VERMILLION — The two-time defending Class B state boys track  champions from Gregory opened their season with a number of quality performances at Tuesday’s Dan Lennon Invitational. 

Max Cook won the 400-Meter Dash (:54.32), Luke Barreto the 3,200-Meter run (10:34.18), Jhett Eklund the triple jump (40-7). The 1600-Meter Sprint Medley Relay team of Paul Sinclair, Pierce Stukel and Finn Adams won their event with a time of 3:53.90). ]

The Colman-Egan girls picked up wins from Jolie Flatten in the 400-Meter Dash (1:02.95), Quinn Meyer in the high jump (5-00) and the 1,600-Meter Relay team of Presley Luze, Crystal Silva-Dominguez, Finley Luze and Jolie Flatten with a time of 4:36.56.
