Colome 48, Burke 40 

BURKE — Colome outlasted Burke for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Colome’s Joseph Laprath tossed in 16 points and Kash Heath added 14 points. Alec Thieman scored nine points. 

Burke’s Reed Benter logged 22 points and hit six 3-pointers. Nick Nelson scored seven points. 


Canistota 61, Howard 56

HOWARD — Tage Ortman and Brandon Kjetland combined to score 47 points as Canistota held off Howard for a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Ortman finished with 25 points, while Kjetland added 22 points. Brady Scott finished with five points. 

Howard’s Luke Koepsell scored 21 points. Colby Claussen and Kolt Koepsell scored nine points apiece. Taiden Hoyer scored six points. 


Mount Vernon/Plankinton 78, Bon Homme 39

MOUNT VERNON — Three players scored in double figures to pace Mount Vernon/Plankinton to a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

MVP’s Reed Rus recorded 21 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and six steals. Jordan Stoltz added 14 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. Mason Hetland had 12 points. Brady Fox and Tyce Feistner had six points apiece. Zach Baker and Blaine Bohr had five points apiece. 


Viborg-Hurley 61, Menno 32

HURLEY — Nick Hanson and Kobee Sherman combined for 31 points to pace Viborg-Hurley to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Hanson finished with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Sherman added 14 points and four rebounds. Brady Schroedermeier had six points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. 

Menno’s Isaac Fergen finished with six points, while Cody Fischer had eight rebounds. 


Sioux Valley 73, Castlewood 48

VOLGA — Oliver Vincent tossed in 27 points and became Sioux Valley’s all-time assist leader in a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Vincent added nine rebounds, nine assists, six steals and three 3-pointers. Patrick Carey scored 18 points on six 3-pointers. Alec Squires logged 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Max Engebretson had six points and Bode Schiller scored six points. 

Castlewood’s Bryon Laue finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Lane Tvedt posted 12 points and Quincy Thu scored six points. 


Chester Area 59, Arlington 40

CHESTER — Jovi Wolf and Layke Wold combined for 36 points as Chester Area defeated Arlington in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Wolf led Chester Area with 21 points, six rebounds, three assists and five steals. Wold tossed in 15 points for Chester Area.

Kaden Steffensen led Arlington with 10 points. Blake Madsen had eight rebounds while Evan Fonseca grabbed seven rebounds for the Cardinals. 


Sully Buttes 68, Sunshine Bible Academy 43

ONIDA — Wesley Wittler and Thomas Farries combined for 33 points as Sully Buttes picked up a win over Sunshine Bible Academy in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Wittler led Sully Buttes with 22 points, five rebounds and five assists. Farries had 11 points and three assists while Tyler Marshall led the Chargers with nine rebounds. 

Daniel Gerbacht led Sunshine Bible Academy with 14 points and six rebounds while Owan Watson chipped in with 11 points. 


Northwestern 73, Redfield 56

REDFIELD — Quintin Fischbach pumped in 26 points and hit seven 3-pointers to power Northwestern to a boys basketball win over Redfield on Tuesday. The Wildcats finished with 12 3-pointers in the win. 

Nathan Melius added 16 points, while Lincoln Woodring recorded 13 points and three 3-pointers. Chase Neiber scored nine points and Jude Ortmeier had six points. 

Redfield’s Nolan Gall scored 20 points. Mitchell Mack added 18 points, while Zach Akin scored 10 points. Jerron Haider scored eight points and Tristen O’Daniel added six points. 


Wessington Springs 58, Hitchcock-Tulare 39

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Three players scored in double figures to pace Wessington Springs to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Ryder Michalek 18 points and 10 rebounds. Parker Graff added 13 points and four rebounds. Brock Krueger logged 12 points, nine rebounds and four rebounds. Blake Larson added seven points and six rebounds. 

Hitchcock-Tulare’s T.J. Salmen had 12 points and 12 rebounds. Jackson Maynard added 11 points and six rebounds. Riley Fliehe and Carter Binger scored six points apiece. 


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 46, Corsica-Stickney 45

CORSICA — Mason Reiner hit two free throws with 29 seconds left to lift Tripp-Delmont/Armour past Corsica-Stickney for a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Shad Bosma finished with 16 points, six rebounds and three assists. Carter Wright added 10 points and four rebounds. Lucas Krogstad had six points and five assists. Ty Hosman added five points. Tyson Wentland logged five rebounds and three points. 


