MITCHELL — Dakota Wesleyan University athletics has agreed to a multiple-year deal with LiveTicket.Tv as the exclusive streaming provider for Tiger Athletics.

LiveTicket.Tv covered over 100 home events for the Tigers during the 2024-25 season and will be providing the same high-quality streams going forward, with play-by-play commentary a feature of all broadcasts, regardless of sport.

Dakota Wesleyan University Athletic Director Ross Cimpl noted that LiveTicket is ideal for those who cannot support the Tigers in-person.

"The priority for our athletic department is to create a home field advantage and superior gameday atmosphere,” Cimpl said. “We also want to provide a quality experience for our families, alumni, boosters and fans who cannot make it to every game and that is why this partnership is so exciting. LiveTicket.Tv provides a great product that will highlight our players and programs."

Fans will continue to be able to watch all DWU varsity home contests for football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling and select track and field events through the GPAC Network, online, and through the Dakota Wesleyan Athletics mobile app, with all live footage produced and distributed by LiveTicket. Viewers can expect long-time local legend Tim Smith to be on the call for football and basketball contests, with other experienced commentators also delivering quality coverage.

Cimpl also noted that LiveTicket will provide exceptional promotion of the athletic department, its coaches, and student-athletes, while making varsity competitions accessible to Tiger fans no matter their location.

"We looked at as many options as possible for local and regional DWU fans and felt that LiveTicket was the perfect fit for our department, being able to provide equipment, workforce and the desire to promote Tiger Athletics to its fullest extent,” Cimpl said. “We are also excited at the proposition of streaming junior varsity contests along with our varsity competitions to further our own capabilities and provide more viewing opportunities for our fans."

Tiger fans will also be able to listen to games on the radio through long-time partner KMIT 105.9 FM, which will feature Rod Pattison as the voice of Tiger football and basketball on the air. Fans will be able to listen to all games through the station itself and pair DWU's high-quality livestreams through LiveTicket.Tv with the local and accessible radio coverage, thanks to our partnership with KMIT.

Both streaming and radio mediums will maximize partnership opportunities for the athletic department as well, with potential sponsors able to advertise across multiple platforms.
