Yankton 69, Sioux Falls Jefferson 66 (OT)

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures as the Yankton Bucks knocked off Sioux Falls Jefferson in the semifinals of the Class AA state tournament Friday. 

Rugby Ryken powered Yankton with 24 points, five rebounds and six assists. Drew Ryken added 16 points, four rebounds and three assists while Michael Mors contributed with 11 points, four rebounds and three assists. 

Griffin Wilde led Sioux Falls  Jefferson with 21 points and five rebounds. Kaden Year finished with 17 points, six rebounds and four assists. 

Mitchell 61, Sioux Falls Lincoln 59

RAPID CITY — Four players scored in double figures as Mitchell advanced to the Class AA championship with a win over Sioux Falls Lincoln on Friday. 

Steele Morgan led Mitchell with 16 points and 11 rebounds while Markus Talley scored fourteen points and dished out three assists. Colton Smith and Dylan Soulek each scored 10 points for Mitchell. 

JT Rock led Lincoln with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Jack Hilgenberg scored 10 points with Tate Schafer chipping in with nine points. 

Harrisburg 65, Sioux Falls Washington 55

RAPID CITY — Four players scored in double figures as Harrisburg picked up a win over Sioux Falls Washington Friday in consolation action from the Class AA state tournament. 

Jacoby Mehrman led the Tigers with 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals. 

Ethan Determan added 14 points, four rebounds and four assists. Braeden VanBockern scored 13 points while Maxwell Knutson added 10 points. 

Tryg Auten led Sioux Falls Washington with 15 points, three rebounds and four assists. Cole Peterson scored nine points while Gage Gasca added eight points. 

Pierre 56, Sioux Falls Roosevelt 46

RAPID CITY — Benjamin Heisler and Lincoln Kienholz combined to score 40 points as Pierre defeated Sioux Falls Roosevelt in consolation action Friday from the Class AA state tournament. 

Heisler led the Governors with 23 points. Kienholz had a big game with 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Jackson Edman added eight points, thirteen rebounds and seven assists. 

Jack Radel led Sioux Falls Roosevelt with 10 points, three rebounds and two steals. Hayden Goff scored seven points while Abraham Kamars and Rilpuou Machol each scored six points.