Winner 62, Platte-Geddes 59

WINNER — Blake Volmer and Shawn Hammerbeck combined for 41 points as Class A No. 4 Winner picked up a win over Platte-Geddes in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Volmer stuffed the state sheet with 24 points, nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocked shots. Hammerbeck had 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Warriors. 

Tanner Dyk led Platte-Geddes with 13 points and six rebounds. Joey Foxley and Dawson Hoffman each had 11 points for the Black Panthers. 


Rapid City Christian 63, Spearfish 40

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures as Rapid City Christian picked up a win over Spearfish in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Benson Kieffer paced Rapid City Christian with 16 points. Elijah Hoyt added 13 points and eight rebounds while Julius Frog chipped in with 12 points. 


Vermillion 64, Wagner 42

VERMILLION — Vermillion pulled away from Wagner for a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Vermillion’s Carter Hansen and Zoan Robinson scored 16 points apiece. Trey Hansen added 11 points. 


West Central 46, Canton 35

HARTFORD — A balanced scoring attack helped West Central pick up a win over Canton in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Erik Seten powered West Central with 17 points. Crew Heier finished with eight points and five rebounds while Carter Schmiechel had six points and four assists. 

Jacob Vander Weerd led Canton with nine points while Matt Anderson chipped in with seven points. 


Tri-Valley 52, McCook Central/Montrose 41

SALEM — Noah Haynes and Trey Johnson combined for 34 points as Tri-Valley picked up a win over McCook Central/Montrose in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Haynes powered the Tri-Valley attack with 22 points and ten rebounds. Johnson finished with 12 points and six rebounds. 

Owen Alley led McCook Central/Montrose with 13 points and four rebounds. Mason Sabers and Isaac Kane each scored nine points for MCM. 


Pierre 73, Brookings 43

PIERRE — Pierre picked up a 30-point high school boys basketball win over Brookings on Tuesday.

Pierre’s Lincoln Kienholz netted 19 points, while Brecken Krueger added 14 points. Benjamin Heisler and Jackson Edman scored 12 and 10 points, respectively. Jacob Mayer scored eight points. 

Brookings’ Nathan Lease scored 12 points, while Owen Burns added seven points. Austin Clark scored six points. Griffen Bartels and Ben Moret scored five points apiece. 


Milbank 56, Waverly-South Shore 47 

WAVERLY — Milbank outscored Waverly-South Shore 15-11 in the fourth quarter to secure a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Milbank’s Joe Schulte finished with 16 points, while Garrett Mertens added 13 points, six rebounds and six assists. Justus Osborn logged nine points, four rebounds and four steals. Emmett Hanson had seven points and four rebounds. 

Waverly-South Shore’s Landon Haag scored 19 points. Owen Gilmour and Grant Holman added 10 points apiece. Holman had eight rebounds. Troy Kneeland added six points and four rebounds. 


Sioux Falls Washington 47, Mitchell 42

MITCHELL — Unranked Sioux Falls Washington knocked off Class AA No. 3 Mitchell in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Mandala Mohamed led the Warriors with 13 points and seven rebounds. AJ Akot and Gage Gasca each finished with 10 points for Sioux Falls Washington. 

Steele Morgan led Mitchell with 14 points and seven rebounds. Colton Smith added eight points while Dylan Soulek chipped in with seven points. 


Sioux Falls Roosevelt 70, Sioux Falls Lincoln 56

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 5 Sioux Falls Roosevelt pulled past Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Lincoln for a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Roosevelt’s Jackson Brouwer recorded 24 points, six 3-pointers and five rebounds. Abraham Kamara added 16 points and seven rebounds. Garang Kuol tallied eight points and six rebounds. Jack Radel and Naser Ismail had seven and six points, respectively. 

Lincoln’s Elijah Olson and Tate Schafer scored 14 points apiece. Olson nailed three 3-pointers. J.T. Rock logged seven points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots. Elliot Whitney added seven points, six rebounds and four assists. Braxton Mohr scored six points. Jack Smith had five rebounds.
