Platte-Geddes 71, Chamberlain 51

CHAMBERLAIN — Platte-Geddes used a balanced scoring attack to pick up a boys basketball win over Chamberlain on Tuesday.

Tanner Dyk led the Black Panthers with 22 points. Joey Foxley added 15 points, while Dawson Hoffman scored 11 points. Hayden Sprik and Parker Bailey scored nine and eight points, respectively. 

Chamberlain’s Dakota Munger recorded 14 points, while Collin Two Strike and Kenyon McCloskey scored 10 points apiece. Conner Hickey and Levi Miller scored six and five points, respectively. 


Mount Vernon/Plankinton 66, Gregory 62

PLANKINTON — Mount Vernon/Plankinton edged Gregory for a boys basketball victory on Tuesday.

Zach Baker recorded 17 points, four rebounds, three 3-pointers and three assists. Reed Rus added 15 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. Jordan Stoltz and Mason Hetland posted nine points apiece. Stoltz added five rebounds and five blocked shots. Hetland collected eight rebounds. Chris Mayer scored six points, while Blaine Bohr had five points. 

Gregory’s Daniel Mitchell tossed in 21 points and Jackson Bolander added 17 points. Cruz Klundt scored 15 points and Noah Bearshield added nine points. 


Sioux Falls Lincoln 74, Watertown 60

SIOUX FALLS — J.T. Rock powered Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Lincoln to a boys basketball win over Watertown on Tuesday.

Rock recorded 30 points, nine rebounds, five assists, three 3-pointers and broke one of Lincoln’s rims on a slam dunk in the second quarter. The rest of the game was played at Lincoln’s auxiliary gym. 

Tate Schafer added 11 points, four rebounds and three 3-pointers. Eli Olson posted nine points, while Jack Hilgenberg finished with six points, five rebounds and five assists. Jack Smith scored six points, while Elliot Whitney had five points and five assists. 

Watertown’s Caden Beauchamp recorded 25 points and four rebounds. Jake Olson logged 16 points, four rebounds and four assists. Will Engstrom and Kohen Kranz finished with five points apiece. Kranz added five rebounds. Dylon Rawdon posted five rebounds and four points. 

 

Winner 64, Miller 50

MILLER --- Blake Volmer powered Class A No. 5 Winner to a boys basketball win over Miller on Tuesday.

Volmer logged 30 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Shawn Hammerbeck added 11 points, while Aiden Barfuss finsihed with eight points, seven rebounds and five assists. Norman Chasing Hawk IV had six points, while Pierce Nelson scored five points. 

Miller's Alex Schumacher logged 20 points, while Trevor Werdel had 12 points and seven rebounds. Dylan Hass scored seven points and Isaak Hunter had six points. 


Avon 47, Menno 26

MENNO — Three players scored in double figures to pace Avon to a boys basketball win over Menno on Tuesday. 

Avon’s Trace Pelton posted 17 points, 13 rebounds and three steals. Landon Thury recorded 13 points and 14 rebounds. Aziah Meyer scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Jaden Stahl dished out five assists.

Menno’s Ajay Herrboldt scored nine points. Kaedyn Ulmer added five assists and three steals. 


Alcester-Hudson 56, Centerville 54 (OT)

CENTERVILLE — Alcester-Hudson outlasted Centerville in overtime in boys basketball action on Tuesday. 

Alcester-Hudson’s Ethan Bovill and Dominic Van Egdom scored 17 points apiece, while Van Egdom added nine rebounds. Jose Topete-Lopez had eight rebounds. 

Centerville’s Logan Bobzin finished with 20 points and four rebounds. Aiden Bobzin posted eight points, eight rebounds and four assists. Brennan Tople logged eight points and four rebounds. Miles Eide finished with seven points, while Alec Austin added six points and eight rebounds. 


Viborg-Hurley 47, Canistota 45

HURLEY — Viborg-Hurley edged Canistota for a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Viborg-Hurley’s Nick Hanson recorded 23 points and 11 rebounds. Gage Goettertz posted seven rebounds. 


Dell Rapids 63, Flandreau 30 

FLANDREAU — Dell Rapids recorded 33-point boys basketball win over Flandreau on Tuesday.

Dell Rapids’ Brayden Pankonen tossed in 15 points and scored his 1,000th career point. Camden Justice scored 15 points. 

Flandreau’s Paul Parsley scored 11 points, while Luke Sheppard added 10 points. 


Mobridge-Pollock 60, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 48 

EAGLE BUTTE — Mobridge-Pollock pulled away from Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Jackson Eisemann recorded 17 points and Michael Wald added 14 points. Kobe Goodshield scored 13 points, while Shane Henderson logged eight points. 

CEB’s Tigh Garreau tossed in 15 points, while Austin Johnson scored seven points. Easton Lawrence added five points. 

 

Sully Buttes 57, Jones County 54

MURDO — Wesley Wittler and Landon Hepker combined to score 38 points to pace Sully Buttes to a boys basketball win over Jones County. 

Wittler finished with 20 points, while Hepker added 18 points. Wittler hit five 3-pointers and Hepker had four 3-pointers. Thomas Farries finished with seven points and Marshall Wittler added six points. 

