The SDHSAA has updated the Class 9AA football pairings for the upcoming Oct. 23 first round of the playoffs.

Originally, No. 13 Great Plains Lutheran was supposed to travel to No. 4 Hamlin and No. 5 Hill City was scheduled to host No. 12 Scotland-Menno.

After a correction in the seed point tiebreakers, Hill City is now the No. 4 seed and will host No. 13 Great Plains Lutheran, while No. 5 Hamlin will now host No. 12 Scotland-Menno.

Bennett County and De Smet were switched after a correction in tiebreakers on the other side of the bracket as well.

No. 15 Bennett County, which was scheduled to travel No. 2 Elkton-Lake Benton, will now play No. 3 Parkston Thursday as the No. 14 seed. De Smet, originally scheduled to play Parkston as the No. 14 seed, will now travel to ELB as the No. 15 seed in 9AA.
