Boys

Gregory 55, Chamberlain 44

GREGORY — Gregory held off Chamberlain for a boys basketball win on Monday.

Gregory’s Daniel Mitchell netted a game-high 19 points, while Noah Bearshield added 12 points. Cruz Klundt had eight points, while Jackson Bolander had seven points. Rane Kenzy scored five points. 

Chamberlain’s Kenyon McCloskey had 17 points, while Dakota Munger tossed in 15 points. Levi Miller added five points. 


Winner 75, Bon Homme 26

TYNDALL — Three players scored in double figures to pace Winner to a boys basketball win over Bon Homme on Monday. 

Shawn Hammerbeck posted 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Blake Volmer added 14 points and 10 boards. Aiden Barfuss finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Ryder Halligan logged nine points, while Carter Craven had seven points. Norman Chasing Hawk IV recorded five points, four rebounds and three rebounds. Pierce Nelson collected five rebounds. 

Bon Homme’s Logan Winckler and Easton Mudder scored six points apiece. 

 



De Smet 59, Clark/Willow Lake 40

DE SMET — Damon Wilkinson powered Class B No. 3 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Wilkinson recorded 30 points, 12 rebounds and two blocked shots. George Jensen logged 12 points and seven rebounds. Kadyn Fast and Thomas Aughenbaugh scored six points apiece. Gannon Gruenhagen had five points and six rebounds. Kasen Janssen grabbed five rebounds. 

Clark/Willow Lake’s Brady Jordan netted 13 points, while Kaplan Felberg added eight points. Tyson Huber logged seven points.  


Dell Rapids St. Mary 60, Elkton-Lake Benton 38

LAKE BENTON, Minn. — Three players scored in double figures to pace Dell Rapids St. Mary to a boys basketball win over Elkton-Lake Benton on Monday. 

Nic Gaspar finished with 21 points, while Maverick LeBrun scored 13 points. Trevon Beckman added 11 points. C.J. Smith scored six points. 

ELB’s Ryan Krog netted 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Carson Griffith added 10 points and nine boards.  


Sioux Falls Washington 49, Sioux Falls O’Gorman 41

SIOUX FALLS — Three Sioux Falls Washington players reached double figures as the Warriors earned a win over Sioux Falls O’Gorman in boys basketball action Monday.

Cole Peterson led the Warriors in scoring with 14 points. AJ Akot delivered 13 points and nine rebounds while Mandalla Mohamed added 12 points. 

Matthew Eng led the Knights with 13 points. Radley Mauney and Zander Benz each had eight for O’Gorman. 


Milbank 68, Britton-Hecla 33

BRITTON — Milbank used a balanced attack to earn a road win over Britton-Hecla on Monday night. 

The Bulldogs were powered by Joe Schulte who led all scorers with 20 points. Jackson Widung added 16 points and Garrett Mertens added 14. Aiden Lubvigson added eight points for Milbank. Gabe Storley paced Britton-Hecla with eight points. Teammates BoDell Davidson and Ty Fagerland each scored six points. 

 

Iroquois/Lake Preston 67, Arlington 50

IROQUOIS — Iroquois/Lake Preston earned a boys basketball win over Arlington on Monday.

ILP was led by Logan Peskey with 18 points and six rebounds, while Riley Casper had 14 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Tobias Arbeiter added 11 points and four steals.

Arlington’s Tommy Bacon had 15 points.


Girls

Winner 46, Bon Homme 34

TYNDALL — Winner held off Bon Homme for a girls basketball win on Monday. 

Kylie Sachtjen finished with 18 points and five rebounds. Cici Watson added seven points and nine rebounds. Lilly Barfuss had six points, while Josey Kludt added five points. 

Bon Homme’s Taycee Ranek scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Jaden Kortan scored nine points and had four rebounds. Kenadee Kozak logged six points and six rebounds. Erin Heusinkveld added seven rebounds. 


Corsica-Stickney 44, Platte-Geddes 30

CORSICA — Corsica-Stickney picked up a girls basketball win over Platte-Geddes on Monday.

Corsica-Stickney’s Avery Broughton led with 13 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Payton DeLange tallied 11 points and six steals, while Sydney Spaans had seven points. Braylee Bordewyk and Sutten Eide had six and five points, respectively.

Platte-Geddes was led by Karly VanDerWerff with 12 points and seven rebounds. Hadley Hanson had seven points, while Cadence VanZee grabbed six rebounds.


Hanson 64, Parkston 38 

ALEXANDRIA — Four players scored in double figures to pace Hanson to a girls basketball win over Parkston on Monday, 

Erin Dewald finished with 19 points, while Taziah Hawkins added 15 points. Annalyse Weber and Alyssa Moschell scored 10 points apiece. Weber dished out four assists. Moschell and Kylie Haiar had six rebounds apiece. 

Parkston’s Abby Hohn and Mya Thuringer scored nine and eight points, respectively. 


Arlington 70, Iroquois/Lake Preston 56

LAKE PRESTON — Three players reached double figures as Arlington earned a hard fought win Monday night over Iroquois/Lake Preston. 

Addie Steffensen powered Arlington with 25 points. Jo Steffensen added 15 points while Jaelyn Huntimer scored 13 points. Harley Johnson also had eight points for Arlington.

Adison Moore led the Sharks with 24 points with teammate Becca Bich recording 10 points on the night. 


Florence-Henry 71, Waubay-Summit 24

FLORENCE — Eleven girls scored Monday as Florence-Henry earned a win over Waubay-Summit in girls basketball action. 

Caylin Kelly played a superb all around game finishing with 18 points, six rebounds and seven steals. Taylor Watson scored 12 points while Trinity Watson scored eight points and dished out six assists. 

Kailee Burger paced Waubay-Summit with 10 points. Eva Larson and Brianna Lindholm combined for nine points. 


Canton 62, Tea Area 46

CANTON — Four players scored in double figures to lift Canton to a girls basketball win over Tea Area on Monday. 

Brynn Oakland, Amanda Lease and Bria Cady scored 11 points apiece, while Cady collected five rebounds. Shelbie Olseth scored 10 points. Danica Rozeboom added eight points and four rebounds. Jenna VandeWeerd had six points and 10 rebounds. 

Tea Area’s Mara Grant finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Stella Peterson had eight points, while Miah Weber added five points and four rebounds. Rylan Konrad finished with 10 rebounds. 


Lennox 47, Dell Rapids 38 

LENNOX — Lennox picked up a girls basketball win over Dell Rapids on Monday.

Lennox was led by Dani Highum with 25 points and five rebounds, while Ryann Hanssen had 15 points and five rebounds.

Dell Rapids was led by Clair Wynja with 14 points, while Jenna Miller added 10 points.


Sioux Falls Washington 42, Sioux Falls O’Gorman 33

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 2 Sioux Falls Washington knocked off top ranked Sioux Falls O’Gorman in girls high school basketball action Monday. 

Brooklyn Harpe powered the Warriors with 19 points and five rebounds. Grace Peterson and Hannah Harpe combined for 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Taylor Thompson added five points for the Warriors. 

Mahli Abdouch scored 11 points for Sioux Falls O’Gorman. Lucy Moore added seven points with Kira Mentele chipping in five points.
