0) on Sept. 26. Omaha Nation and McLaughlin are the last two undefeated teams in All-Nations Football Conference Class 9B action.
