Sioux Falls Jefferson 62, Sioux Falls Lincoln 60 

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls Jefferson outlasted Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Lincoln in a boys basketball thriller on Friday.

Jefferson’s Taylen Ashley scored 20 points and grabbed four rebounds. Kaden Year added 18 points, eight rebounds and three 3-pointers. Mason Riley recorded 12 points and nine rebounds. Beau Giblin and Dawson Sechser scored five points apiece. 

Lincoln’s J.T. Rock recorded 18 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots. Elliot Whitney added 15 points, four assists and three 3-pointers. Elijah Olson scored nine points and Jack Hilgenberg scored eight points. 


White River 79, New Underwood 46 

WHITE RIVER — Joe Sayler and Nicolas Marshall combined to score 59 points to pace Class B No. 4 White River to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Sayler finished with 37 points and four 3-pointers, while Marshall added 22 points. Mackenzie Wike scored six points and Gavin Folkers added five points. 

New Underwood’s Jaxon Fulton scored 14 points, while Cole Knuppe added 12 points. Cash Albers scored 11 points and Eli Kelley had six points. 


Winner 52, Mobridge-Pollock 29

WINNER — Three players scored in double figures as Class A No. 4 Winner picked up a boys basketball win over Mobridge-Pollock on Friday. 

Blake Volmer powered Winner with 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Norman Chasing Hawk IV scored 14 points for Winner while Ethan Bartels had 10 points and six rebounds. 

Shane Henderson led Mobridge-Pollock with eight points while Jackson Eisemann chipped in with seven points. 


Canistota 60, Colman-Egan 54

CANISTOTA — Tage Ortman and Brandon Kjetland combined to score 44 points to pace Canistota to a boys basketball win on Friday. 

Ortman finished with 24 points, five assists and three rebounds. Kjetland added 20 points and 12 rebounds. Noah Kleinsasser recorded eight points and five rebounds. Brady Scott logged six points, seven rebounds and four assists. 

Colman-Egan’s Jase Mousel had 19 points, five 3-pointers, four rebounds and three assists. Jackson Zwart added 18 points, five rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers. Ben Zwart recorded seven points and four rebounds. Camden Schmidt scored five points, while Sawyer Uhing added five rebounds. 


De Smet 86, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 25 

DE SMET — Five players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 2 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Friday. 

De Smet’s Tom Aughenbaugh recorded 23 points and hit seven 3-pointers. Kasen Janssen added 19 points and seven rebounds. Damon Wilkinson finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds. George Jensen finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots. Kadyn Fast scored 10 points. Trace Van Regenmorter had six points. Gannon Gruenhagen added eight assists, four steals and three points. basketball win over Estelline-Hendricks on Friday. 

Castlewood’s Joe Decker finished with 15 points, while Booker Schooley added 12 points. Lane Tvedt posted 10 points. Jackson Schofield and Bowen Ryan scored eight points apiece. Jamison Keszler had seven points and Bryon Laue had six points. 

Estelline-Hendricks’ Braxton Saathoff recorded eight points, while Wyat James scored six points. Braxton Pravecek and Matt McAninch scored five points apiece. 


Wessington Springs 62, James Valley Christian 51

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Three players scored in double figures to pace Wessington Springs to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Wessington Springs’ Ryder Michalek finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Blake Larson added 16 points and seven rebounds. Parker Graff posted 14 points and seven rebounds. Jack Neely added five points and five rebounds. Brock Krueger had 10 rebounds and four points. 

James Valley Christian’s Landon Wallman and Landon Wager scored 14 points apiece. Wallman added seven rebounds. Isaac Korell and Dax Frandsen scored eight points apiece. Jerrad Wallman grabbed eight rebounds. 


Howard 62, Arlington 19 

HOWARD — Howard coasted past Arlington for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Howard’s Luke Koepsell finished with 20 points, while Colby Claussen added 11 points. Kolt Koepsell recorded eight points and Taiden Hoyer had five points.

Arlington’s Miles Antonen scored six points. 


Scotland 59, Menno 44

MENNO — Three players scored in double figures to pace Scotland to a boys basketball win over Menno Friday. 

Trenten Skorepa led Scotland with 16 points and five  rebounds. Ashton Dennis scored 13 points while Cole Friederich scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds. 

Blake Rames led Menno with 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Kadeyn Ulmer scored 10 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists. 


Jones County 78, Bennett County 59

MARTIN — Three players scored in double figures as Jones County earned a boys basketball win over Bennett County on Friday. 

Cooper Fedderson had a monster game with 32 points and 20 rebounds. Kaden Kinsley added 16 points while Jett Nix scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out five assists. 

Bodey Waln led Bennett County with 15 points. Lante Cottier had 13 points while Tyce Gropper scored 11 points for the Warriors. 


Milbank 52, Webster Area 31

MILBANK — Garrett Mertens and Joe Schulte combined for 30 points as Milbank earned a boys basketball win over Webster Area on Friday. 

Mertens led Milbank with 18 points and two assists. Schulte added 11 points, six rebounds and two steals while Jaxson Wildung added seven points and 13 rebounds. 

