Rapid City Christian 51, St. Thomas More 30

RAPID CITY — Benson Kieffer paced Class A No. 4 Rapid City Christian to a boys basketball win over St. Thomas More on Tuesday.

Kieffer finished with a game-high 17 points. Simon Kieffer added nine points, while Julius Frog added six points. Wes Schlabach had five points. 

For STM, Ashton Paulsen recorded 11 points and Max Speed scored 10 points. Declan Duffy added five points. 


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 49, Kimball/White Lake 34

WOONSOCKET — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket opened up a big first-half lead on their way to a win over Kimball/White Lake in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Landon Jensen led Sanborn Central/Woonsocket with 12 points. Grant Edwards finished with seven points and six rebounds and McCoy Schulz chipped in with eight points. 

Stats for Kimball/White Lake were not reported. 


West Central 69, Dakota Valley 48

Hartford — Will Kuhl and Connor Mebius combined for 38 points in West Central’s upset win over Class A No. 3 Dakota Valley Tuesday.

Kuhl collected 19 points and six rebounds, Mebius had 19 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals, Kolte Garry tallied 11 points, six rebounds and three assists, Carter Gross totaled seven points, while Elliot DeJong added five rebounds and three blocks in the win.

DV’s Luke Bruns totaled 21 points while Logan Collette added 10 points in the loss.


Castlewood 50, Clark/Willow Lake 38

WILLOW LAKE — Bryon Laue logged a double-double to help Class B No. 1 Castlewood pick up a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Laue finished with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Jamison Keszler added 19 points. Brody Bass added eight points, while Luke Baumberger added six points.

For CWL, Bo Begeman finished with 16 points. Emmerson Larson had eight points. Sullivan Felberg and Chris Bevers scored six points apiece. 


De Smet 62, Howard 51

DE SMET — De Smet rallied from a 14-point deficit and knocked off Class B No. 5 Howard in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

De Smet’s Grant Wilkinson finished with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Noah Luethmers added 16 points, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. Carter Wilkinson had 11 points, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. 

For Howard, Carson Hinker finished with 19 points and 11 boards. Lucas Felhaus had 12 points and five assists. Luke Koepsell added nine points and seven rebounds. Kolt Becker logged six points. Austin Severson had five points. 


Dell Rapids St. Mary 61, Elkton-Lake Benton 41

LAKE BENTON — Trevon Beckman’s 30-point outing lifted Class B No. 2 Dell Rapids St. Mary past Elkton-Lake Benton during Tuesday’s high school boys basketball action.

Beckman finished with 30 points, Maverick LeBrun added nine points, Trimmier Hanson had eight points, while Peyton Lamb and Lincoln LeBrun each had six points in the win.

ELB’s Riley Nordmeyer had 14 points, Tanner Drietz and Eliot Erickson each had seven points, while Blake De Vries, Joseph Nibbe and Ethan Wiskur each had four points in the loss.


Deuel 70, Arlington 32

ARLINGTON — Three players reached double figures as Deuel improved to 7-1 on the season with a win over Arlington on Tuesday. 

Gabe Sather led Deuel with 22 points and nine rebounds. Caden Finnesand posted a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Kyle Finnensand added 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Paxton Rheault led Arlington with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Miles Antonen added eight points and 13 rebounds in the loss.


Corsica-Stickney 64, Mitchell Christian 25

CORSICA — Tyson Wentland and Jarrett Olawsky combined for 35 points as Corsica-Stickney ran past Mitchell Christian in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Tyson Wentland powered Corsica-Stickney with 17 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Jarrett Olawsky finished with 18 points and six rebounds.

Syver Enga led Mitchell Christian with eight points while Brady Asbenson finished with seven points and six rebounds.


Parkston 65, Canistota 34

CANISTOTA — Grady Bowar hit six three-pointers in Parkston’s victory over Canistota Tuesday.

Bowar finished with 18 points, shooting 6-for-8 from the arc, adding four steals and three assists. Landon Weber tallied 15 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists, Brycen Bruening tallied 10 points and three rebounds, while Mason Jervik tallied nine points and five assists in the win.

