Castlewood won the first ever Class B girls softball championship in 2023. While the Warriors have an obvious target on their back, through the first few weeks of the season, the defending champions look to be up to the task. 

Through nine games the Warriors are 7-2 with their only losses coming to Madison and Hanson. The Warriors currently have the top seed point number in Class B with 44.889 points.

Alcester-Hudson was the Class B runner-up a year ago. The Cubs are 5-2 on the season with their only losses coming to Madison and Arlington. 

This is the first season that Chester is playing softball and the Flyers are making the most of their inaugural year around the base paths. Heading into Friday’s home double-header the Flyers are 7-0.
