Winner’s Jaxon Day uncorked a South Dakota all-time top-10 mark in the discus throw on April 11. 

Day’s toss of 191-feet and six-inches broke the Winner school record, is currently one of the best throws in the nation and is a top-10 all-time throw in state history. Day sits atop the Class A boys discus standings, followed by Mobridge-Pollock’s Kellen Pfitzer (162-8) and Scotland/Menno’s Brooks Schoenfish (155-2).