Canistota’s Brady Scott tallied 11 points and seven rebounds and two steals, Blaise Showers had seven points and six rebounds, while Jaden Kleinsasser tallied four points and six rebounds in the loss.


Miller 74, Redfield 45

REDFIELD — Isaak Hunter and Will Resel combined for 48 points in Miller’s boys basketball victory over Redfield Tuesday.

Hunter and Resel each had 24 points, Derek Brueggeman tallied 10 points, Oliver Fritzsche totaled seven points, while Gentry Harrell collected six points in the win.

Redfield’s Ruben Alvarez tallied 23 points while Grady Hulscher added 10 points in the loss.


Centerville 66, Scotland/Menno 37

MENNO — Centerville took down Scotland/Menno during Tuesday’s high school boys basketball action.

Centerville’s stats were not reported.

SM’s Bryce Sattler collected eight points, Izayah Ulmer and Kory Keppen each had seven points, while Hunter Clark added six points in the loss.


Leola-Frederick Area 66, North Central 21

LEOLA — Leola-Frederick coasted past North Central for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Noah Kippley scored 16 points, while Ethan Petrich added 15 points. Gavin Nickelson had eight points, while Milo Sumption and Lucas Gulbranson scored six points. 

For North Central, Aiden Goings scored five points. 


Vermillion 72, Madison 46

MADISON — Three players scored in double figures as Vermillion took down Madison Tuesday.

Luke Jensen led the way with 19 points, Trey Hansen tallied 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists, Carter Hansen collected 13 points, five rebounds and five steals, Spencer Blanchette tallied eight points, Gabe Larsen added eight points and three steals in the win.

Madison’s Myles Schneider tallied 16 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals , Ben Brooks collected 13 points and two steals, while Brody Cummins had five points in the loss.


Sioux Falls Lutheran 68, Gayville-Volin 34

GAYVILLE — Spencer Karstens big night helped to lift Sioux Falls Lutheran to a road win over Gayville-Volin in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Karstens delivered 30 points, five rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Hunter Wuebben finished with 12 points and Preston Karstens added 11 points. 

Sam Borg led Gayville-Volin with 15 points with Kade Matthews pumping in 14 points.


Sully Buttes 75, Ipswich 33

IPSWICH — Eli Mercer and Wesley Wittler combined for 48 points during Sully Buttes win over Ipswich Tuesday.

Mercer finished with a game-high 28 points, four rebounds and four assists, Wittler tallied 20 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals, Easton Moore had eight points, Gavin Colson totaled seven points, while Jett Yackley and Teghan Westphal each had five points in the win.

Ipswich’s Max Kulesa tallied 11 points and three rebounds, Kyle Hettich had nine points, while Jaxon Holt added seven points in the loss.


Huron 47, Mitchell 38

MITCHELL — Colton McNeil and Blake Ellwein combined for 26 points as Huron defeated Class AA No. 2 Mitchell in boys basketball action on Tuesday. 

McNeil recorded 14 points, while Ellwein added 12 points and six rebounds. Trace Wenz had nine points and five rebounds. Chase Davis added five points, five rebounds and five blocked shots. 

For Mitchell, Colton Smith posted 17 points and 10 rebounds. Markus Talley added eight points. Gavin Hinker added six points and six rebounds. Owen Raml logged five points and four rebounds. Landen Soulek had five rebounds.


Western Christian (Iowa) 63, Lennox 47

LENNOX — Class A No. 5 Lennox fell to Western Christian in high school boys basketball Tuesday.

Lennox’s Tate Gerdes had 17 points, Boston Katzer recorded 10 points, while Teegan Musser added six points in the loss.


Sioux Falls Lincoln 53, Sioux Falls Jefferson 39

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls Lincoln picked up a win over Sioux Falls Jefferson in boys basketball action on Tuesday. 

Sam DeGroot led the Patriots with 19 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Deondre Painter added 13 points and two rebounds while Luke Krempges and Sam Erickson combined for 11 points. 

Kuek Kuek led Sioux Falls Jefferson with 11 points, six rebounds and two assists. Kuai Mayen chipped in with 10 points.
