Lyman 77, Philip 50 

PRESHO — Four players scored in double figures to power Lyman to a boys basketball win on Thursday. 

Lyman’s MJ Diehm totaled a game-high 25 points. Dawsen Volmer added 15 points and Cole Kieffer scored 11 points. Josiah Vaad had 10 points and Chace Seaboy scored seven points. Conway Collins had six points. 

For Philip, Jaxon Rhodes scored 16 points and Carson Burns had 11 points. Teagan Gropper and Weston Reedy scored nine points apiece. Carson Fugate had six points.


Dupree 72, Faith 44

DUPREE — Jayden Marshall powered Dupree to a boys basketball win over Faith on Thursday.

Marshall finished with 30 points and scored his 1,000th career point. Spencer Olsen and Cruz Birkeland had 15 points apiece. Dayson Kennedy added five points. 

For Faith, Tyler Martin scored 20 points. Cooper Schuelke added nine points and Tace Bergland had six points.


Freeman 70, Corsica-Stickney 27

FREEMAN — A balanced-scoring attack powered Class B No. 4 Freeman to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Freeman’s David Walter finished with 14 points, five rebounds and four steals. Tate Sorensen posted 10 points and three rebounds. Tayden Kerrigan added nine points, six steals, five rebounds and five assists. Luke Miller had nine points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals. Luke Peters had seven points, four rebounds and three assists. Oliver Waltner recorded eight points and six rebounds. Lane McCune totaled six points. 

For CS, Wyatt Timmermans totaled six points. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 68, Estelline-Hendricks 57

ELKTON — Three players scored in double figures to power Elkton-Lake Benton to a boys basketball win over Class B No. 10 Estelline-Hendricks on Thursday.

ELB’s Eliot Erickson finished with 15 points, while Ethan Wiskur and Colt Beck scored 11 points apiece. Beck hit three 3-pointers. Berkley Hemmen had eight points. Lane Schindler, Joseph Nibbe and Myles Poindexter scored seven points apiece.

For EH, Cade Hexem put in 20 points and five 3-pointers. Kameron Hauck scored 15 points and hit three 3-pointers. Drayden Cokens recorded 13 points and three 3-pointers. Kade Hauck had six points. 


Castlewood 58, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 27

CASTLEWOOD — Kamden Keszler powered Class B No. 1 Castlewood to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Keszler finished with a game-high 24 points, while Brody Bass added nine points. Will Aderhold totaled eight points and Tyson Manley scored seven points. Trevor Everson had four points and eight rebounds.

For ORR, Boyd Pooler scored nine points. Brodie Albertson added seven points.


James Valley Christian 81, Arlington 42

ARLINGTON — Noah Fast and Jayven Van Scharrel powered James Valley Christian to a boys basketball win over Arlington Thursday.

Fast finished with a game-high 21 points to go along with three rebounds and two steals, Van Scharrel added 11 points, 12 rebounds and a block, Keeghan Hood had nine points, Kaden Ober collected eight points, Kolby VanDerWerff had seven points and four rebounds, Jonah Miller tallied six points while Gavin Waldner had five points, five assists and three rebounds in the loss.

For Arlington, Miles Antonen had 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Paxton Rheault had seven points and 14 rebounds while Aiden Steffensen and Max Josephsen each had five points in the loss.


Burke 62, Kimball/White Lake 46

WHITE LAKE — Three players scored in double figures to lead Burke to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Burke’s Brody Indahl recorded 19 points and Masen Hausmann added 16 points. Bryson Indahl scored 12 points.

For KWL, Keaton Christensen finished with 25 points. Kamden Hamiel scored eight points. Colt Leiferman and Easton Nelson scored five points apiece.
