Class 9AA state champ Hamlin lands six total players on all-Northeast Conference football team

Class 9AA state champ Hamlin had four players chosen to the all-Northeast Conference football team. The Chargers also had two players selected as honorable mention honorees. 

Hamlin, which defeated Parkston for the Class 9AA state championship, were represented by Evan Stormo, Zac VanMeeteren, Dawson Noem and Jackson Wadsworth. Easton Neuendorf and Aiden Abraham were honorable mention selections. 

Groton Area’s Christian Ehresmann, Korbin Kucker, Brevin Fliehs, Teyler Diegel, Keegen Tracy and Tucker Hardy were all-conference selections. Karter Moody and Ryder Johnson were honorable mention selections. 

Mobridge-Pollock’s Jackson Eisemann, Shane Henderson, Carter Hinsz and Mack Saxon were all-conference honorees. Wyatt Ziegler and Easton Eisemann were honorable mention honorees. 

Clark/Willow Lake’s Griffin Musser, Josh Kannegieter, Elliot Bratland, Emmerson Larson, Michael Severson and Jakob Steen selected to the all-conference team. Masyn Knock and Seth Poppen were honorable mention picks for Clark/Willow Lake. 

Aberdeen Roncalli’s Aiden Fisher, Zane Backus, James Behan, Noah Kramer and Brody Wienmeister were all-conference selections. Carter Samson and Tom Niederbaumer were honorable mention honorees. 

Milbank’s Emmett Hanson, Oliver Korth, Carter Gloe and Sam Rick were all-conference honorees. Jesse Schneck and Tate Schlueter were honorable mention selections. 

Gabe Sather, Reed VanWormer and Gavin Kloos were all-conference picks for Deuel. Ethan Prins and Carson Marko were honorable mention selections for the Cardinals. 

Britton-Hecla’s Bryce Hawkinson, Jaxon Zuehlke and Graham Fosness were all-conference honorees. Daniel Peterson and Dashel Davidson were honorable mention selections. 

Webster Area’s Isaac Zacher and Matthew Mount were all-conference honorees. Ian Lesner and Tate Mammenga were honorable mention selections. 

Sisseton’s Taylor Snaza was selected to the all-conference team, while teammates Hayden Hellwig and Ethan Falk were honorable mention honorees. 

Redfield's Camden Murray and Dylan Murray were all-conference selections. Connor Zens and Ethan Falk were honorable mention honorees. 

Clark/Willow Lake and Groton Area were co-champions of the NEC with 5-1 records, followed by Aberdeen Roncalli at 4-2, Mobridge-Pollock at 3-2, Deuel 2-4, Webster Area 1-5 and Sisseton 0-5. 

Hamlin, Britton-Hecla and Redfield play Class 9AA football, while Milbank in Class 11A does not play enough conference games to qualify.
