GREGORY — Gregory clipped Platte-Geddes in boys basketball action on Monday.

Daniel Mitchell finished with a game-high 18 points, including an old-fashioned 3-point play in the closing seconds to help secure the win. Noah Bearshield added 13 points. Rane Kenzy and Jack Bolander scored nine and eight points, respectively. 

Platte-Geddes’ Tanner Dyk scored 13 points, while Dawson Hoffman added 11 points. Hayden Sprik and Parker Bailey scored 10 and eight points, respectively. 

 

 

Winner 68, Parkston 61

WINNER — Winner held off Parkston for a boys basketball win on Monday. 

Aiden Barfuss led the Warriors with 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Blake Volmer added 19 points, 12 boards and seven assists. Shawn Hammerbeck logged six points and five rebounds. Ryder Halligan scored five points. 

Parkston’s Sam Benson scored 21 points, while Will Jodozi finished with 20 points. James Deckert had 11 points, while Kaleb Weber posted seven points. 

 

Leola/Frederick Area 73, Wilmot 34

FREDERICK — Leola/Frederick Area coasted to a boys basketball win over Wilmot on Monday. 

Brayden Sumption netted 13 points, while Stephen Achen and Milo Sumption scored eight points apiece. 

Wilmot stats were not reported.
