Sisseton 4, Warner/Ipswich/Northville 0

MILBANK — Rylan Anderson struck out 12 batters as Sisseton blanked Warner/Ipswich/Northville at the Heritage Classic on Friday.

Anderson allowed just three hits and a walk in seven shutout innings, striking out 12.

Kellen Rempp and Bradley Hansen each had an RBI on one hit while Anderson and Bryson Hanson each had two hits in the win. Levi Nelson drove in a run on a walk for Post 50 as well.

For WIN, Brayden Kroll took the loss in six innings of work, allowing three runs on eight hits and three walks, striking out five. Kroll totaled two hits in the loss.


Groton 8, Castlewood 0 (6 innings)

MILBANK — Jordan Schwan totaled three RBIs on three hits as Groton blanked Castlewood in the Heritage Classic on Friday.

Schwan batted 3-for-3 with a triple, homer and three RBIs, Gavin Englund and Carter Simon each had three hits and an RBI while TC Schuster and Jarrett Erdmann both drove in a run on one hit in the win.

Englund took the win on the mound in 5.2 shutout innings, allowing four hits and a walk, striking out eight.

For Castlewood, Kaden Nedved allowed eight runs on 12 hits in 5.2 innings, striking out seven.

Jax Tharaldsen had two hits while Brody Bass recorded a triple in the loss.


Volga 10, Claremont 0 (4 innings)

MILBANK — Braden Danzeisen tossed four shutout innings as Volga blanked Claremont in the Heritage Classic on Friday.

Danzeisen allowed two hits and five walks in four shutout innings, striking out six.

Broden Teske had three RBIs on one hit, Wyatt Hardt added two RBIs on a hit and two walks while Bret Milton, Danzeisen and Regan Schwartz each had an RBI in the win.

For Claremont, Case Reints took the loss in 3.1 innings, allowing 10 runs on five hits and seven walks, striking out three.

Kassen Keough and Grant Cutler each had a hit in the loss.


Milbank 11, Claremont 1 (4 innings)

MILBANK — Aiden Kelly totaled four RBIs as Milbank rolled to a Legion baseball win over Claremont in the Heritage Classic on Friday.

Kelly batted 3-for-3 with a walk and four RBIs, Mason Allen had two RBIs on a hit while Brady Allen and Tyler Heinje each had an RBI on a walk in the win. Kelly took the win on the mound in 2.1 innings, allowing one unearned run on one hit and four walks, striking out three.

For Claremont, Kassen Keough took the loss, allowing six runs on two hits and four walks, striking out two.

Rennan Bruns and Keough each had a hit in the loss.


Pierre 15, Spearfish 2 (5 innings)

PIERRE — Pierre pounded out 14 hits as Post 164 topped Spearfish in Legion action on Friday.

Sutton Sonnenschein had three RBIs on three hits and a walk, Will Eilers added two RBIs on three hits and a walk, Jackson Goodman, Alec Eilers and Will Danburg each tallied two RBIs while Carter Schiefelbein, Hudson Stoeser and Aydan Johnson each had one RBI in the win.

Danburg earned the win on the mound in a complete game, allowed two runs on four hits and four walks, striking out seven.

For Spearfish, Walker Viessman took the loss in one inning, allowing 11 unearned runs on nine hits and a walk.

Tucker Olson and Jack Scharf each had an RBI on one hit and one walk in the loss.


Pierre 10, Spearfish 0 (5 innings)

PIERRE — Hudson Shaffer tossed a five-inning no-hitter as Pierre swept Spearfish in a Legion doubleheader on Friday.

Shaffer allowed just two walks in five shutout innings, striking out two in the win. Porter Hunsley had two hits, a walk and two RBIs, Jackson Goodman added two hits, a walk, and an RBI, Carter Schiefelbein had two RBIs on one hit, Will Eilers added two hits and a walk while Alec Eilers tallied an RBI on a hit and two walks in the win.

For Spearfish, Jack Scharf took the loss in 2.2 innings, allowing seven runs on six hits and four walks, striking out one.


Helena (Mont.) 15, Aberdeen 3 (4 innings)

MILLARD — Aberdeen fell to Helena, Montana, in Legion baseball on Friday.

Branson Peterson took the loss in three innings pitched, allowing 11 runs on nine hits and two walks.

Joe Cogley, Benny Eisenbeisz and Drake Soderlund each had a hit while Wheeler Malsam had an RBI on a walk in the loss.


LaMoure (N.D.) 8, Big Stone City 0

BIG STONE CITY — Big Stone City was shutout by LaMoure, North Dakota, in Legion action on Friday.

Connor Ohm tossed six innings for the Badgers, allowing five runs on five hits and five walks, striking out six.

Ohm and Nick Hoffman each had a hit in the loss.


Alexandria (Minn.) 8, Madison 0 (5 innings)

MARSHALL — Madison was no-hit by Alexandria, Minnesota, in Legion action on Monday.

Braylon Oftedal allowed eight runs on the mound in four innings, along with 10 hits and two walks, striking out three. JD Prorok reached base on a walk for Post 25 in the loss.


DGF (Minn.) 2, Aberdeen 1

MILLARD — Aberdeen fell to Dilworth, Minnesota, during Legion action on Friday.

Porter Lozenski took the loss in six innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out four.

Jackson Post had three hits while Jehiel Aviles added two hits in the loss. Joe Cogley drove in a run as well.


Chamberlain 15, Letcher 14

LETCHER — Chamberlain outlasted Letcher in Legion action on Friday.

Cannon Speer tossed 3.1 innings, allowing 11 runs on 14 hits and three walks, striking out three.

Isaac Shepherd had four hits and three RBIs, Speer and Jeric Klegas each had two RBIs on a hit, Hunter Frederick had two hits, a walk, and an RBI, Fredrick Vanderley added two RBIs on two hits while London Houska, Cooper Gerard and Caleb Reimer each drove in a run on one hit in the win.

For Letcher, McCoy Schulz allowed 12 runs on 10 hits and four walks in 2.2 innings, striking out five.

Mathias Lindgren and Schulz each tallied four RBIs, Oscar Anderson each had three hits and an RBI, Payton Uecker added two RBIs on two hits, Jack Bartcher had two hits and an RBI, Cole Wilson and Will Simonds each had an RBI on one hit while Jayden Digmann and Kobie Schley each had two hits in the loss.

 

Winner/Colome 4, Wagner 1

WAGNER — Winner/Colome outlasted Wagner in Legion baseball action on Friday.

Carter Foster took the win on the mound in five innings pitched, allowing one run on one hit and eight walks, striking out seven.

Anderson and Jaxon Day each had two hits and an RBI in the win.

For Wagner, Javian Pesicka took the loss in six innings pitched, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks, striking out seven.

Malakai Segura had the lone hit in the loss for Wagner.
