Winner 48, Platte-Geddes 40

WINNER — Three players scored in double figures as Winner held off Platte-Geddes for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Winner’s Aiden Schroeder and Carter Craven finished with 12 points apiece. Schroeder had eight rebounds and Craven totaled seven boards. Shawn Hammerbeck scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He added four assists. Ryder Halligan scored nine points on three 3-pointers

For Platte-Geddes, Hayden Sprik totaled 18 points on six 3-pointers. Jye Bailey scored eight points and Braxton Breukelman scored seven points. Max Miller had five points. 


Castlewood 61, Sioux Valley 42

VOLGA — Bryon Laue powered Class B No. 2 Castlewood to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Laue finished with 25 points and 17 rebounds. Brody Bass added 14 points, while Jamison Keszler logged eight points. Kamden Keszler and Tyson Manley scored six points apiece.

For Sioux Valley, Brock Christopherson finished with 20 points and Maverick Nelson scored seven points. Levi Loban had six points. 


Mitchell 67, Sioux Falls Washington 59

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures as Class AA No. 2 Mitchell defeated Sioux Falls Washington in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Markus Talley totaled 24 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals. Colton Smith added 17 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Gavin Hinker had 11 points and six rebounds. Parker Mandel scored five points.

For Washington, Lucas Johnson scored 17 points and Ben Sprecker added 14 points. Tommy Hoffman had nine points and three rebounds. Jhace Woods and Sam Uhing scored seven points apiece. Sam Baskin added five points.


Dell Rapids St. Mary 66, Centerville 47

CENTERVILLE — Trevon Beckman and Maverick LeBrun combined for 52 points during Class B No. 3 Dell Rapids St. Mary clipped Centerville during Tuesday’s high school boys basketball action.

Beckman had 27 points while LeBrun netted 25 points in the win.

Centerville’s Aiden Bobzin had 17 points, four rebounds and three steals, Miles Eide tallied 10 points and three rebounds while Alec Austin and Corbin Tople each had six points in the loss.


West Central 85, Canton 34

HARTFORD — A balanced scoring attack helped Class A No. 4 West Central run past Canton in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Carter Tetzlaff powered West Central with 15 points while Will Kuhl added 12 points. Luke Knight scored 12 points and Connor Mebius, Hayden Heier and Elliot DeJong each scored 10 points. 

Alex Rhead led Canton with 12 points and Corbin Winquist chipped in with six points. 

 

Wessington Springs 61, Kimball/White Lake 37

KIMBALL — Three players scored in double figures to pace Wessington Springs to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Colby Flowers led the Spartans with 17 points. Parker Graff and Karter Mebius added 12 and 11 points, respectively. 

KWL stats were not reported. 

 

Hamlin 61, Britton-Hecla 16

BRITTON — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class A No. 2 Hamlin to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Hamlin’s Easton Neuendorf recorded 13 points, while Zac VanMeeteren added 11 points. Evan Stormo scored 10 points and Jackson Wadsworth added nine points on three 3-pointers. Boden Stevenson scored six points and Aiden Abraham scored five points.

For BH, Chaz Vietor and Jaxon Zuehlke scored four points apiece. 

 

Estelline-Hendricks 75, De Smet 61

ESTELLINE — Four players scored in double figures to pace Estelline/Hendricks to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Kyler Carlson finished with 20 points and four assists in the win. Wyat James added 16 points and 10 boards. Cade Hexem and Matthew McAnich scored 11 points apiece. Hexem added five rebounds, while McAnich had eight boards. Braxton Jongeling had seven points and Kameron Hauck posted five points. 

For De Smet, Grant Wilkinson finished with 24 points and 15 rebounds. Slayten Wilkinson added 12 points and five boards. Ganon Henrich added 10 points, three rebounds and three assists. Noah Luethmers had eight points. Carter Wilkinson had five points and five rebounds.


McCook Central/Montrose 68, Tri-Valley 60

SALEM — Three players scored in double figures to power McCook Central/Montrose to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

MCM’s Jackson Schmidt finished with 22 points, five rebounds and three 3-pointers. Lane Deutsch added 20 points, six 3-pointers and four rebounds. Mason Sabers had 17 points, five assists and three rebounds. Zane McCormick had five points and five rebounds. Ben Wiebersick posted three points, four assists, three steals and 10 rebounds.

