Wagner 67, Bon Homme 28

WAGNER — Class A No. 2 Wagner improved to 5-0 with a girls basketball win over Bon Homme on Friday. 


Viborg-Hurley 62, Dakota Valley 37

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Three players scored in double figures as Class B No. 1 Viborg-Hurley pulled away from Dakota Valley for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Viborg-Hurley’s Denae Mach tallied 20 points, while Coral Mason recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, and six steals. Shelby Lyons had 10 points, while Charley Nelson added seven points and five assists.

Dakota Valley’s Sophie Tuttle had nine points, while Emerson Mead added seven points.


Ethan 56, Wessington Springs 27

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Ethan jumped out to a 22-11 first-quarter lead en route to a girls basketball win over Wessington Springs on Friday. 

Ava Lingemann finished with 22 points, while Madeline Bartscher recorded 11 points. Marissa Storm had 10 points. Ella Pollreisz posted seven points and eight rebounds. Annalise Buenning and Leah Klock had five rebounds apiece. 

Wessington Springs’ Kate Havlik finished with 11 points, while Avery Orth added eight points and eight rebounds. Kirstie Munsen had eight points and six boards. 


Vermillion 62, Parkston 34

VERMILLION — Vermillion pulled away from Parkston for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Brooklyn Voss led the Tanagers with 16 points, while Brooke Jensen netted 12 points.

Parkston stats were not reported. 


Centerville 69, Burke 34

BURKE — Class B No. 3 Centerville used a balanced scoring attack to pick up a girls basketball win over Burke on Friday. 

Centerville’s Thea Gust finished with 18 points, while Balley Hansen and Lillie Eide scored 13 points apiece. Hansen added 17 boards. Izzie Eide logged 12 points. MaKayla Heesch scored seven points and Mackenzie Meyer had seven rebounds. Kiylee Westra had six rebounds.  

Burke’s Bridget Bartling logged nine points, while Cecily Geaghan and Kailee Frank had five points apiece. Frank added five rebounds. 


Colman-Egan 64, Canistota 49

COLMAN — Colman-Egan held off Canistota for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Colman-Egan’s Brynlee Landis recorded 24 points, while Lanie Mousel had 15 points and seven assists. Berkeley Groos had 12 points and five assists.

Canistota’s Natalie Becker had 18 points, while Hannah Hoffman tallied 13 points. Kayla Papendick added 10 points.


Arlington 54, Madison 43

ARLINGTON — Arlington held off Madison for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Arlington’s Addalyn Steffensen led with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Isabelle Steffensen had 10 points. Jaelyn Huntimer had nine points and five steals, while Harley Johnson had seven points, five rebounds, and five steals.

Madison’s Zoey Gerry scored a game-high 24 points and 13 rebounds.


Castlewood 38, Flandreau 31

FLANDREAU — Castlewood outlasted Flandreau for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Castlewood’s Mackenzie Everson scored 19 points, while Maddie Horn added nine points.

Flandreau’s Lily Klein tallied 19 points, while Claire Sheppard had eight points.


Dell Rapids St. Mary 77, Chester Area 41

CHESTER — Mandala Hanson powered Dell Rapids St. Mary to a girls basketball win over Chester Area on Friday.

Hanson finished with 29 points and five rebounds, while Whitney Warwick tallied 14 points. Addison Libis added 10 points.

Chester Area’s Emmerson Eppard led with 16 points, while Jacy Wolf added 10 points. 


Milbank 58, Britton-Hecla 25

BRITTON — Four players scored in double figures as Milbank pulled away from Britton-Hecla for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Milbank’s Isabella Anderson had 15 points, while Maurina Street tallied 14 points, nine rebounds, and five steals. Siera Wenzl and Tyra Berry each had 10 points.

Britton-Hecla was led by Tiyanna Schott with 12 points and six rebounds, while Jayden Bender added seven points and six rebounds.


Elk Point-Jefferson 55, Alcester-Hudson 24

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson used a 29-5 third quarter to pull away from Alcester-Hudson for a girls basketball win on Friday.

EPJ was led by Kaitlyn VanRoekel with 22 points and four steals, while Bentlee Kollbaum had 11 points and five rebounds. Ashley Brewer had eight points.

Alcester-Hudson’s Elly Doering led with 10 points.


Rapid City Stevens 66, Sioux Falls Roosevelt 28

RAPID CITY — Rapid CIty Stevens pulled away from Sioux Falls Roosevelt for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Rapid City Stevens was led by Taaliyah Porter with 18 points, while Finley Love had 14 points. Gabbie Love had 12 points.

Sioux Falls Roosevelt’s Katie Spicer had seven points and five rebounds.


Sioux Falls Jefferson 62, Rapid City Central 43

RAPID CITY — Class AA No. 4 Sioux Falls Jefferson raced past Rapid City Central for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Sioux Falls Jefferson’s Aliyah McGovern-Harrington led with 15 points, while Ashlen Johnson and Kassidy Larsen each had nine points. Jaidyn Dunn had eight points, while Cierra Watkins added six points, eight rebounds, and 12 assists.

Rapid City Central’s Aaliyah Jones had 13 points, six rebounds, and six assists, while Teila Jiron had nine points.


Bishop Heelan, Iowa 50, Harrisburg 40

HARRISBURG — Bishop Heelan, Iowa picked up a girls basketball win over Class AA No. 5 Harrisburg on Friday.

Harrisburg was led by Kayleigh Hybertson with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Abby Flanagan had 11 points.
