Featured in the interior post of the Huskers' 3-3-5 defense at nose tackle, Hutmacher recorded a total 24 tackles, 15 solo, 4 tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble this past season.
For his career, Hutmacher recorded 79 total tackles, 34 solo, 12.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 2 pass deflections.

Heading into Thursday’s game, Hutmacher has caught the attention of some in attendance of the shrine bowl practices.
"Hutmacher was a one-man wrecking crew in the middle of the defensive line Saturday. He's a powerful bulldozer who ran over opponents during drills and scrimmage…," according to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda.
Hutmacher is one of two Huskers selected for the East-West Shrine Bowl joining wide receiver Isaiah Neyor.
The East-West Shrine game will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
The NFL Draft starts April 24 and runs through the 26.
