Sioux Falls O’Gorman 63, Mitchell 47

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures as Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls O’Gorman won its 46th straight girls basketball game on Friday. 

O’Gorman’s Sydney Terveen and Ruby Moore finished with 12 points apiece. Julia Eggert added 11 points and Sadie Mehrman scored nine points. Ellie Meyer added eight points and Tyla Mauney scored five points.

For Mitchell, Lauren VanOverschelde scored 16 points and Addie Siemsen finished with 15 points. Kenzie Peterson scored six points and CeCe Morgan had five points. 

Sioux Falls Washington 63, Rapid City Stevens 59

SIOUX FALLS — Four players scored in double figures as Class AA No. 3 Sioux Falls Washington clipped Class AA No. 4 Rapid City Stevens in girls basketball action on Friday.

Washington’s Dana Harpe finished with 16 points and three rebounds. Josie Biteler added 14 points and nine rebounds. Claire Woods recorded 12 points, eight assists and four rebounds. Rylan Kennett totaled eight points and nine rebounds.

For Stevens, Taaliyah Porter finished with a game-high 21 points and grabbed four rebounds. Halle Peterson posted 11 points and four rebounds. Finley Love had six points and six assists. Mackenzie Schreiber had six points and Brittany Jones added five points. 

Sioux Falls Roosevelt 62, Pierre 54

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Roosevelt outlasted Pierre for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Roosevelt’s Henlee Loof tossed in 20 points for the Rough Riders. 

Pierre’s Lennix DuPris poured in a game-high 28 points in the loss.
