MENNO — Freeman boys and Colman-Egan girls captured team titles at Thursday’s Menno Relays. 

The Freeman boys totaled 139.5 points, followed by Scotland/Menno (114.5) and Sioux Falls Lutheran (92). The Colman-Egan girls scored 134 points, followed by Arlington (104) and Freeman (91). 

On the boys side, Freeman’s Alaric Knittel, Tate Sorensen, David Walter and Luke Peters won the 400-meter relay (:45.75). Peters, Luke Miller, Tate Sorensen and Brody Sorensen won the 800-meter relay (1:33.90). 

Knittel added a first-place finish in the javelin (133-10) and a second-place finish in the shot put (44-11.25). Peters won the 100-meter dash (:11.92). 

Sioux Falls Lutheran’s Jake Hohn captured first-place finishes in the 200-meter dash (:23.64) and long jump (21-0). Hohn teamed up with Jakob Stubkjaer, Ka’Marrien Garcia and Owen Gilster to win the sprint medley relay (3:43.31). 

Bridgewater-Emery’s Holden Wollmann won the 400-meter dash (:50.30) and the 800-meter run (2:03.51). Mitchell Christian’s Silas Holdeman won the 1,600-meter run (4:36.81) and 3,200-meter run (10:24.27). 

Hanson’s Stetson Riggs won the 300-meter hurdles (:46.17) and finished second in the 110-meter hurdles (:18.96). Canistota’s Caleb Schroeder won the 110-meter hurdles (:17.06) 

Hanson’s Jason Porth, Jett Jager, Hudson Oltmanns and Cole Dewald won the 1,600-meter relay (3:40.19). Porth added a first-place finish in the triple jump (39-7). 

The Scotland/Menno quartet of CJ Bjorum, Luke Bierle, Daniel Schaeffer and Mirik Vaith won the 3,200-meter relay (9:35.00). Scotland/Menno’s Brooks Schoenfish won the shot put (45-8) and discus (147-5). 

Arlington’s Jake Burns won the pole vault (12-0) and Mitchell Christian’s Micah Menning won the high jump (5-10). 

On the girls side, Colman-Egan’s Jolie Flatten won the 100-meter dash (:12.88) and 400-meter dash (1:00.65). Flatten teamed up with Avery Baumberger, Finley Luze and Crystal Silva-Dominguez to win the 400-meter relay (:52.54). 

Baumberger, Luze, Brynlee Landis and Flatten won the 800-meter relay (1:49.33). Baumberger added a first-place finish in the long jump (15-5), followed by Silva-Dominguez (15-1). 

Colman-Egan’s Michoen Williamson won the shot put (34-10.5) and finished second in the discus (96-3). Colman-Egan’s Emmalyn Pickard won the discus (98-7). 

Freeman’s Vaida Ammann won the 200-meter dash (:28.03). Ammann teamed up with Cadence Hofer, Rylee Peters and Landrei Baker to win the 1,600-meter relay (4:17.38). 

Arlington’s Natalie DeCurtins won the 800-meter run (2:41.86). Arlington’s Kaelyn Ulschmid earned first-place finishes in the 1,600-meter run (5:52.43) and 3,200-meter run (13:36.89). Ulschmid and DeCurtins teamed up with Maria Steffensen and Madalyn Madsen to win the 3,200-meter relay (10:58.16). Arlington’s Halley Miller won the 300-meter hurdles (:51.35).

Canistota’s Katelyn Bond won the 100-meter hurdles (:18.63) 

Sioux Falls Lutheran’s Ainslee Pluim, Elyse Prouty, Bridget Miller and Clara Pederson won the sprint medley relay (4:37.40). SFL’s Kiersten Bjordahl won the high jump (4-11). 

Scotland/Menno’s Kylie Guthmiller won the javelin throw (103-1). Scotland/Menno’s Taylor Didomenico won the pole vault (7-0). 

Hanson’s Skylar Kayser won the triple jump (29-8).