Mathew Mount led Webster Area with 11 points and three rebounds. 


Tiospa Zina 63, Redfield 48

REDFIELD — Nate Thompson and Juan Rios combined for 35 points as Tiospa Zina earned a road win over Redfield Friday. 

Thompson made six 3 pointers and finished with 22 points to lead Tiospa Zina. Juan Rios added 13 points while Storm Sierra scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds. 

Mitchell Mack led Redfield with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Jerron Haider scored 11 points while Justin Ratigan scored eight points and grabbed 17 rebounds.


Groton Area 70, Britton-Hecla 35

BRITTON — Cole Simon and Jacob Zak combined for 34 points as Groton Area picked up a boys basketball win over Britton-Hecla on Friday. 

Simon made four 3-pointers and finished with a game high 21 points for Groton Area. Zak added eight points while Lane Tietz chipped in with eight points. 

BoDell Davidson led Britton-Hecla with seven points. 


Sunshine Bible Academy 53, North Central 46

ROSCOE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Sunshine Bible Academy to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Nolan Triebwasser logged 22 points, while Daniel Gerbracht scored 13 points. Owan Watson had 11 points and Anthony Mitchell scored seven points. 

North Central’s Dawson Walz had 11 points and Bastien Delalande had 10 points. Cole Bukaske and Raynor Sprague scored seven points apiece. Cole Beitelspacher scored five points. 


Dakota Valley 86, Madison 67

MADISON — Five players scored in double figures as Class A No. 1 Dakota Valley earned a road win over Madison in boys basketball action Friday. 

Isaac Bruns powered Dakota Valley with 23 points, eight rebounds and two steals. Jaxson Wingert finished with 15 points and six rebounds with Randy Rosenquist scoring 10 points, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out five assists. Jaxon Hennies and Sam Faldmo each scored 10 points for Dakota Valley. 

Ben Brooks powered Madison with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Aiden Jensen and Charles Callahan each scored 15 points for the Bulldogs. 


West Central 60, Chamberlain 33

HARTFORD — A balanced scoring attack helped West Central earn a boys basketball win over Chamberlain on Friday. 

Erik Seten led the Trojans with 14 points. Owen Heath had 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals with Dylan Stromer also scoring 10 points. Crew Heier added eight points and nine rebounds for West Central.

Dakota Munger led Chamberlain with 12 points. 


Tea Area 63, Elk Point-Jefferson 53

TEA — Three players scored in double figures to lift Tea Area to a boys basketball win over Elk Point-Jefferson on Friday. 

Blake Thompson led Tea Area with 18 points, six assists and three steals. Reis Kirschenman added 15 points, while Jessen Wiebenga had 13 points and five rebounds. Sam Almas had five points and six rebounds. Jonah Kocer added three steals, five points and seven rebounds. 

EPJ’s Jakob Scarmon and Easton Kempf scored 13 points apiece. Kempf grabbed eight rebounds. Alexander Scarmon posted seven points. Devon Schmitz and Evan Fornia scored six points apiece. Fornia added five rebounds. 


Vermillion 60, Parker 32

PARKER — Vermillion knocked off Parker for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Vermillion’s Trey Hansen finished with 18 points and Carter Hansen added 13 points. Carter Skogsberg had nine points and 13 boards. 


Rapid City Stevens 56, Rapid City Central 40

RAPID CITY — Rapid City Stevens pulled away from rival Rapid City Central for a boys basketball win on Friday. 

Caden Dowling led Stevens with 10 points and five rebounds. Hayden Gebhart added eight points and four rebounds. Dayler Segrist posted eight points, five rebounds and four assists. Kaelem Brooks had seven points and seven rebounds. Madinko Hawley logged six points and seven rebounds. Nash Sobczak had five points and 10 rebounds. Minkah Hawley had five points. 

Central’s Jon Suarez finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Shun-Zi White Woman added 10 points and six rebounds. Cooper Totten scored eight points, while Tyson Waters had five points and five rebounds. 


Aberdeen Central 59, Brookings 49 

BROOKINGS — Spencer Barr and Karson Carda combined to score 34 points to pace Aberdeen Central to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Barr tossed in 23 points and hit six 3-pointers. Carda added 11 points and five rebounds. Carter Dingman and Parker Lemer scored eight points apiece. Jett Carlson had 11 rebounds and three points. 

Brookings’ Austin Clark logged 17 points, five rebounds, four steals and three 3-pointers. Nathan Lease had 11 points and five rebounds. Owen Burns added six points and six rebounds. Sam Conrad tallied three points, four rebounds and five assists. 


Watertown 69, Huron 57

WATERTOWN — Four players scored in double figures to pace Watertown to a boys basketball win on Friday. 

Kohen Kranz finished with 18 points, six rebounds and five assists. Dylon Rawdon finished with 17 points, six assists and four rebounds. Jake Olson had 13 points, while Caden Beauchamp had 12 points. 

Huron’s Reilyn Zavesky scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Dylan Lichty posted 13 points. Mason Davis and Anderson Porisch scored six points apiece.
