It’s an all-Dak-XII semifinal in Class 11A football.

All four teams remaining in 11A represent the Dak-XII conference, including at least one championship game appearance from each team in the past three seasons.

In the first matchup, No. 5 West Central (7-3) travels to No. 1 Sioux Falls Christian (10-0) in a rematch of the Trojans’ 24-0 season-opening loss to the SFC on Aug. 29.

Since then, the Trojans have suffered two more losses, both of which were by just one point against Dell Rapids (21-20) and Milbank (22-21).

West Central defeated Vermillion (34-10) to end the regular season before knocking off a tough Madison team (29-20) in the 11A quarterfinals.

The Trojans average 28.4 points per game while allowing 16.6 points per game defensively.

It’ll take on the top dog in 11A football and the only undefeated team remaining in the class, Sioux Falls Christian.

The Chargers have handled everyone in its path this season, winning every single game by at least 17 points this season.

SFC has also beat every other team in the top-5 prep media poll, defeating West Central (24-0), Lennox (17-0), Madison (42-6) and Dell Rapids (41-15). The Chargers have by far the best scoring offense and defense in 11A football, averaging 42.1 points per game while giving up just 6.4 points defensively.

The Chargers are led by sophomore quarterback Cooper Strande and returning all-stater Jensen Pixler.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 3 Lennox (8-2) and No. 2 Dell Rapids (7-3) battle it out on the gridiron for the second time in the last two weeks.

The Orioles were victorious in the first matchup, a 34-14 win in Dell Rapids, and will look to do it again in the semifinals.

Lennox’s only losses of the season came against the other two teams in the bracket in Sioux Falls Christian (17-0) and West Central (9-7).

The defending state champs are averaging 35.9 points per game while allowing just 13. 5 points per game defensively.

Dell Rapids is trying to make it back to the state championship for the third time in the last four years.

The Quarriers three losses came against Madison (21-20), Sioux Falls Christian (41-15) and Lennox (34-14), but have picked up wins over Milbank twice (36-7 and 38-13), Tri-Valley (22-14), West Central (21-20) and Rapid City Christian (43-8).

DR is averaging 26.5 points per game while giving up 19.2 points on defense per game, and are led by quarterback Drake Eastman and senior backs Kenny Swanson and Ryan Stubbe.