For TV, Ty Oyen had 19 points, six rebounds and three 3-pointers. Teagin Gacke had 14 points and three 3-pointers. Alex Wingen posted 12 points on four 3-pointers and added three rebounds. Brady Jewett had 11 points and four rebounds. 


Northwestern 86, Redfield 52

MELLETTE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Northwestern to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Northwestern’s Jack Hansen recorded 21 points, four steals and three rebounds. Talon Miller tallied 12 points, while Carson Ewalt had 11 points and five rebounds. William Clemens had 12 points and five boards. Jarren Haven and Ty Boekelheide had seven points apiece. Dallas Stoltenberg had six points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals. 

For Redfield, Ruben Alvarez had 22 points, 10 rebounds and six steals. Grady Hulscher finished with 11 points, while Ethan Falk added nine points and four rebounds. 


Deuel 71, Sisseton 57

CLEAR LAKE — Four players scored in double figures to pace Deuel to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Deuel’s Gabe Sather recorded 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Jaxon Peterreins posted 15 points and four assists. Caden Finnesand recorded 13 points and four rebounds. Troy Jenson had 11 points and four assists. Kyle Finnesand and Caleb Ronne scored six points apiece. 

For Sisseton, Josh Donnell and Derrick Flute scored 14 points apiece. Dana Bravebull scored eight points and Vincent Donnell added six points. 


Viborg-Hurley 69, Scotland-Menno 21

HURLEY — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 1 Viborg-Hurley to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

VH’s Nick Hanson finished with 16 points and seven rebounds. Owen Niederbaumer posted 16 points and eight rebounds. Braydyn Morrison had 12 points. Brady Schroedermeier added six points, six assists and three rebounds. 

For Scotland-Menno, Izayah Ulmer had nine points and Treytan Bult had five points. 


Chester 60, Arlington 30

CHESTER — Three players scored in double figures as Chester doubled up Arlington for a boys basketball victory on Tuesday. 

Jaxton Opdahl led Chester with 15 points. Carter Vogel (14) and Layke Wold (10) combined for 24 points and JD Prorok chipped in with eight rebounds and five assists. 

Paxton Rheault led Arlington with 10 points. 


Burke 64, Colome 23

BURKE — Burke coasted past Colome for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Burke’s Brody Indahl scored 13 points and Eli Bartling added nine points.

For Colome, Jonah Musser had 10 points.


Pierre 67, Brookings 47

PIERRE — Pierre pulled away from Brookings for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Pierre’s Dawson Getz finished with 17 points, while Luke Olson scored 13 points. Lincoln Dilges had 12 points. 

Bergan Tetzlaff had 20 points for Brookings. 


Brandon Valley 67, Tea Area 63 (OT)

TEA — Landon Dulaney and Austin Dowd scored 21 points apiece to power Class AA No. 3 Brandon Valley to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Dulaney finished with 21 points, eight rebounds, three 3-pointers and three assists. Dowd had 21 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Briggs Knutson posted seven points, three rebounds and three assists. Micah Mayen posted 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers. Lincoln McInerney had six points. 

For Tea Area, Gavin Shawd posted 29 points and three rebounds. Marshall Smythe posted 12 points and three assists. Grifin Wiebenga totaled 11 points and five rebounds. Jaxson Merrigan had nine points and seven rebounds. Mitch Grant grabbed six rebounds. 


Watertown 60, Aberdeen Central 51

ABERDEEN — Watertown pulled away from Aberdeen Central for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Watertown’s Kaden Decker recorded 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Carter Buisker added 11 points and four assists. Mitch Olson added seven points and four rebounds. Jackson McClemans had six points and five rebounds. Gabe Norberg had five points, three rebounds and three assists.

For Aberdeen Central, Brendan Phillips finished with 22 points, four rebounds, four 3-pointers and three assists. Colby Dauwen added 15 points, three 3-pointers and three assists. Luke Swanson added nine points, five rebounds and four assists.
