MADISON — The Brookings track and field teams swept team the team titles at Friday’s Barker Relays

Brookings swept the team titles with the boys scoring 159 points, ahead of West Central (122) and Milbank (118.5). The Bobcat girls scored 140 points, ahead of West Central (90) and Chester (86).

On the girls’ side, Colman-Egan’s Jolie Flatten won the 100-meter dash (:12.57).

Brookings’ Kennedy Ronning won the 200-meter dash (:25.71) and the pole vault title (11-00).

West Central’s Addison Jaspers captured the 400-meter dash (1:03.16).

Brookings’ Kaylie Kuehl ran a new personal best to win the 800-meter run (2:21.91).

Chester’s Emmerson Eppard won the 1,600-meter run (5:32.33) while teammate Jacy Wolf captured the 300-meter hurdles (:47.36).

Brookings’ Jordyn Johnson took first place in the 3,200-meter run (12:33.84).

Elkton-Lake Benton’s Ivy Jaacks won the 100-meter hurdles (:15.23).

West Central’s Avery Pressler, Maelee Krempges, Morgan Haneke and Vera Jesse won the 400-meter relay (:51.39).

Colman-Egan’s Finley Luze, Quinn Meyer, Crystal Silva-Dominguez and Flatten won the 800-meter relay (1:48.30).

Flandreau’s Kiley Westberry, Rona Streitz, Ella Hoffman and Rhegan Sheppard won the 1,600-meter relay (4:08.52) while Westberry, Tenley LeBrun, Streitz and Faith Wiese won the 3,200-meter relay (10:33.81).

WC’s Hadley Borgen, Ashlynn Borns, Addison Jaspers and Lucy Rozeboom secured the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (4:35.64).

In the field events, Deubrook Area’s Kiana Schmit won the discus throw (109-07).

Brookings’ Abbigail Buisker secured the javelin throw (120-00) while teammate Kendis Sackreiter secured the shot put title (40-10.75).

CE’s Meyer won the high jump event (5-04).

Great Plains Lutheran’s Abigail Kjenstad won the long jump event (16-05.25).

Hamlin’s Addelyn Jensen secured the triple jump title (34-06.50).

In the boys’ meet, Brookings’ Caden Walsh won the 100-meter dash (:11.42) and 200-meter dash (:23.28) while teammates Jack Griggs secured the 400-meter race (:52.80) and Dylan Haar secured the 800-meter run (2:01.49).

West Central’s Peyton Tetzlaff captured the 1,600-meter run (4:49.89) while teammate Dominic Butts secured the 300-meter hurdles (:42.41).

Madison’s Dylan Gerdes won the 3,200-meter run (10:00.31) while teammate Shane Veenhof won the 110-meter hurdles (:14.52).

West Central’s Keenan Hacket, Chase Stromer, Peyton Barrick and Elliot DeJong won the 400-meter relay (:45.06) while Stromer, Barrick, DeJong and Boche Knight captured the 800-meter relay (1:33.28).

Stromer, Knight, DeJong and Brody Johnson won the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (3:57.22) as well.

Brookings’ Garret Ysbrand, Griggs, Ezra Eidem and Shane Harming won the 1,600-meter relay (3:31.68).

Madison’s Guillem Megias, Gerdes, Brody Finck and James Driscoll won the 3,200-meter relay (8:38.40).

In the field events, Milbank’s Lawson Novy won the discus throw (146-03).

Brookings’ Alex Wainman secured the javelin throw (173-03).

Chester’s JD Prorok captured the shot put title (48-06.50).

Milbank’s Bryton Blauert won the pole vault (13-04) while teammate Samuel Rick captured the long jump event (19-10.75).

Great Plains’ Lutheran’s Lucas Johnson secured the high jump title (6-00).

Deubrook Area’s Ty Landmark won the triple jump event (40-00.25).