Jones County’s Jett Nix logged 20 points, while Cooper Feddersen added 10 points. Nix and Feddersen had nine rebounds apiece. Gunnar Whitney posted nine points and Bryer Kinsley had seven points. Kaden Kinsley added five points and six assists. 


Castlewood 70, Waubay-Summit 43

CASTLEWOOD — Three players scored in double figures to pace Castlewood to a boys basketball win over Waubay-Summit on Tuesday.

Lane Tvedt finished with 16 points, while Joe Decker scored 14 points. Bryon Laue added 13 points and eight rebounds. Jackson Schofield finished with eight points and Booker Schooley added seven points. Jamison Keszler scored five points. 

Waubay-Summit’s Damon Opdahl finished with 13 points and six rebounds. Jonathon Johnston recorded 12 points, while Jackson Wohlleber had 10 points. Brady Lindholm scored six points. 


Ethan 60, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 38 

FORESTBURG — Ethan pulled away from Sanborn Central/Woonsocket for a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Ethan’s Riley Endres finished with 22 points, while Wyatt Sinkie had 13 points and six rebounds. Taite Klumb had 10 points and five bounds. 

SCW’s Jeff Boschee poured in 23 points and grabbed four rebounds. Toby Kneen scored six points. 

 

Tripp-Delmont/Armour 72, Gayville-Volin 30 

TRIPP — Four players scored in double figures to pace Tripp-Delmont/Armour to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

TDA’s Jaden Groeneweg scored 15 points, while Isaac Wunder and Mason Reiner recorded 14 points apiece. Reiner added seven rebounds and six assists. Riley Spaans added 10 points, four rebounds and four assists. Colby Brown had eight points, six assists and five rebounds. Dalton Westendorf scored eight points.

Gayville-Volin’s Preston Karstens scored 13 points and Spencer Karstens added eight points. 


Highmore-Harrold 57, Sunshine Bible Academy 28 

MILLER — Mason Knox logged a double-double to lift Highmore-Harrold to a boys basketball win over Sunshine Bible Academy on Tuesday.

Knox recorded 14 points and 17 rebounds. Carson Stephenson, Treyton Knox and Trake Cowan scored eight points apiece. Treyton Knox added five assists, while Cowan had six boards. Dawson Hale scored seven points. Bryce Bourk posted six points and six rebounds. 

SBA’s Nolan Triebwasser recorded 11 points and seven rebounds. Daniel Gerbracht added eight points, seven rebounds and four steals. Parker Jones had five points and four steals. 


West Central 55, Tri-Valley 45

HARTFORD — West Central held off Tri-Valley for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Brodie Herr finished with 16 points and four rebounds. Carter Schmeichel added 13 points and four rebounds. Erik Seten scored eight points. Dylan Stromer had seven points and four rebounds. Owen Heath and Crew Heier added seven rebounds apiece.

Tri-Valley’s Noah Haynes scored 22 points, while Trey Johnson added 13 points. 


Beresford 48, Vermillion 45

BERESFORD — Beresford outlasted Vermillion for a boys basketball victory on Tuesday.

Beresford’s Tate VanOtterloo recorded 18 points and Andrew Atwood added 10 points. Aiden Hamm had nine points, while Jake Goblirsch scored seven points. 

Vermillion’s Trey Hansen scored 11 points, while Carter Skogsberg added nine points. Wyatt Gestring scored eight points. Zoan Robinson and Bryson Skogsberg scored six points apiece. Carter Hansen added five points. 


Sioux Falls Jefferson 61, Mitchell 54

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures as Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls Jefferson edged Class AA No. 3 Mitchell in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Jefferson’s Taylen Ashley recorded 21 points, four rebounds and four assists. Kaden Year added 17 points and four rebounds. Griffin Wilde scored 12 points. Beau Giblin scored five points. 

Mitchell’s Dylan Soulek tossed in 17 points and collected seven rebounds. Steele Morgan added 12 points and eight rebounds. Charlie McCardle had eight points, while Aiden Meyers had six points. Markus Talley scored five points. 


Yankton 59, Aberdeen Central 47

ABERDEEN — Four players scored in double figures to lift Yankton to a boys basketball win over Aberdeen Central on Tuesday. 

Drew Ryken recorded 25 points, four rebounds and three 3-pointers. Rugby Ryken added 11 points, five steals and five rebounds. Mac Ryken and Michael Mors scored 10 points apiece. 

Aberdeen Central’s Carter Dingman netted 17 points, collected five rebounds and hit four 3-pointers. Carson Carda added 10 points. Spencer Barr scored eight points and dished out six assists. Parker Lemer had six points. 


Sioux Falls Washington 68, Brookings 33

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures to pace Sioux Falls Washington to a boys basketball win over Brookings on Tuesday. 

Zaharic Sheppard posted 13 points, six rebounds and three 3-pointers. Cole Peterson added 12 points, five assists and four 3-pointers. A.J. Akot logged 10 points and five rebounds. Mandalla Mohamed recorded five points, four rebounds and four assists. 

Brookings’ Ryan Bauman logged eight points, while Austin Clark and Nathan Lease scored six points apiece. Lease had seven rebounds and Clark had six rebounds. Jackson Hoffmann scored five points.
