Tripp-Delmont/Armour 62, Platte-Geddes 48

PLATTE — Tripp-Delmont/Armour pulled away from Platte-Geddes for a boys basketball win on Friday.

TDA’s Mason Reiner scored 19 points, while Isaac Wunder added 18 points. Riley Spaans logged 10 points, while Colby Brown and Jaden Groeneweg scored six points apiece. 

Platte-Geddes’ Dawson Hoffman scored 16 points. Tanner Dyk and Trevor Rolland scored 10 points apiece. Parker Bailey added five points. 


White River 59, Colome 40

MURDO — Joe Sayler and Nic Marshall combined for 47 points to power Class B No. 1 White River to a Jones County Invitational boys basketball win on Friday. White River will play Philip in the JCI title game on Saturday.

Sayler finished with 32 points and hit three 3-pointers. Marshall added 15 points. TJ. Beardt scored six points. 

Colome’s Joseph Laprath scored 12 points, while Eli Vobr added nine points. Kash Heath scored seven points, while Trey Thieman and Alec Thieman scored five points apiece. 


Philip 57, Jones County 48

MURDO — Philip pulled past Jones County for a Jones County Invitational boys basketball win on Friday. Philip will play White River in the JCI title game on Saturday.

Philip’s Samuel Hand tossed in a game-high 22 points. Lane Kuchenbecker added 13 points and hit three 3-pointers. Bryce Westby had 10 points and Jess Jones logged five points. 

Jones County’s Kaden Kinsley finished with 15 points. Jett Nix scored 11 points and Cooper Feddersen had 10 points. Gunnar Whitney and Jace Nix scored six and five points, respectively.

 



Belle Fourche 57, Redfield 54

REDFIELD — Belle Fourche held off Redfield for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Belle Fourche was led by Anthony Budmayr with 20 points, while Jet Jensen tallied 14 points. Anthony Staley had nine points, while Tatin Yackley and Nolan Wahlfeldt each had six points. Wahlfeldt added 10 rebounds.

Redfield’s Jerron Haider tallied 20 points, while Nolan Gall recorded 14 points. Justin Ratigan had 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Mitchell Mack had six points and 13 rebounds. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 54, Ponca, Neb., 46

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson picked up a boys basketball win over Ponca, Neb. on Friday.

Elk Point-Jefferson’s Easton Kempf tallied 14 points, while Jakob Scarmon had 10 points. Alexander Scarmon had eight points, while Chace Fornia added six points and 11 rebounds.


Estelline/Hendricks 58, Deubrook Area 54

DEUBROOK — Three players reached double-figures as Estelline/Hendricks earned a road win Friday over Deubrook Area. 

Braxton Saathoff paced the Redhawks with 16 points. Joseph McAninch pumped in 15 points with Wyat James contributing 11 points for the win. 

Treven Grimsrud led Deurbrook Area with 15 points with  Landon Johnson adding 13 points for the Dolphins. 


Madison 64, Flandreau 34

FLANDREAU — Andrew Comes and Aiden Jensen combined for 35 points to pace Madison to a boys basketball win over Flandreau on Friday.

Comes tossed in 20 points, while Jensen added 15 points. 

Flandreau’s Paul Parsley scored 14 points and Luke Sheppard scored six points. 


Leola/Frederick Area 56, Oakes, N.D., 45

OAKES, N.D. — Leola/Frederick Area picked up a boys basketball win over Oakes, N.D., on Friday.

Noah Kippley scored 18 points, while Brayden Sumption added 15 points. Connor Spitzer scored nine points. 


Mitchell 68, Brookings 31

MITCHELL — A balanced scoring attack helped Mitchell earn a win over Brookings in high school basketball action Friday. 

Colton Smith and Dylan Soulek each scored 11 points to pace the Kernels. Steele Morgan added nine points, Markus Talley had eight points and Aiden Myers finished with seven points.

Nathan Lease paced Brookings with nine points and four rebounds.  


Sioux Falls Lincoln 83, Huron 48

HURON — Sioux Falls Lincoln had a trio of players reach double figures helping the team to a win over Huron on Friday. 

Elliot Whitney’s hot shooting night fueled the Patriots as he finished with 17 points. JT Rock added 13 points and six rebounds while Elijah Olsen added 12 points in the win. 

CJ Gainey led Huron with 14 points with Reilyn Zavesky and Dawsyn Rogers combining for 22 points. 


Sioux Falls Jefferson 65, Sioux Falls Washington 56

SIOUX FALLS — Taylen Ashley and Griffin Wilde combined for 45 points and 13 rebounds to power Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls Jefferson to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Ashley finished with 25 points, six rebounds and four 3-pointers. Wilde added 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Kaden Year had nine points and seven rebounds. Beau Giblin logged six points. 

Sioux Falls Washington’s A.J. Akot scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds. Gage Gasca added 10 points and five rebounds. Daniel Sanchez recorded nine points, four rebounds and four assists. Mandalla Mohamed finished with eight points and five assists. Zaharic Sheppard and Cole Peterson scored seven and six points, respectively. 


Yankton 59, Watertown 43

WATERTOWN — Three players scored in double figures to pace Yankton to a boys basketball win over Watertown on Friday.

Yankton’s Michael Mors finished with 16 points. Drew Ryken netted 14 points, while Cody Oswald added 12 points and four assists. Mac Ryken had nine points, six rebounds and five assists. Rugby Ryken logged four points, four rebounds and seven assists. 

Watertown’s Kohen Kranz scored 13 points. Dylon Rawdon added nine points and four assists, while Marcus Rabine had five points.
